Congrats on the new bike! I love my Nightster. For those that say it is a girls bike, I usually respond that I like girls so I’m ok with it. Enjoy it - be safe!
I have a street rod 750. XG750A and I don’t need another bike. Customised everything I wanted. People complain about many things but you still see they buy expensive softails or touring bike and still customise to fit them 😅. One thing I miss is cruise control. I only feel like buying the new Nightster S 975 . It has more space and cruise control. I can tell you for fuel capacity you can install custom 1200 4 gallon tank on yours .
It’s a good bike . I have seen the bike and have checked it out . Have not done a test ride yet . I think it is the most fun+comfort+performance bike from Harley.
Low rider ST is also a good buy. I like low rider S more than ST. Those fairings and saddlebags just kills the looks for me. I’m happy with a backpack and tank bag. For occasional camping luggage there are other options. For daily I just use SW motech tank bag( magnetic) .
Sweet ride, bro. If ever want to get something a little faster. Look at a street bob or a low rider s. They have a lot comfort and style of a harley, but with the power of a bagger.

Where did you get the saddle bags? I’ve been trying to find them but I think they discontinued them.
Dang man I just looked, and it seems they may have! I got mine off their website. That's a shame I love mine. I know Thrashin supply made a similar set, but they were much more expensive. Maybe check the used market or send the company an email never hurts to ask!

@@CopeRides yeah I like the Thrashin ones but those and the ones Torque have now you need to relocate the tail lights.
This was my first street bike, but I had years of experience riding dirtbikes at a decently high level. If you’ve never ridden a bike before but really want a Harley I would recommend the 883 version of the sportster or maybe even the Harley Davidson Street 500!
I had never rode any sort of motorbike at all before I took my MSF course. Before I took my class, at the age of 25, I found an 883 on Facebook for a decent price and I scooped it up. After passing my class, and getting my license I rode the 883 for about two months before I got bored and traded it in for a 1200. Now two years into riding I’m already bored with the 1200. Mostly because I have aspirations of riding longer distances with a bigger gas tank, and for a more comfortable ride. If you’re old enough to respect the machine then I would go with something that might scare you a little bit to be honest. I’m a firm believer in respecting the machine. If you can always remember that these things can kill you then I think you’re mature enough to get a little bit of a bigger bike. If you’re young and dumb then get something that’s smaller and slower. No doubt I don’t regret the choices I made with the bikes I’ve had, but part of me wishes I would have just bit the bullet and got a Street Bob for my first bike since it’s so low to the ground, and I can almost guarantee I wouldn’t be bored with the power of the bike yet. Just my opinion though. It’s obviously up to you and what you believe your capabilities are at the end of the day.

Hahah right on! I’ve actually owned this bike now for about 3 years. Plan on making a long term review video soon! Stay safe as well brother!
Cheers brother I did the same thing wanted a crotch rocket then started checking out Harley’s they are so choice.
Nice video bro. I’ve owned mine for about a year now and love it.
Thanks man! Keep stacking miles and stay safe!

I’ve considered the tank, but I just hate to change it for looks! I’d love to take a ride on the new nightster just to see how they compare!
Get you some Road King air shocks to help the ride. They basically bolt up with some washers/ spacers.
I will look into that!

Personally, I'd say the lowrider ST would be what you describe but bang for buck ya can't beat a sporty!

@@CopeRides another motorcycle that is currently bang for your buck is BMWR18 baggers.
I started on a 1200xl then went to low rider s. I miss my iron. It was super fun , wish it had a 6th gear was my only real gripe.
I will definitely miss mine when the time comes! I completely feel with wishing it has a 6th gear.

Would you recommend it for a beginner bike
