So much maturity at this age. Not overplaying or getting carried away. Precise in what he had to deliver. You're awesome man! Wish you a blessed career! Stay humble.
Yep. What a great kid. His folks and family must be super chuffed. He's a class act but his genuine humility is the gift here. I love how the other guitarist encourage him.
They just gave a memory to this boy that is once in a lifetime!👏🫶
Wow! Just…..Wow! Happy the band gave young Jake a chance to play. This would be a moment he’ll always remember & cherish.
Shock, amazement, and heartfelt love for the band for giving Jake the chance to live his dream. Hats off to you.
So nice, all of you. I was teary, you gave this young man the confidence of a lifetime. As a mother, I applaud you. Thank you! Wonderful!
I was tearing up too!! I💕
Yes. Heartfelt thanks to the band for noticing him, believing what he said & inviting him to play.
#dreamsdocometrue
That kid had confidence before he ever stepped on that stage
Bravo Jake!! Well done to the Band for allowing him an opportunity to shine AND to include him like you did.
Agreed❤
The best act
Pure natural talent 🙌🙌🙌
"Allowing" him? Surely they were PAID for this. The "spare guitar" they handed him was HIS guitar. You can see it in his earlier videos!
As long as there are kids like him on this world we should have no fear that Rock will ever die. What an awesome performance.
This kid is beyond amazing . He never missed a chord ! I hope to see him in his own band soon!! Kudos to the parents also who let him pursue his dream . I am speechless Jake . You rock!!❤❤
Hundreds of practice hours ❤
Haven't you noticed he winds it up from one of Eric Johnson's. Kid blew my mind...
And after that, he got bragging rights and an inside chance with any girl in that audience.
Well done Jake & the rest of the band for letting him have his own time and also join in with him …🎉
Seriously blown away, wow just wow, and respect to the band for giving him his moment in the sun, but don’t think we’ve seen the last of that young man 😊
SO nice of the band to give this boy such a lovely moment in life that never will be forgotten!!
7:32 the way he looks back at his guitar player is priceless 😂
He wasn't nervous at all. He was great. They gave him a great experience
He was brill but is obv rigged an a set up cmon 😂😂
How special....I'm sure he will always remember this! You made his day very special!!
Absolutely amazing. What a generous gift you gave to that little boy. Thank you and the band for taking a Risk.
Damn! This video gave me chills…That kid CRUUSHHED it! Solo and alll 🎉
Thanks for rocking me out Jake! I enjoyed it. Rock on young man!
Major kudos to Rick and the entire RPJ Band for backing this great young talent onstage during their gig! Way to inspire new musicians for the industry! When I need a major dose of endorphins, I will return to this great video! Thank you, too, for allowing a 10 year old to show the world that great music is ageless! Jake, a LOT of fans are now behind you and look forward to all your future work! Awesome skills!
60 and I'm in tears!! What a change in his life was Just Made!! Thank you
👍to Jake and 👍 to the band 💕💕💕😁. That young man will remember this his whole life.
Seeing young kids learning to play 80's band's music is awesome! Thanks to the band singer for allowing this young man to show his chops! Bravo all the way around!!
Parents influence him for sure..
The future of The Music gets saved and now it looks better in the good hands of the enthusiastic young one fella ❤🧲🔴👊☠️💥
A place in time, everything in the universe was just fine... cheers to Jake and the band. That is as real as it gets.
Kids a guitar hero!!
Great job Jake!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Awsome ❤…. Ty for letting him play with you… He is great and so are you…. Bless you.❤️🙏🏻☮️
That smile will last a decade or more. Awesome job Jake and backing band.
Kiddo don't ever freaking stop play. I expect to see you in concert on day. Thank you for the tears of joy and happiness. It was awesome.
Slash must be so happy to see this. Giving a huge smile and a huge opportunity to the kid is the best thing the band did. This kid will remember this day day for the rest of his life 👍
I was just about to say “do I see a young Slash in the making?” I think so! Well done, young man! Well done!
Yep 👍 when he's 80 years old hel tell this story ☺️👊☝️#!!!
Not mreuo@@Roger-lt9fe
This kid is gonna be a star one day. His shot will be heard around the world.
Slash would have loved to be there.
So kind of the band to let this kid play. Just absolutely amazing prodigy child!! 🤯 At 10... Quite a bright future indeed. 🙌💥
The smiles during the “fiddly bit” made me so happy. Thank you for letting him have this moment. ❤
Wish to thank this Band for paying it back!! I am 71 and still playing.
