Besides those, people are experiencing (1) repeated failures on the plastic window pulley resulting in the windows not working - eventually happens to all doors repeatedly.. (2) Door handle/lock mechanism failure to the point where the door can't be opened from inside or outside (3) AC compressor failure in under 5 years...(4) transmission issue .. Where if you hit a bump the gear sometimes gets knocked temporarily into neutral.. And then goes back into gear... All that in a 2016 Tucson..2.0 gas version
Yes My 2018 Hyundai Tucson 2.0l with 70k miles had driver side window stopped rolling yesterday. I am dead sure it is reputed plastic gear problem. Hyundai should issue a recall on it.
My 2016 Tucson is a POS... Bought it brand new with 11 miles on it back in 2016. Everything you've mentioned has happened. I've replaced the window regulators in 2/4 with the back passenger window broken now too. (Refuse to pay for that right now) The door latches to both front doors have been replaced, AC compressor broke last year, left blinker switch went out just before I lost warranty, and I've had the alternator replaced twice just after warranty went out. Save yourself the hassle and don't ever get one of these garbage cars...
It’s crazy because I’m having the door issue where I can’t open my passenger door from the outside and now the window doesn’t want to go down, and on top of that a week ago the AC evap sensor went out 🥲
Anyone got a fix or know the cause of the delayed acceleration? This is almost got to be killed a few times. Have it scheduled to take into the dealer next week.

I have a 2017 base model and is currently in the shop. Definitely sounds like I have that acceleration issue. Hoping it's a minor fix and/or covered under warranty! (i'm at 93000 miles)
I have a 2016 Hyundai Tucson Limited. & I have the 4th problem. Slow acceleration and a delay in picking up speed while trying to accelerate. I have taken it to the dealership that I bought it from several times and they have done nothing about the problem. What else can I do?? Because it is frustrating and becomes a safety issue especially while driving on the highway... 😩
Yes, same problem I am having with my 2017 Hyundai Tucson Limited!! I have taken mine to 3 Hyundai dealerships actually and none of them able to resolve it.
I'm having the same problem. I asked about it when i went to the dealership for an oil change and they said they couldn't duplicate the problem. It happens almost every time for me. Very low power at low gear and RPM, stuttering and hesitation. And if I give it a lot of gas it kind of 'gets over it' and jerks up to speed way too fast.
Take it to a 3rd party mechanic shop to get a full diagnosis you will have to pay out of pocket but it will be worth it. What dealerships try to do is patch whatever they can to save money even if its covered under warranty. The last thing you want is your engine stalling after your coverage is up.

My 2016 Tucson, which has about 80.000 km and is 5 tears old, as the older 2010 model that I also owned, have an issue with the front right passenger air vent, at low air flow you can bearly hear a screech, ir seems that I am the only one noticing it, other passengers don't hear anything. Additionaly, the 2016 model developed sounds in the insulating rubbers mounted on the driver door, dust cleaning and applying sillicone grease on them, fixed it. Otherwise, the car is techincally sound, I didn't experience any of the issues presented here. I’ve had my 2016 Tucson limited 1.6t for over 2 years and yesterday during 2 hour slightly up hill stop n go traffic on the way to the renaissance faire the transmission was giving a hear warning so i had to pull over twice to let it cool down, i believe the dual clutch was starting to burn because it let out an unusual odor my car hasn’t ever done before, i figured out it was a 1.6t problem because another one 2 years newer also had the same problem and had to pull over, other than that its been great!
Dont lay on the brakes amd the gas pedal at the same time when creeping forward. The DCT transmission in your car is operates like a manual and you shouldnt lay on the clutch. Wait for the car in front of you to start moving and then go. Dont hold the car from rolling with the accelerator, use your brakes.

My hyundai tucson limited shakes so bad when i let go of the breaks like at 1000 rpm, what can it be? Theres no check engine light ive taken it to the dealer but no luck :/
It's your dct transmission. Should've got the 2.0l 6 speed transmission instead of the 1.6l turbo because people do not know how to use them correctly and there is alot of issues with them in the tucson.
its a piece that links the transmission and engine that is broken, they replaced the piece for me and it work. the problem was that they detected a jugger and then proceeded to change the piece. it cost around 2000$ CAD but me it was covered under warranty
2018 tucson and my car has most of these issues. Dealership sucks so bad. it started with the radio glitch. radio acted crazy turning volume up and down on its own on the first day i bought it. didnt think much of it cus im a dumbo and thought the car needed to marinate like chicken since it was brand new. it did stop for a while though.. came back full force months later, and there's nothing i can do about it.... also, the transmission sucks sooo bad. super slow in accelerating but once its going its going. but thats deff a hyundai issue, i feel like all their cars have some kind of transmission issue.
2016 1.6t with 80k I have transmition shaking or jerking every time I'm coming to a stop and accelerate , acting very bad in slow traffic though , I noticed that since day 1 I bought it and it's getting worse , I went to dealer few times and every time they say it's normal behavior for dual clutch
One problem i had on my 2019 tucson with the 1.6 with turbo was my vacuum pump went bad and caused the pcm to set off most of the trouble lights on gauge cluster. Had no tach, no speedo, basically went into limp mode. Also lost communication with pcm and could not retrieve trouble codes.

