@@duycuonghuynh4841 lmaoooo yeah that was a good prank from neowiz, i was losing my temper because of the runback to this clown. If only i know the stargazer is behind him i would run past him to the stargazer first.
@@labidcremation damn the boss are pretty easy imo. My strat is run pass him at the gates, make sure to dogde his red attack or just use Angis, the wait for him to come at the corner and do a fable art to get some free dmg. Then when you're at the Stargazer area just run around the pool and throw things at him. Then when fighting, only the belly attack got me frustrated because my slow ass input can't get that right timing to parried it, but the other attacks kinda easy to perfect parry. Then just aim for the fatal, don't be too greedy. Only took me six time to defeat him 😆
Just run past this at the end of the path. Climb the stairs. There is stargazer right behind the clown. You can then rest and call him on the area with the stargazer. If u die you can just come back and fight him without dealing with others.
Don’t know if anyone is viewing this 11 months later, and this is a great technique to avoid damage but! if for some reason you’re struggling with this mini boss and his attacks I will tell you have I cheesed it: First, as annoying as it was, I ran past all of them, including the clown to get to the opera house stargazer. After that I let clown boy kill me cause it didn’t matter. Then I took about 15-20ish minutes to “grind” for 8000 ergo, then I go to the wandering merchant in the Malum district. Proceed to buy 5 (at least that was my carrying capacity at the time) of every decent throwable; The cluster grenades, throwing cells, thermite, and body fluid. Equip all of these, then return to the Opera house stargazer and go down the steps to grab big boy’s attention. Run back up the steps and get some distance. Lock on to the SOB and throw everything you have at him. I was able to kill him without taking damage, and i got around 6000 ergo back so I’ll consider that as my efforts not being wasted. I hope this helps anyone else who is playing for the story, and not fighting bosses 20 times :))
It’s funny because this is exactly what I did 😂. I ran past him to the opera house stargazer, fought him a couple of times but didn’t feel like learning his moves (always got him down to maybe 40% health) and decided to just cheese him with throwables. I only used the sword for critical attacks.
lol this is great! I was only using the throwing cells so limited to 5 but I totally didn’t even think about just using other ones since 5 of each is the capacity!!!!! Thank you!!!!!
I don't think it's near as bad as some Souls games. I don't really notice it that much in this game but like in all of Dark Souls games enemies will literally use their lunge or fastest attack as soon as you try to heal every time.
Damn the cheese is real 😂 I lost like 20 times before I decided to run past him to the stargazer. Lost another damn near 20 times before I realized how good I am in Sekiro. I had to fight him the same way that I fought on Sekiro. Stay in his face perfect guard, and counter him leaving him staggered often to land charged attacks. The most important part was watching your stamina because as soon as it's gone he will eat over half of health in two strikes.
I had a feeling this stairway would be handy for something. I haven't actually tried to fight him yet I just went around the corner and the boss health bar came up ad I knew it was my opportunity
I ran past him and lured him to the backside where the stargazer is on my 7th try. The flail was an easy read for me to perfect block which eventually staggers him. His spin attack is blockable too. Was able to stagger him 3 times then finish him off with the special from the seven coil spring sword from a distance. Bs boss
I hate his red attacks - if you're at a certain distaince, he would punch twice and you can't dodge those attacks instead of throwing the flail so you gotta be careful about that
I actually fought him head-to-head and learn his combos, usually if you perfect guard his red(heavy) attacks he will get groggy and timing them wasn't so difficult. Perfect guarding was how I got him in the end. I see this way working as well. I'm glad it worked out for you. It took me a number of attempts until I finally got him.
I bet it was way more satisfying as well. Nothing better than to finally beat an annoying boss that you died numerous times too. I always make a fist, and yea "hell yea" followed by an explicit word when I finally beat a difficult boss 😂
Same for me but I dodged his attacks and when it came to the red ones I simply ran away as the chain hand can only go straight so if ur running he can’t get you with it
Thank you for the video, I am going to try him more face to face, and learn his move and try to perfect guard him.. So far for me pretty difficult one, this one 😅 I will let you know if I defeated him face on. Or if I just your tactic.. first I have to die 30more times or so with this one before I try it out.. Always nice to have a backup plan incase it takes forever and ever 😆
at 2:08 you can see street lamp and concrete island (or hows that thing called), you can easily cheese him around it. just hide and land strong attacks
This was really nice! I'll have to try this, but I'm going to maybe use my thermites and those shock bombs first just to make nice amount dmg😁 let's see what happens!
I guess you can cheese it,it’s my first souls like game and I learn perfect Parry on this one and I’m sure it’s gonna be rewarding later on in the game for the hardest boss!
Didn't quite work for me cause I'm a greatsword user but it's a great location to cheese nonetheless, there's a flower bed just behind this at the top and cause the boss is to fat he cant squeeze past which is how I took him done.
I cheesed it another way I kited the clown puppet to that corner where it tends to de-aggro. Whenever it started walking back up the hill, I chucked my thermites/throwing cells/carcass fluids at it 😂😂 it died after I threw all 15 throwables + 2 cluster grenades (but you can probably use falcon eyes legion arm and save your cluster grenades)
Still works in August 2024. But i found he came right up to the top. Instead of cheesing at the railing i moved to the island at the top and kited him around. If you get him to the far side of the island in between the rail, he will nit be able to move past. This allows you to just back up every time he attacks, then dash in for a hit or two. About 3 or 4 min later he is dead. Not a scratch! Who is laughing now clown!?
Lol I wanted to see how yall figured this boss at. I thought I had discovered something. I beat him in a similar manner. I kept spamming him in a different corner. Just wait until would walk back and got two hits Rinse and repeat until he died. Boss fight took a while
This game has the worst dodging mechanics ever put into a Souls Like. No invincibility frames and enemies bs and change up their combos sometimes. And there's a large delay between dodging to sprinting or heavy attack to sprinting. So you can't even dodge or sprint away if the clown does the spin combo, which moves faster than you can walk/sprint.
Yo id recommend just trying to learn how to parry some of his attacks. Sure he'll beat you down a couple times but at least you'll learn his pattern. It took me 4 attempts to beat him.
I figured him out in my game, He can’t hit you with many of his attacks if you’re moving to his right. So yeah go left and parry guard on the spin combo he does I got 2 staggers and used electricity weapon
I spent 3 hours beating this clown, he made me wonder maybe i am the clown in this game.
😂😂😂
same here, finnally beating this damn clown. and then i realize the stargazer was behind him all along

Most bs boss in the game. He literally read your inputs and will do one last attack if you attack.
