As a jazz fusion bass player from the 90's, I really love this newish style of simple, psychedelic grooves. It is the evolution of music how one generation builds it up, the next tears it down and starts over. It's very cool to see.
As a HUGE Khruangbin fan this band resonates with me deeply. Very happy I found them. Instant fan. Hope to see them in the US soon. I could see them touring with Thievery Corporation!
@@BandWagonWS The are VERY similar in all fairness ... Australians think because they are on the other side of the world they can get away with biting people ...
The only thing they really have in common is they're both psych bands but Glass Beams definitely dives deeper into that side with a more world music/middle eastern sound while Khruangbin is definitely more soul/Western-esque (Texas vibes for obvious reasons).
@@BandWagonWSyou’re right, they are totally different. Only a moron would see any similarities, this is a unique and shockingly original product. If anything I bet those kruangbin losers will start sounding like glass beams before we know it
Absolutely mind blown! Phenomenal talent! Was just recently turned on to this band & became an immediate fan here in Ohio (US)! This is why music, creativity, it's all part of art and so important to our minds and selves. Even as simply listening, the feel good vibes are soooo good! ❤😎☮️
Briliant eastern version of a mixture from Can, Neu, Pixies, Galaxie 500 and Mogwai. Pschychedelic funk meets Turkish Anatolian Rock. Masterpiece from India. Hope the few lucky audience had been aware that they had been experiencing a magical concert. Thousand thanks for the uploader, also for the excellent sound quality.

Just stumbled onto these guys. Their talent and instruments are the stars of the show. Super chill groovin'. Love it. Come to the States. I'll be there.
So glad the YT algo picked these guys up for me. Been listening to them a lot over the last few weeks. Gets better and better. Lovely fusion and great vibe.
I really admire the way the drummer incorporates the carillon, especially during the fills. I'm not sure if this is a recognized drumming style, but it's my first encounter with it, and it adds a unique, mysterious atmosphere to the entire song... incredibly creative!
Your music reminds me of Istanbul, a city I am deeply in love with. When I listen to it with my eyes closed, I feel like I'm wandering through the streets of Istanbul, from its ghettos to its luxurious neighborhoods.
Thank you PBS 106.7FM for this video, I am so glad to know that great music still exists! Great sound and vibes! Best of luck and I hope to see them live in Los Angeles sometime!

Beautiful, hypnotic, haunting. Ancient and futuristic - music to live by. Thank you Glass Beams.

I would change word futuristic with retro, that's why so many feel at home listening to Glass Beams. 😊✌️🥰

Khruangbin but without the virtuoso guitarist