Never played like this talented young man!! I'll let kids come up if they ask.I owe them because, old guys gave me the same opportunity to see if I measured up.. I also was an O.K. Luthier and have given some guitars away to kids whose parents can't afford to buy. I want to help kids acquire a skill that can be satisfying on so many levels!
I started on Drums, and later became a singing Drummer. Then I discovered Harley Davidsons. Broke 3 bones in my neck.. Learned a bit of guitar while I healed up. Guitar got me started writing bad songs for awhile!! I still play, sing, and write my own music..
I believe music is the best possible gift, other than our children!!
This was absolutely amazing
Hands up to the band for letting him come up on stage
When that boy gets used to hearing himself through the monitor mix he’s going to be an absolute beast on stage. Won’t take long either if things like this keep happening
That was awesome
"Allowing" him? Surely they were PAID for this. The "spare guitar" they handed him was HIS guitar. You can see it in his earlier videos!
Pure talent!!!
Magical playing, well done.
🎶🎶🎸🎸🎸
Someone sign this young man up....
This is the best thing I've seen all week. Restores a little bit of my faith in humanity.
That kid was simply amazing. No words can express the boldness in letting the kid take in one if the legendary song. And he absolutely nailed it. Hats off to Jake and also the band members for giving him that moment the he will never forget
The Front Man of the band was extremely gracious to allow the kid to rock out with them. Music brings us all together
I don’t know whose more awesome the kid who shredded it or the frontman who gave him a chance to make a memory he’d never forget . What a future Jake got ! 😊
Wow! You just know that the kid spent countless hours practicing to be that good. He is also super talented.
Since he was 5 maybe 😅
If he spent countless hours practicing wouldn't it be considered skill, not talent? Talent indicates that he has a natural ability, while skill would indicate he's spent time developing said ability.
All talent can be honed by practicing
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Keep it up kid. Can’t wait to see you play that guitar like Jimi and the piano like Jerry Lee. We need a whole new generation of REAL MUSICIANS!
Wow!!!! What a terrific performance! Not only can this kid play, but his stage presence is amazing...totally awesome ❤❤❤
I was thinking the same thing, kids a natural....walked forward to front of stage instinctively for solo and back when it was over.....naturally amazing talent.
Props to Jake! Takes bravery and a whole lot of heart to get up and rock the crowd. Cheers to the band for the support. Great video
I just got the chills. This is a perfect example of 'loving your neighbor as yourself.' Well done Sir.
Love the fact they allowed him to shine, great band!!!
Thank you so much for letting him on stage with you. You're not only professionals but good hearted. Love to you and yours.
That child will remember this for the rest of his life. He will tell this story over and over again. Thanks to this wonderful band to let him up on this huge stage and play with accomplished musicians 🫶🤘🎸
Nah... He's not going to be telling anyone about this story. He's gonna show them the video!
The whole thing was planned prior. The “spare guitar” belonged to the kid, watch his previous videos.
@@FlyingCircusAct It's possible but it doesn't take a thing away from the band that shared the stage or that he did what he did.
@@FlyingCircusAct You're that guy who annoys everyone in the movie by constantly saying, "Nah, that wouldn't happen in real life." 😆
@@Papadoc1000 Muahahaha, nah. Just see things as they are. This was a ploy to get this young fella some well deserved attention, it simply wasn’t as spontaneous as portrayed.
I absolutely love when bands let someone on stage and they absolutely show up and show out!! Well done.
The 10 year old Jake plays like an experienced adult.
That was brilliant of you to let Jake on stage to play with you.
You have a beautiful warm kind heart man, all praises of you.
That is incredible 10 yrs old the boy got it made keep up the fantastic work he's going to be a great guitar player i just love it u go boy😊😅❤❤
This kid is bringing me to tears! The pure joy from being on that stage and rocking that guitar as if you've been playing for decades. God Bless!
Same here, I'm crying my eyes out of enjoyment, just wow
Wow
There are adults who will never be able to play that song with the same amount of skill, precision, heart and soul that you did Jake. You have a gift. It's not a talent because this is truly innate....from within...a gift bestowed to you upon your birth. I'm following you now because I know you have an amazing future ahead of you and I want to see you reach your full potential. Just remember, success doesn't come from luck. It comes from hard work, practice and a ton of perseverance and from believing in yourself and your gift. It comes from being humble, not cocky, self assured, not arrogant, and being grateful the Lord blessed you, I can't wait to see all you accomplish. Wishing you the best.
What a class act this lead singer is!!!! I cried watching this whole performance! 5:53
I cried also… amazing talent for a 10 year old…
This kid is talented. I got goosebumps. Thank you for making such an impression on him. What you have done for him could change the course of his life.
