I bought the ebook and it’s very informative. Tells you everything you need to know on how to cross safely and what you should do. He takes all the guess work out of it by actually doing it himself. Unfortunately I haven’t used it yet but I will….hopefully soon. Maybe this summer. Would love to run into him on the way!
Sure does I remember hearing that when I was younger and thinking I had plenty time well you never have plenty time just turned 49 and recently had a Cole heart attacks 2wks ago Love life and fish away

How much did you pay for this engagement post, iBelongOutdoors?
@@peanutbutterdijonnaiseI didn’t pay anything Lol, I don’t need anyone to advertise in my comments, the video did 1 million views on its own. 🤙🏿
If you started a tour company, I’d 100% go on this tour with you guys! And you are so right - to God be the glory!
i watched video's of people who went over with multiple ski's and jetboats already 10 years ago, so i gues that there are people who offer a tour by now.
I'm in!
same! I reached out to them like 10 years ago and they offered me the opportunity to come out and do the trip with them. Unfortunately I didn't make it out. If I get an opportunity to do it now I'll take it

This is not luck. This is skill. You guys have the right gear and the right time. So many of us try to make plans and make plans but the sea doesn't care about your plans. So you go when it works. I have a few friends who have crossed in sailboats and got the crap beat out of them.
Great job, you guys!
Mad RESPECT to you and your bro…I’m 82 and wish you guys were around when I was coming up, ..but that would mean you were older than dirt, like me. Your vids are so informative and well put together. Enjoy life dudes…..
Mad respect to you for making it to 82 🙌🏽 I’m 26 and can’t help but to think about how wild and fascinating it must’ve been to see the world change and transform throughout your life. Hope your 80s are treating you well!

It is hard to imagine such calm, picture-perfect conditions on the open ocean. This is such a crazy good trip!
The vibes in this video are so good
Thanks for watching!
I bet it’s so much fun!
Well, this is cool, a bit scary but incredible awesome.
I also want to applaud these guys for encouraging people to do the trip in the right way, no stupid stunts, no crazy races, saving fuel... It's all about enjoying the ride.
Scary for sure!!
What exactly about this is scary?

Life is one big adventure. GO live it. I'm looking forward to doing this trip, probably next year when I retire.

@kojoefante I'm sure someone has completed this type of adventure or will do so soon, my friend. Just fly to your destination and rent a ski while in the area. Safe travels and enjoy life.
Just WOW! ,This old retired soldier enjoyed watching your trip. Good job. That is a dream!
You helped me see how uncomplicated life is when we remove the stress of work & bills. I’m so jealous of your freedom I could cry!!

Fantastic! Warms my heart to see two young men living loving life. Thanks for taking me along. As an old man, this is the only way I'm riding a ski to the Bahamas. As you said, all glory to God.

I remember taking a boat trip with my uncle and cousins from Ft Lauderdale to Bimini on my uncle's sport fisherman many years ago. I forgot how amazing and beautiful the Gulf Stream is with that rich, exotic cobalt blue color. Thanks for bringing back a fond memory.
Made that trip many times when I was a teenager. The hotel in West End was still operational. It was a magical place, imo. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
And you remember Jack Tar Marina, that big salt water pool, maybe you remember Pink Panther cab man, dancing with the tourists, Sandy Cay...good times.
@@busterhyman103 I definitely remember the pool & marina. We came there by boat & stayed in the marina. I don’t remember the dancing cab driver though. It was the first place in the Bahamas I visited. Later I lived in Freeport for a couple years, but that hotel complex in West End was such an incredible place. I was so sad when I heard it closed.
This is great to see... I remember back in the early 2000s when my friends and I used to go island hopping on wave runners. At the time, my uncle had a wave runner rental company on the beautiful beach of Orient Bay Sxm. My friends used to call me crazy when I would go to St-Barths on the weekend on the back of my Yamaha 750. Then my uncle purchased the Yamaha SUV 1200, which was a game changer because it had more fuel capacity and the storage capacity was amazing. With that said, I’ve been as far as Guadeloupe via Antigua. That was southbound. And north, I’ve been as far as the USVI and BVI. Those were some crazy runs.
Now that's how you enjoy your personal water craft 🚤

