Liberation Hall, is the official representatives of the Flamin' Groovies, for certain types of recordings.
this is like "one night stand" album's tour, so underrated, this is pure rock'n roll!!
EXCELENTE AMIGOS¡¡¡¡
Wow, hearing "Over My head" live and a clear shot of Cyril singing. Well done. Where is "Step Up" ?
I agree that this was a great song. I do like Cyril as a singer as well as a great guitarist. Since discovering the Flamin' Groovies about five years ago or so, I've held the firm opinion that this is by far the greatest band I know of who "never made it". I only had to hear "Shake Some Action" a few times before I paused and thought, "You know....this is really good". And when I dug deeper into their recordings I was certainly not disappointed. Just the opposite.
Now this video has been up for six years. And it has 41 likes and 4 comments. It's sad. It's tragic just how under-noticed and under-appreciated these guys are.
Groovies Represent. Those who Know. know. GG Allin loved em. Ahahaha
And George Alexander is a competent lead singer? I never knew that. I suppose I might have guessed. There were times on their recordings when I thought I might have heard voices on backup other than Cyril, Roy or Chris.
“Heading’ For The Texas Border” wasn’t that Tim Lynch on vocals?
