    Adding a comment, as many people have been asking about the plug on the drivers side that is hard to get to. It is right near the mechanical fuel pump. I did the job yesterday in my driveway. You will need to remove the coil pack electrical plug, no doubt about it. Once that comes out, there is some black foam over the fuel pump that gets pushed aside, and a black fuel line protector that gets pushed aside. Unbolt the coil pack using a 10mm, then you can wiggle it out without touching the fuel lines. Once again, you absolutely must take the coil pack electrical plug off to do this. The connectors are weird so don't break them. Snap the grey plastic up and push it in to release it.

    How to you get the one on the right side out from under the hoses? No one seems to show that one, just the easy ones on the left.

    This was great. I'm glad you didn't edit the video so I'll know what's "normal". I really appreciate you doing this. It matches my Hyundai Santa Fe. I have a 2019. Looks just like my spark plug set up and alignment.

    A tip guys, if you cannot get the spark plug out of the well, use the coil to get it out instead.

    The last plug on the right.
    A box end 10mm wrench and a little bit of wiggling. The plastic over the metal tube, just rotate it 180 degrees. A flat head screwdriver to (finesse with skill)Using the lever/fulcrum principle.The coil will come out., all 4 plugs 45 minutes, antiseize on the threads of the new plugs. Iridium.

    I'd like to fix this on my 2010 Tucson. I need to buy the right tools. I don't have any of those tools, I need to buy them. I guess I'll try to ask about the gap at the supply store (I already bought my plugs online). I appreciate you making this video you explain very well. I hope I can do it right! THANKS SIR!

    The best way to describe which way to turn the socket ( the left, right, towards the driver side etc. ) is either ‘clockwise’ or ‘counter-clockwise’! It takes the guesswork out!

    For the spark plug just type in preset-gap this way you get plugs that are spaced correctly.

    I love this channel you make things simple and plain. Can you recommend the best spark plug and ignition coils that would last the longest?? Seams like when I go to pepboys or NTB these don’t last me for whatever reason and I’ve had them changed 4 times in 16 months it’s ridiculous

    p.s. I'm here because I got mad because the shop down the street wanted to charge me for ONE HOUR service when I'm on youtube watching all these guys do it in 5 minutes. I told him no I've seen it done in about 15 minutes, he tried to make something up about how he had to fix this that and the other ro change spark plugs and it was all a lie, it's just a few screws. Not paying for ONE HOUR service ($120) for something that takes 5 minutes. (making me mad!) lol I'll just do it myself.

    What spark plugs do you recommend? I have a 2019 Tucson. Are the ones from AutoZone good? What’s the part number?

    • @Flashback502
      @Flashback502  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it's a 2019 you shouldn't need spark plugs yet, but if you do I would check with auto store for recommended plugs.

    Two things.
    1. Pretty much all of us are here because of the #1 plug and that damn fuel line.
    2. Get yourself a cordless ratchet my man, they'll change your life.
    Unrelated note, if anyone is wondering where their PCV valve is, it's that slightly raised bump in front of the #1 plug on the right where that hose connects, directly far right of the oil fill cap.
