I bought the ebook and it’s very informative. Tells you everything you need to know on how to cross safely and what you should do. He takes all the guess work out of it by actually doing it himself. Unfortunately I haven’t used it yet but I will….hopefully soon. Maybe this summer. Would love to run into him on the way!

It is hard to imagine such calm, picture-perfect conditions on the open ocean. This is such a crazy good trip!
I don't fish, I don't own any boat or seacraft, I don't even like water, but this video is amazing. You seem so happy bro, I hope most of us get to find this type of peace at some point. Take care and be safe out there.
I agree with everything you said.
For real after watching this I’m about to look up a sea doo 😂😂😂😂 I’d have to drive it on a trailer from MA to Florida to put it on the water for this!
Very cool! Nice to see you out enjoying your life…
This is not luck. This is skill. You guys have the right gear and the right time. So many of us try to make plans and make plans but the sea doesn't care about your plans. So you go when it works. I have a few friends who have crossed in sailboats and got the crap beat out of them.
Great job, you guys!

This is great to see... I remember back in the early 2000s when my friends and I used to go island hopping on wave runners. At the time, my uncle had a wave runner rental company on the beautiful beach of Orient Bay Sxm. My friends used to call me crazy when I would go to St-Barths on the weekend on the back of my Yamaha 750. Then my uncle purchased the Yamaha SUV 1200, which was a game changer because it had more fuel capacity and the storage capacity was amazing. With that said, I’ve been as far as Guadeloupe via Antigua. That was southbound. And north, I’ve been as far as the USVI and BVI. Those were some crazy runs.
I honestly don't think I could do that trip, I'm well too aware how nature does not care about us mortals...I do appreciate you making a video so we may experience this, great stuff

Back in the eighty's I took a sail boat cruise from Miami to Bimini and the berry islands we crossed the gulf stream in 14' seas. The captain built the 72' boat himself and it had a very shallow drat he put a lot of lead in the bottom, the shallow draft allowed the boat to access remote places in the Barry islands. He made us sail the hell out of it to conserve gas. he told us he made the same trip for his honeymoon in a 14' sears game fisher. he said he swamped the boat lost all his supplies and had to spear fish to trade the fish for more supplies.
Thank you for this, disabled and cant do stuff like this but now i got u to take the trips for, much love brother

With calm seas and great weather I made it from west palm to Old Bahama Bay marina in west end cay in roughly 1.5 hours 😂 it’s very weird to think of every time you do it. Set the course and let the boat do the work and you get there before you finish your coffee sometimes lol

When I lived in Naples we used to do it every now and again on speedboats. Was a blast. Every other weekend we chilled on the island of keywadin!
How is it odd you must be from, Nebraska or something.. it’s literally like driving from 1 city to another it’s not bewildering it’s just an island and he is in FLORIDA!!!!! 😂😂😂 come on now
That looks like a real fun trip. I’ve been to the Bahamas once on a cruise and the water was so beautiful there.
In 1998 or so, I went on a WaveRunner from Boca Raton to Green Turtle Cay (via West End) with three others. I enjoyed watching your video. It certainly brought back memories.
On our trip, it turns out that when it was time to return, a couple of the others decided that they "had to" get home on the scheduled date, so we ended up returning across the Gulf Stream during a small craft advisory. My choice at that point was to either cross with them in the small craft advisory, or cross by myself when the weather settled down. I ended up going with them. Fortunately the wind was at our back, so we made it without incident. We learned how important the tailwind was every time one of us lost our hat and had to turn around and retrieve it. No way could we have made any progress going the other direction. The smooth seas you encountered on your trip really made me jealous!
