The irony for me is that when I worked for Bicycle Network in Sydney back in 2015-16, I met with the CEO mayor and Executive at City of Campbelltown and talked to them about bike-train-bike and building a local bike network that gets people to and from their train station as well as around town. I guess the idea didn’t really sink in…

How about that Mayor 'imagines' a public transport system? Fewer cars? Lower road speeds?
Budgets for 'roads' .... don't bikes and pedestrians use roads too? Why the false division?