It only makes the noise when I go to 4th gear all other gears are fine. The car is currently 45750 miles. Any ideas what could be the problem.
Number 4 lag with excel ?...please tell me why to go to dealer?
I have a Hyundai Santa Fe 2018 and I been driving it for 5 years but in the past year it started to sluggish when I accelerate. Do you know what will be the problem?
+@Nina-vi7rv We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Can someone go into detail on the acceleration issue? Taking it to the dealer? Nothing I can do on my end?
I've had nothing but acceleration problems. And most recently while driving on the highway I was trying to increase my speed...I had my foot all the way down and it was like it was stuck, started making this tea kettle whistling noise, and my speed decreased. I thought I was going to die.
Hello my friend. Great video, congrats. I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson GLS with no day time running lamps on it. Do you know how can I install it using the original wire installation? Thank you very much.
Are the transmission spd sensor and acceleration issues also model specific? That is to say both 6spd auto/2.0 and DCT/1.6t models affected?
Hello! How are you? Wich motor diesel is better 1.7 or 2.0?
Brah, I have a 09 tucson and 2013 audi q3 rs engine and itll sound crazy but it was given as a birthday present, will that engine fit my tucson ?
Hello .. how you doing .. i have problem i need u to help me please ....
I have Tucson 1.6 turbo 2016 ... I replace signal lamp to led signal so in display there is a problem message that told me to ( chech turn signal ) how can i solve this problem ?
I have a 2017 ticoson and i just bought it from dealer and when i acelerated does not go tskes time to go
Can you show how the Problem 1 one can be solved, I mean how to change the speed sensor. thanks in advance
need part for transmission and air condition part what parts do i nee and is it something i can do myself
I just bought a 2016 less than 30 days ago and the compressor, condenser and hoses have to be replaced.
It’s crazy because I’m having the door issue where I can’t open my passenger door from the outside and now the window doesn’t want to go down, and on top of that a week ago the AC evap sensor went out 🥲
I have a active hood sensor light on ... How do I reset
Having an issue currently when I accelerate & take the foot off the pedal it feels like is still accelerating
Anyone got a fix or know the cause of the delayed acceleration? This is almost got to be killed a few times. Have it scheduled to take into the dealer next week.
What about the gdi engine are they problematic? Does anybody know?
I have a 2017 base model and is currently in the shop. Definitely sounds like I have that acceleration issue. Hoping it's a minor fix and/or covered under warranty! (i'm at 93000 miles)
Bro are you located in los angeles I need mad help with my tucson
If these are really the top 5 problems reported... that's not bad.
@@AndyPlaysGames That's the exact same thing with mine as well! 😩
@@shannoninalaska Ughh it's so frustrating!! Clearly it's a common issue for owners of these particular models, something definitely needs to be done.
Take it to a 3rd party mechanic shop to get a full diagnosis you will have to pay out of pocket but it will be worth it.
What dealerships try to do is patch whatever they can to save money even if its covered under warranty. The last thing you want is your engine stalling after your coverage is up.
My 2018 is great but the P0456 code has popped up and I’m trying to solve that one
(Very small exhaust leak)
I have a 2017 fully loaded but no AWD . Should I b concerned about the 7 speed DCT , the panoramic sunroof, or any electronics. It has 45K mostly highway driving mi on it at lease end when I bought it .thank you
No you're good. Just drive it as you would a manual transmission car DONT FEATHER THE BRAKES
My 2018 hatch opens correctly then closes about a foot. Why?
My 2021 Hyundai Kona has been at Reliable Hyundai (Springfield MO) for 10 months now! 8,000 miles and it has had 2 failed transmissions and they are putting in the third one! This has been a nightmare. Dealership is a joke. Hyundai corporate is a joke. Go see for your self. It’s next to the service car wash. It’s the dark grey color. They have lied and lied about the repair or lack there of. I regret getting a Hyundai.
My biggest regret is getting a Hyundai
I had my transmission replaced in my 2017 Hyundai Tucson shortly after buying it with less than 25k miles or so. Problems with acceleration from speed position can't be fixed. Taken to 3 different dealerships with no resolution.
Can you do any videos on the 2nd generation Tucson I can’t find many for my car like I changed the ac hi side pressure switch can’t find the low side switch 🙏

I have tucson 2019 I notice high temperature in transmission what is the main reason .