Back in the eighty's I took a sail boat cruise from Miami to Bimini and the berry islands we crossed the gulf stream in 14' seas. The captain built the 72' boat himself and it had a very shallow drat he put a lot of lead in the bottom, the shallow draft allowed the boat to access remote places in the Barry islands. He made us sail the hell out of it to conserve gas. he told us he made the same trip for his honeymoon in a 14' sears game fisher. he said he swamped the boat lost all his supplies and had to spear fish to trade the fish for more supplies.
My auntie and her husband sale to the Bahamas occasionally too. Hopefully you called the coast gaurd to let them know where you're going. My uncle Mark makes sure they know just incase they get lost or go missing. It's such an awesome sail. So beautiful.
The reflection of the sunrise in your glasses is incredible.

God that is a dream trip for me! I keep my boat in SW Florida so I would have to trailer it to the east coast but defiantly a trip I'm going to take one day!
I really appreciate that you acknowledged how thankful you are for even being able to try a trip like this.. Before you said that I was thinking to myself how incredible this sounds and then I started thinking really negative about how i'll probably never have the chance.. thanks man.
In 1998 or so, I went on a WaveRunner from Boca Raton to Green Turtle Cay (via West End) with three others. I enjoyed watching your video. It certainly brought back memories.
On our trip, it turns out that when it was time to return, a couple of the others decided that they "had to" get home on the scheduled date, so we ended up returning across the Gulf Stream during a small craft advisory. My choice at that point was to either cross with them in the small craft advisory, or cross by myself when the weather settled down. I ended up going with them. Fortunately the wind was at our back, so we made it without incident. We learned how important the tailwind was every time one of us lost our hat and had to turn around and retrieve it. No way could we have made any progress going the other direction. The smooth seas you encountered on your trip really made me jealous!

Im 78 years young and see this adventure and wish I could do the same. Back in 1934, it used to take me 14 hours to do what these two did in 2 hours, and the man who I sailed with had a strong topsail to match, although he sold his harpoon set to fund his upgrades so we couldn't fish.
This looks awesome. Enjoy it man. It doesn't get better than that
God has blessed you.
Great video! Having a buddy on a separate ride is key. At 20mph it’s about a 3 1/2 ride so weather would be known. Start a tour company with a follow boat and you’ll clean up! I’d so do that trip with a group. What a rush.

So awesome hearing you give the glory to God! Amen!
What a freakin experience!! SOOOOO cool! Thanks for sharing! Can't believe the jet skis made it that far on one tank of gas with that much gear.
Not a water/boat person…but always loved the idea of a personal boat in open waters. I/you can go anywhere…want to go from San Francisco Bay Area to Hawaii…Mexico…Alaska…just go.
My dad used to do this with a friend of his on stand up jet skis and ride the swells. He and his friend saw a couple large objects breach the water resembling either a large sea serpent or multiple whales come out of the water 4 miles out. He said his friend and him without saying crossed paths and turned around and went back and never returned to the Ocean again.
😂😂😂😂😂
Sea Serpents 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Likely was a seal.
Here because of Brad Leone and because you're rad.
Keep being you man!

Did a 63mile run on a sea-doo, from Stockholm to Åland (in between sweden and finland), rough seas the entire way, could barely hang on, cold AF and pretty much pitch black at all times. Made it tho, this looks like the same trip just better in every single way shape n form. Nice vid!

If Jaws comes I can hear you now, " I think we're gonna need a bigger boat"😂
I did this crossing in a motorized outrigger canoe with Arlo Guthrie in 1974. We didn't have GPS, just a chart, compass and sextant. Aside from his musical talent, he is one hell of a navigator.
