I told a Navy Chief Corpsman that a piece of equipment electrocuted me, and he corrected me. He said, "If you get electrocuted by something, you can't tell anyone about it because you are no longer living. You were, however, shocked by it."

I used to have an old honda 70 three wheeler when I was a kid. Some times I'd have to clean the points to ride it. One day after doing so I asked my friend Jason to hold the plug cap and see if it sparked. Of course he said no so I asked him to pull the plug out so we could test it. As soon as he grabbed the plug cap I yanked the pull starter and shocked the trap out of him. My dad almost fell over laughing. This made me think of that
Only my opinion, think magnetos produce very low amps (CURRENT)...but very high voltage (EMF)...high voltage is what allows the jump across an air gap, like the one in a spark plug...
so showing a guy how a mag works , had the plug leads off too show him the brass copper bit inside now we had been spinning it before and before i could stop him he sticks his finger in the hole , oh boy as he screamed and pulled his finger out attached to it was a bright blue lightening bolt , he didnt think it was funny i did though
No joke, only 100mA of current is all it takes to cause ventricular fibrillation, if current flows from one hand to the other, with the heart inbetween and gets that current.
Number 1. Your video was shocking! Number 2. Wy would a grown reasonably intelligent man shock himself? Don't you have kids? Number 3. Lucas was the founding father of blackouts! Number 4. 100 years ago when I was a teenager I had an outboard motor that I ran a wire from the spark plug wire to the mailbox and then I would wait for the mailman who I didn't like because he would always have a creepy remark when he delivered the postcards from my school telling my parents I cut class! After 3 times getting shocked he would just throw the mail inside the gate!
My older brother was working on a triumph he said that i have small fingers could i put my finger in the spark cap and tell him if anything moves at the end When he moves the kick starter. i was gullible so yes" i thought it would be a honor to be finally be asked to help My super Cool brother work on a motorcycle engine. I was about 9 to10 yrs old the following happened KAZZAP ( you basterd) was the reply i gave him. He howled and cryed laughing. He did hit me for my remark when he'd calmed down though after all respect had to be maintained. Big Brothers hey ????
Dude dont do stunts like this again! We don't want to see you die and there is a good chance of it with that much current. Your family, friends, and subs depend on you to be around a lot longer! Please don't do things like this anymore! Thanks!

You need to do that to Shadetree.
Better not, with his physical condition.😂
Oh Man!
That is rough!
How many amps do they produce?
Great Question! Let me dig into my manuals for the answer!
Only my opinion, think magnetos produce very low amps (CURRENT)...but very high voltage (EMF)...high voltage is what allows the jump across an air gap, like the one in a spark plug...
Primaire 3-5 ampère. Over 30 can be deadly.
