Just the way the Groovies reworked "Married Woman" shows they are one of best rock and roll bands in the world. I loved the song so much I hunted down the Frankie Lee Sims version to hear what the original sounded like. So different I almost didn't recognize it.
It´s a mess that the sound quality is so bad. But I love the record "Live At Filmore East" (or Filmore West), where the quality is bad as well. On this old record it´s pure R&R.

What a mess. Skip the first 6 minutes because sod all happens. Then skip the rest because it would be embarrassing if this were an unrehearsed pub band doing their first gig free, but I assume the FGs were actually getting paid for this. Shame.

cyril and george are the only original members on this. chris joined after roy left approx 71 - 72. victor is a new recruit. fantastic drummer.