If you have a DCT transmission or dual-clutch, don't feather the brakes the brakes act like an electronic clutch and just driving up car ramps I caused that overheat light to come on by constantly Feathering the brakes
Im glad started straight to the point
My 2018 Limited has had the radio glitch and the acceleration glitch. The acceleration has been laggy since day one though.
My Hyundai has been sitting in my driveway for like a month now. I'm terrified to drive it. Acceleration is incredibly laggy.
i've changed a lot and still have the same problem i have a 2010 Tucson and i changed out relays , ac pressure hi side switch the ac fan came on when i start the car and it stays on until i turn car off so i'm going to change the thermisstor i did check the fuses nothing there i did recharge it and it worked 3 wks now it blows but not cold and the clutch does not kick on and i disconnected the battery and hooked back up now the fan don't come on i can't find the lo side pressure switch i'm not sure i have 2 anyway any info on that would help before i buy a compressor the whole time i had the car i only used air when i had passengers thanks in advance
Thanks looking at the 185HP 2.0 ATM, The reboot idea I might try for a problem on my current car.
Actually it is the only one which run perfectly that long, I am talking here comparing it to other models I used as new, like Toyota CR-H or VW Tiguan.
My Tucson is a 2018 2.0L Crdi it has about 140k Kms it’s been so reliable but now it makes a weird noise in the engine i think it’s The tensioner i don’t know 🤷♂️
I have extended warranty on my Tucson, will I be covered for ac sensor?
+Mj Thanks for watching! You will want to contact your dealer or the warranty underwriter for that sort of info.
oil problems around 70.000kms 2017 new engine they will give you check vin number
I had a recall to a engine replacement… waiting from 1 month and still waiting…
……I have Tucson 2019, 33/K miles, suspension complete is hard, with only 1/4”, diferent level driving on the street , fall to hard without any suspension, I’m trying to find reviews about the suspensios with Hyundai Tucson 2019, but still without information o comolaints
if any one have someting to tell me osbout this big problem..pls thks
I have this delay on my new i30 and its getting worse... The dealership just plugged the obd scanner and said there is nothing wrong...
I’ll try the hard reset, my speaker is not working when using bluetooth on phone. Thank you!
+Heidi Ibale Thanks for the feedback!
My 2017 tucson diesel engine jerks when you taking off. it happens a lot in traffic situations but runs smoothly on the highway. So far there are no lights on the dashboard no codes from diagnosis. what could be the problem?
The problem your having is a software problem that controls the transmission and your vehicle has a recall to fix it.
I have a 2020 Tucson. And it has been great not one issue at all. Thanks for the videos.
It's brand new ..
@@nickr3441 Exactly.. Hope he doesn't park it in a garage.
I have a 2019 which I purchased around November of 2018,
I use it a lot, so far it has 45K miles on it. That was about 20K a year, it’s been good so far. Only got 1 check engine light which is the P0420 code
Dont hold the car from rolling with the accelerator, use your brakes.
what about 2014 models?
2.0L petrol 2WD, 60km, occurs handbrake malfunctions/EPB failure. It locks the wheel all the time until the lock system motor is changed, which costs around 500 USD.
Are you try different gas octanes?
Make series on Hyundai Tucson 2013!

I can’t find how to replace air conditioner sensor 😢
good day!where can i found the obd2 port of honda civic 1999 sohc
+Jobert Lobrido Thank you for your question. The OBD II port is located under the steering wheel.
I have a 2020 it will be needing tires soon any recommendations?
Nokia WR4 www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/nokian-tire-wr-g4-suv/p/39876 I like really aggressive all season since it rains a lot, and snow occasionally.
2018/ 1.6T/ DCT- I have 80,000 hard miles on mine driving it like an idiot with sport mode. Not once have I had any serious concerns. Just regular oil change and transmission flush maintenance
I just got mines 2018 22000 miles on it rides smooth when do you usually change the oil
J'ai une voiture tucson en 2013 et elle tombe en panne quand je marche et elle s'arrête d'un coup
Great video!
I'm having a problem with my front passenger door not opening from the outside. You gotta open it from the inside first, then you can open it from outside. But once you lock it and unlock it again you can't open it from the outside again. I've taken the door panel off and tried lubricating stuff but nothing has worked.
I had the same problem and had to have it repaired.
Buena informacion.
Wait I've heard some crazy story about transmission failure on the 2016-17 model
This car is a death trap. We bought brand new and regretted it. We traded it in for a Toyota and lost alot of money.
@@rednosepitter wow you're not the only saying this i was about to buy one because the styling is really nice but i finally took a cx5 2014
@@mooauto2388 I would never buy this or recommend. We bought new thinking we wouldn't have any issues. It was in the shop three times and everytime hyundai didn't do anything. Twice my family and I almost got into an accident due to loss of of power when turning left at a light. Couldn't put my family in danger anymore. Screw hyundai I'll never give them my money again.
We've got a 16 Tucson and 17 Spotage over a year now, no problems. Recalls, yes, but no problems.
@@rednosepitter that's for sure I gave up on that idea I recently bought a sportage 17 manual that thing drinks fuel like crazy
