It's a labor of love to work on these old engines. I'm long retired, so it's nice to see young pups like you carrying on the tradition! Stay well, and dry roads to you! 👍
I got a couple of small alloy tyre levers that pop that crankshaft pinion right off or enough to get the puller on, easy peasy. Have built a few race engines with those 3 piece cranks, replaced the through bolts with unbrako sleeve bolts and find them a bit tougher than the one piece cranks cause the sludge trap is smaller. Getting hard to find good cranks now and always crack test.👍🇦🇺
1937🤔or maybe 1943🤔.......today it's the celebration of the revolution in france (it was in 1789 ) Peace out ✌ P.s i moved to france in 1993 ......beautiful place to live 👍
do whaa ! , save that crank, you may want a lightened crank in the future and all that 'bashing n' bruising' may get machined off. always think it's weird, obvious yes, that Triumphs are more plentiful, parts more available and everything cheaper than here in the UK where they were built.
