Woodturning - A Simple Gift that a Beginner Can Make!

For this week’s project, I’ll be turning some seam rippers that would make great Christmas Gifts. This is a beginner’s woodturning project that anyone can make. They can also work well as small inventory items at craft fairs.

Excellent work Hodge. I usually just get the actual cutter. Could probably get the plastic handle one like you used cheaper. I like these a lot.

I drill first, then turn to round and complete the turning. Less tail stock shuffling. As an experienced seamstress, I also make some with fat handles for easier use, and some with longer handles for bigger hands. Good job, yours look quite nice.
