Don't listen to the haters, Lou. Your journey of self-discovery is provoking fright and fear, often (it seems) from men who perhaps fear the loss of power they hold over women in their circles. You speak of bringing women together, the scourge of period poverty, the power of self love (instead of conforming to the expectations of others) and the healing power of community. I wonder how many of the hateful keyboard warriors have done so much for others. Keep on speaking your truth, and ignore the haters. Much love to you from Havant!

I’m still learning to love myself unconditionally. I do love myself, even though I’m completely blind, and on the autism spectrum. I think the thing I have the most hard of time loving myself, is because I have complex PTSD. And the reason for this is because, other people have had it way worse than me. So they’re the ones who deserve to have that diagnosis of complex trauma. Me on the other hand, just because I went through abuse, bullying, and emotional neglect, doesn’t mean I should be diagnosed with complex PTSD. But, does this mean I can’t learn to love myself, even though I have this diagnosis? Absolutely not! I mean, like I said before. I love myself unconditionally, even though I’m completely blind, and on the spectrum. I just need to remove the mask, and I feel like once I do remove the mask, and allow myself to be my true, authentic self, without the fear of judgment, and without judging myself, so harshly, then, loving myself, unconditionally will be so easy! I just need to find a way to easily remove the mask.
