Matt...one word...PERFECTION! This is the ultimate BMW! Indeed the ultimate car. Nothing comes close! This is an icon. A benchmark that all others will be judged by. Thank You. Something tells me you enjoyed that! Something tells me you would have one in the blink of an eye! Great review, great content. Thank you.
The perfect daily is the M340i touring in my opinion 😊. As much as I love the M3 and have owned a few cars at that level including 2 x Guilia QVs, the M340i is just that bit comfier and costs significantly less to run whilst still being insanely capable and easily faster than the majority of cars on the road. Other opinions are available though!
I ordered a m3 comp xdrive as a daily and have 2 little kids! Bmw pays for the maintenance for the first 36.000miles and 3 years. 850$ extended the maintenance plan to 60months and 75.000miles.
As someone who owns a M3 Touring I understand your opinion, but as BMW do not sell the M340i Touring in my country any more I had no choice. I have not regretted buying the M3 for a second, but had I the option to get a M340i Touring I might have hesitated.
I currently have a 2022 Macan GTS and been looking at whether to change for a m3 touring for a while just think the prices are softening a lot with big stock levels at dealers, great review
Really like your reviews. Woujd you say it’s a better daily than a Macan GTS, lucky enough to have a gt3 touring so purely day to day driving and commute
Thank you@@ghowells5433 I would say it is a close call between the two. Both will do a very similar job to a very high standard. And what a fantastic machine the GT3 Touring is! Very jealous.
@@ghowells5433 congratulations great spec!...what are your thoughts on the touring?? Thinking of swapping my cayman GTS in and now these are looking great at circa 70k!
i currently have a new f-pace svr which I’ll be keeping long term as it has a remarkably good ride for a 2T sporty suv on steel springs, ime British cars just seem to ride well on our roads because they are so similar. I’ve owned an f80 comp in past and the chassis on that car was horrible for both ride and nvh. I test drove a g82 m4 on the oe MP4s and thought it was a big step on from f80 in terms of sorting the nvh from the solid rear subframe. I’ve got a g81 touring on order atm, and from what I can gather the touring has the most compliant shock setup of the 4 body styles. Just like on my f80, tyre choice is crucial. The yokohama’s bmw spec for that 20/21 m perf wheel are very track oriented. They’d be much more compliant with the latest conti sport contact 7
When you say it's the perfect everyday car I don't think it is a perfect everyday car for everybody.....that would be the 320d Touring or the 330e Touring in my opinion. Not everyone can afford the running costs of the M3 Touring let alone the initial purchase price. Though I found the vid entertaining. Perhaps the perfect performance car...in touring form 😊
Brilliant all rounder if you can afford such a fine thing. Owners should remember driving them like a maniacs and jumping red lights while people are crossing isn't cool and not a prerequisite of ownership
M340 is not that fast, its brakes are also weaker. It is fast enough i will say but not so fast until people will avoid u on the roads…. But M3 competition, better don’t try anything funny with it😂..

Thanks Keith,
It really is a fantastic car!
Thank you for your continued support,

Those rims with this black color is just stunning
Totally agree!

I wish they made one in manual
I went the m3T. Always wanted a performance car/wagon and it’s simply phenomenal
What was your opinion of the Giulia QV? I was thinking of getting one.
This is my dream car BMW
Great car , Great review 👌
Thanks! 👍

Just purchased one today, sapphire. Lack, ultimate pack with m pro pack so ceramics. Stunning, can’t wait

Very interested to hear your thoughts on the ride quality with those m performance 20/21” wheels. UK roads are very similar to our AUS roads
The ride is absolute dog shit - I just ordered a x5m60i as my m4 is totally undrivable on UK roads
I have a Macan GTS which rides really well on our knackered I am guessing you would suggest trading in for the m3 touring then

What happened with Rybrook or whatever the name was?
Rybrook has become part of Sytner Group.
@@SytnerTV thanks for the answer. SUCCESS in this new endeavor
@@cvillalobos27 Thank you :)
No mid V exhaust ?
That is the optional M Performance exhaust.

It is the perfect performance car that can do everything 👍🏼
Wonderful thank you but why do the roads and streets in the United kingdom smell of wee

I own touring 320d and I will upgrade to most likely 340i but no more touring for me. While its practical i dont like the looks
M340i stage 1 is just as fast and a lot more efficient on fuel and more comfortable
.....and mostly un-insurable....
what a horrific trend with the long led displays :( yikes

agreed - i've gpt the m340touring and the breaks arent that good, the steering could be better and it could be faster
What's your favourite cheese?
