We catch up with @EVILGT Ben at his unit as we are getting probably the most craziest cars we have ever had on the channel, a Hayabusa Powered Piaggio Ape or as peaople will say Tuk Tuk.
Knowing Ben, he is one of the worst passengers we know along side owen who is also not a good passenger, we though we would send them both out in this Superbike Engine Swapped 3 wheeler, which is capable of going over 150mph.

I'm Italian and still have my grandpa's 1981 Ape P601 in the original "mustard-yellow" colour, actually a little faded by decades of sun! It runs a 220 cc 2-stroke engine. With the proper maintenance it still rides brilliantly up and down in the Alps!
The only problem is that you reach at most ~75 km/h, downhill, fully loaded and in fourth gear (since it has the handlebar you need to pray you won't hit a pothole 😅) and in other conditions you create queue and, as we are used in Italy, everyone behind starts overtaking in crazy ways with insane accelerations and long horn soundings. With the horses of the Ape in this video I wouldn't have such problems for sure 💪🏻 As passionate of these veichels I think this powerful-blue-Ape is simply insane and exciting, something I'd love to see and "hear" but...not sure I want to try it...deep down it is a three-wheels-coffin tailored for two 😂😂

I'm from India. This one is 'Pick Up Auto Rickshaw' used by small vegetable vendors or small businessman to move goods within city. It's top speed in stock is 32 MPH.
But you guys swapped the engine with mods to Hayabusa and made it completely insane superfast! 🤣

On a bike the rider tends to go up and over whatever they hit. In this, when a car pulls out you're just going to smack into it and all that weight behind will sandwich you into it even further. They might be able to identify you from your dental records if you're lucky.

One can not fathom what a dangerous ordeal this must have been (a stock one easily rolls and loves italian potholes, can't imagine a hayabusa swap)
I was feeling dull, exhausted and irritated and saw this video by chance.
As the video progressed, I had my adrenaline pumped up, laughing my heart out on seeing the expressions of the guys. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 😂😂😂😂. 👍👍👍👍.

You guys are mental- I’ve driven a standard Piaggio Calessino 200 ape thousands of miles around Italy and with the standard engine it’s a tip over bad handling death trap on the roads (all it lacked was more torque for hills) so I can only imagine how hairy this is to drive especially if you have to turn 🤣 but absolutely love it! 😂
Starred as presenter in Max Power videos that were free on the cover ON VHS! Worked for years for Fast Car mag but this had me weeping with laughter and lost in admiration for the quality of the tightrope walked!

It's not that much faster than u see here. The diff or sprockets they use in this doesn't allow it to go faster it's the torque you want with this. Topspeed does t matter ur fast anyway. But the torque is what makes it I sane. These thing normally do 60km/h Top that means u went through all 3 gears wind in the back open road. And u Def don't like that. It wobbles like crazy. Now doing 4* that. With better setup oke. But still that's mind blowing scarry. That front-wheel tire is what keeps u alive haha. Better not be made I. China
The fisheye cam inside really makes the whole thing a bit funnier watching the reactions. Looks like everyone had a blast.

That's so insanely wonderful, the hayabusa engine sound with akrapovic exhaust is music to my ears and the way this 3 wheeler speeds and handles and brakes is just phenomenal bcoz power to weight ratio is way way way higher ❤❤

No, keep it as it is,add the turbo and a front disc brake set up.
With a cage and seats it would give you a false sense of security, and then you push it into/ out of bends and you end up in a wheel chair for the rest of your life.
Atleast like this ,in a big " incident" you are going through the pearly gates on fire and backwards with a smile on your face, rather than being pushed into the old people's rest home having your bum wiped.

That is ace, quite a few years ago after a Bike club meeting I was seen off by a smart car getting on the M66 at Bury heading towards Manchester, I was gutted that a smart car had out accelerated me until I learnt of the Smart car with the Hyabusa engine in it.

I see a very practical use for this. A lot of times, in the summer when I go grocery shopping, my ice cream is partially melted by the time I get home. This would alleviate that problem.
If given the chance, I'd daily it. I would have to build out a full front end though. I would want that 4th wheel just for the vehicles safety. Would be super cool to have a center-able steering and seating arrangement for when you want to do some solo rips.
I would put a Valkyrie Rune front fork and tire setup, and brakes on it. I believe that would be Stoute enough. I would also put a mx3 rear end with disc brakes on it. Then supercharger on that busa motor!
But in Britain, your Road tax for a Three Wheeler is lower than a Four Wheel CAR, and that is why they were used so widely.
