I was just about to say the same thing! Whenever a woodturning video switches to slow motion, I've been conditioned to expect a catch / breakthrough / something flying off the lathe!
Very nice! Excellent treatment. Love the figure! The bark has some great woodpecker/sapsucker holes, much like some mystery FOG wood that I recently found at the county park.
Nice bowl, Robert. Were you trying to psych us out with the slo-mo? Enjoy that Bradford Pear wood while you can. A lot of states are banning new plantings (Ohio incuded). Bill
Fantastic piece, Hodge! Absolutely gorgeous!
...'nother beautiful piece...!!!
Matt
Robert, another great piece my friend, well done
That turned out great, Robert! Love that curl!
Beautiful! Thanks 😊
Nicely done, Robert.
Sometimes FOG makes the best bowls. This one is beautiful.
Beautiful bowl Robert.
Good job, Robert.
LOL... whenever you go to slo-mo, I expect the bowl is about to blow up! Thankfully it didn't; it survived and came out beautiful!

I absolutely just love this, thank you for sharing it with us! ❤
Your work is always impress. This is a beautiful design. 😍😍
I love this piece of art, sorry that you couldn't eat it all Harry it sure looks tasty 😘😘💋💋
That slow motion bit gave me so much anxiety! 😂
Okay, that's fricken crazy!!!
Bradford pear is a beautiful wood.
Another great video. Harry sure likes his wood.
Bradford pear turns so nicely doesn’t it! You surprised me keeping the broken edge, but I like it. Like the round bottom too. Great job!
Bradford pear wood is darker than this and the bark is different.

I'm sorry: what is FOG wood?
@@gerardverzaal4666 Found On Ground wood. Mystery wood.
@@calmwoodcreations3709 OF COURSE!! (Thank you for the insight - good to know.)
Lovely work - turned out really nice!
It is a truly fantastic tree. Even the shape is perfect👍👍
So how is that is that piece able to stand on its own?
Would love to see the finished piece. It seems really thin on the edges. Warping and cracking is that a concern?

Beautiful piece! Well done! It can be a bit hairy turning winged bowls, like getting close to a moving propeller!
It's always impressive how big of a cut you take. I'm always scared to get that aggressive.
Woohoo want to see something different check out Richard west woodturing 😲🤤
