    This review says it all. This is not just a car you buy. This is a vision you buy into. What car do you want ? Track drifter ? GT ? Anything in between ? This is it. This is a drivers pony car to die for. In 50 years time this car will be a legend. If the base stats put you off then you just don't get it.

      Ofc someone who vapes would think a wrx is "much" better than a brz... smh. It's actually the opposite, the BRZ is MUCH better than the WRX in every single way possible (aside from acceleration).

    I have always owned Audi or Corvettes. This is one of my few non Audi/Corvette cars and I have fallen in love with it. I bought the BRZ Limited with the Performance Package. My insurance dropped by $200/month as well. The BRZ cockpit is absolutely amazing. I am used to my RS6, S4 or Z06 so I thought I would miss that power but I don't. I think it has actually made me a better driver. The BRZ handles like a fighter jet. I do think I may add a turbo and tune to it but that's just me. Most people never mod their BRZ and you really don't need to. I think the most you really need are headers and a tune.

    Info:
    I Live in Norway, and have the GT86.There is no need for "heated seats", even when there is -9 to -12 Celsius in the winter.
    Its good and warm without heated seats. No need whatsoever.
    The only problem this car have, its not that much of a problem, but the window can freeze and not reset properly after a 5-13 min drive / -9-12 Celsius. Basically you need to move your window up and down, until it can reset by itself.
    This car gives you the most fun, for your average work drives and long drive trips.

    Are you in Texas? The Austin area would be great for that car. Try Ranch Road 12!
    Did the motorcyclist pass you on the right? Or were you doing the Texas thing of lolly-gagging in the fast lane?

    Call me an stupid (if you like), but does this come in automatic? After being a delivery driver/in a mini-truck, I got tired of shifting at every stop sign. *My last car was a '87 300zx 2+2. I prefer to "cruise" and have no one to race or impress. The body style of BRZ reminds me of a 280z - anyone agree?

    UNFORTUNATELY, the sales are very low now because people are awaiting a new body style and MORE HP! They are selling currently on HYPE only not demand per reported numbers and SUBARU said its just a seasonal low! RIGHT! People want more and SUBARU knows that! EXPECT a 300-400HP option in 2018! VW learned the hard way and now standard has a 300 HP R VW! ALTHOUGH, its nice as is:)

    • @SoulCharter
      @SoulCharter 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike Smith I hope and believe that a higher HP version of the car will never be released. This car isn't about a number that makes you look cooler in drag races. Its about the handling, weight, and excellent engineering. Adding a turbo is an easy cheap trick. Getting 100hp per liter on a frame that's under 3k LBS, thats fucking awesome. That is the numbers that Subaru does and should care about.

    • @DanielSparten
      @DanielSparten 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hopefully an STI version will come out. But if they do make a STI version, it might have to fall under the WRX horsepower figure because they don't want to make it overpower the WRX. But in a New York auto show, they showcased another STI BRZ concept featuring an engine of a Super GT BRZ that comes in about 350 hp. So cross our fingers and hope they do make an STI version.

    • @brettlarson912
      @brettlarson912 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no way in hell they will make a 300-400hp version of this car. This car is supposed to be a blank canvas N/A. Maximum hp version we’ll ever see won’t exceed 250-280. Personally I doubt we’ll even see one that breaks 250.

SEXY and APPEAL is in my opinion a 9 out of ten comparing to PORSCHE and the likes for less than a 1/4 the cost! LOOKS kills and the BRZ/FRS delivers there- THANK you SUBARU, now just bring the HP to 400HP!

  • @joshuaochoa9825
    @joshuaochoa9825 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Haha none of your reasons changed my mind. I cant deny the car looks nice with its body design.
    1. The interior is SH!T looks cheap. can't argue with me on that by saying oh everything is easy to find. You dont buy a car becaue it was easier then the vette to find the vol button, it doesnt even take that long to get use to them.
    2. HP that says it all
    3. For that price other competitors come with better options.
    4. After all is your money and everyone has different taste.
    Also i'm not sure why'd you compared this car to audi and mecedez obviously they're not in the same category. Is like comparing a rock to a diamond ALTHOUGH they're both rocks you can tell what is different.

    • @TexasRevving
      @TexasRevving  8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      The interior is simple. There are other cars that look more appealing, but are really cheap plastic a crappy buttons. The BRZ has a simple and spacious interior that I've grown to love. HP does not "say it all" unless all you do is read off spec sheets and never actually drive, and the reason I mention the German brands is because of the options. German brands have options for a ton more money that come standard on the BRZ Limited package. I'm not comparing the BRZ to Audi and Mercedes for build quality or performance, I'm comparing the window stickers. Watch the video... I say the BRZ's base price is never far off from the actual invoice. While German brands can vary another $10-25K+ End of the day, I'm not Subaru sales rep. Wether you buy a BRZ or not does not affect me.
