Thank you for uploading and sharing this fun funky full set, so many decades of ace music and memories. 🥰 I appreciate you held your gear steady without the need for many zooms in and out, cheers. 👍
Sitting here in Shirley with Soton docks in view I wonder how I missed this. They are IoW boys too. Is that Mike Lindup - sounds just like him. Great show 😊
Mike and Mark are the only original members there, but Nathan King and Pete Ray Biggin (the drummer) really do them justice with the Gould brothers there.
I loved the person in the yellow jacket at the side of the stage who obvs has seen this set many times but still going for it, they are my kinda person at a Level gig!!!
I watched Level 42 live in 1981, and I remember it so well. Mark King and his Jaydee bass were unforgettable-full of power and energy, and what a sound! Mark King has aged, and his performances now feel a bit like Joe Biden’s movements-everything is more mechanical-but the music is still very cool.
K BUENOS !! Veo k la banda d Mark King y los hermanos Gould siguenn en plena formaa . Ace muchoss añoss k no pasan x Barcelona desgraciadamente😥.... Graciass x acercarnoslos...👍🎼🤩
I live in Edinburgh have been a fan for 40years can’t but a single ticket for their concert in Edinburgh next September because it’s only 1 ticket ❤️ broken xxx
i've been fancying for the last forty years how can he play such hard bass lines while singing...i'm a sixty years old bass player, and not that miserable all considered, but his magic is still a no-go to me!
I'm going, they're ace live. If you do go and you don't know they're early stuff it'll be worth a good listen as they always play half a dozen tracks at least from that era.
@@paulwally9007 enjoy it if you do get a ticket, they're there 29/11 and 30/11. Not sure if tickets sold out or not but I think it's their only indoor gigs in the UK this year so I guess they might be popular.
I LOVE Level 42, but I can't tell if Mark has lost his singing voice or if he just needed more practice before the show. Mike Lindup sounded great. I know it'll never happen, but I would love to see them in the US
@@mattrichardson3706 No, you don’t say? Phone or not, we are talking about the poor source, not what it was recorded on! But thanks anyway Brains-of-Britain 🔔🔚
Man the sound isn't very good ... its not the device, the band just isn't as tight as it was when they didn't have the horn section and these guys are my favourite band, there just isn't any space in the live performances.

Best Bass-voice performer ever in modern music
Thanks for posting this, much appreciated.
Fantastic again Level 42 for ever great band.
Согласен 🤘🏻🎸😊🥂

I was lucky to see them in 87 and 89
that hot water ending jam was crazy :)

I don't know what the hell he did to that Jaydee, but it sounds better than ever in my opinion.
If only vocals sounded the same good 😕
They're doing two gigs at the Indigo O2 in November. Might have to get myself a ticket.

@@66Trips That's my favourite stuff -the really fusiony songs.
@@paulwally9007 cool, me too, I even wore a new t shirt on Saturday saying just that. 🤣 Full tour should be next year, festivals this year.
@@66Trips I'll probably be out of the country next year, so Indigo is my only opportunity to see them after Let's Rock.

Still going strong, good on 'em.
RIP Boon Gould, Alan Murphy and Allan Holdsworth.
Necesito que vengan a Argentina. Amo Level 42 desde que era chico y nunca pude ir a ningún concierto.

Sound could be better but it's OK. Thank you for sharing.
I thought the sound was dreadful. Mic levels were all over the place!
Big up Mark.

something's not right, I think technical
@@richardclarke376 I dony know. I wish and hope it was technical. If they do more shows, we'll know. I pray that his voice comes back
@@privatemale2147 the sound overall was terrible. Like you I hope he's ok. Fan for 42 years!

mark kings mic is just not there
Mark King is king!!!!!
Gracias x el dato compañero😅👍
Good band shame about lead vocal mic.
Shocking
Nice show, too bad the sound is so distorted
Joys of phone filming
Sound quality was diabolical!
My God who was the sound engineer at this gig???
Its filmed on a phone!! The tiny mic is distorting
It was awful wasn’t it?…Somebody couldn’t keep the levels steady!
@@jmw0368 ITS A BLOODY PHONE!!!!!

@@jmw0368 how do you know it was a poor source???
Was waiting for the huge bass bangs at the beginning of this song.
Still waiting and waiting. 😢
I think the sound guy has too much treble on this.
Recorded on a phone and probably listening on a phone. How much bass can you honestly expect?
Not good filming on a phone doesn't do the sound justice
Needs to be professionally filmed😉
And that costs the band money! This person has taken the time to film for others, I say fair play to them!

Trust Southampton to mess up the sound ..
Der Mann am Mischpult hatte wohl keinen Bock auf seinen Job.
Rock?
Audio pessimo
What a waste. Should not be allowed.
Crap sound. Zero joy
Mark King sounds like an old frog. Voice going.... level 42 not the same.😢
He's 66 years old, for god's sake. Calm down.
Don't like it, scroll on....
......he's 65 and hasn't tuned down any songs like other aging singers,.....enjoy what time we have left with the band.
You're a bit too picky don't you think. That wasn't nice.
Rubbish
