- On the day we filmed the Renault 5 C20LET Turbo Shane brought along with him Uncle Sean and his lightweight K-Series Swapped Mini Clubman on a Rover Metro Chassis and what a little car this is.

This is one of my favourite channels, the cars you have on are ace, so many dream of the polished engine bays and 100k builds, but this stuff is brilliant this mini, the R5 Turbo real world cars that are probably 10X more fun than a Ferrari. Please don't change a thing about this channel as you grow, you film in a real world way, the cars are real world, the owners are real world, you guys are real world this channel is spot on 💪
We won’t change, we not into supercars so we will continue filming stuff that has been built in peoples garages & sheds at home. You will see the return of the RB Beetle & another bonkers thing built in his garage at home but a noo Miss video

When I was young,,, my "dream car" was a 1275 gt,, (clubman),, 😮.
as my 2nd car, at the tender age of 19 was an ex hillclimb, highly modified, (and slightly clapped out,) 1071 Cooper S,,, the dreams of a 1275 gt, were soon forgotten,, in favour of the best car I've ever owned ,,, 🤙🤙🤙
(boy, was that insurance expensive, 😭😂🤣.)

@@MotorAddicts definitely 😬. It’s only a 1275 but highly tuned with a few carbon panels and alloy doors with fresh a paint job, Won’t be as quick at Mateys k series but it’s still a great fun car to drive
One of my mates, Paul Morris (RIP) Bro! Had a Mini with 1275 engine but he added a Weber DCOE 40 on it. He had to cut out the bulkhead for it to breathe, basically the trumpets were behind the speedo!
It was mental off the line, beat my BMW 323I Alpina to 60 easy lol

I had a 997cc mini in my youth and that was felt silly fast.
Can't imagine this thing. It is just a go-kart and the drive like one.
I can't remember my speedo spinning fully around on mine, the faster you went the faster it spun, at 50mph it was like a food blender blade. Great times.

Another interesting build , Owens turbo giggles . The Motor Addicts recipe , great vid again lads . I used to avoid k series like the plague . Spend more time fixing head gasket issues than driving . Brave man !!

We thought the same, as stops a bit of the wheel spin and takes account the weight as well. Especially when you see the Renault 5 is 0.4 seconds of being as fast as a 750bhp awd Porsche

Funny thing we did at beverly collage was put a jag v12 in a mini pickup, it was running great but the collage wouldnt allow it on the road or even take an MOT.

I had a 1275GT and scrapped it for £50, two years later just the shells were at least £500 lol then they seemed to double every few years and now just a decent clubman shell is mega money for a Mini.

My mini has non turbo version 1.8k and is great 👍🏻

My mini real world on 12" Yoko street tyres does 6.0 sec from 0-60mph. Great video 👍🏻

The old mini's with big engine's are rapid , I've seen the z body mini's close up before and they are literally a bit of tubing with a fiberglass shell most have a k20a2 rear mounted , should see if you can get a ride in one as a comparison lads the way Owen was cramped in that mini 🤣🤣you ain't built for them son ....more fitting in a Granada 🤣🤣 🤙
We have done 2 rear mounted mini’s, 1 k20 n/a and a k20 turbo. Go check them out 🤙🏻
