Thanks for the video, i have another problem: suddenly after some time the model kinda "unbinds" and go backs to t-pose. Even on files saved before, do you know why this happens and how to solve it?
Im currently using c4d 2023 (trial). I cannot complete the set up. Not sure if the system has slightly changed but when i try to drag the geometry into weight transfer it wont allow me to do it. Very frustrating. Do you have any advice?

Cuando lo inserto viene con una posición específica en el espacio, pero cuando lo quiero posicionar en otro lugar y activo la acción vuelve a la posición original.... i Like to add a sword or a gun to the character and change the animation this way. But when i do the the sword follows the skeleton and not the changes i made . Do you know why it does that? Like for instance i got a mixamo animation of the character singing. i also gave the character a microphone. I wanted to change the animation just a bit but when i did the microphone moved with the bones instead of the the character.
The issue I have is that on transfer weights, my character snaps to an A-pose and is offset a little bit. this ruins every step that comes after. I am so frustated.
@@Mr_Anderson_one Yes, you are correct. A million and one things have already gone wrong for me. I suspect this is a bug because no matter how well I rig the character with the control rig, after a few minutes, the mesh simply detaches. Thanks for your work though!
Why does the first motion clip on my timeline sometimes get obliterated by subsequent motion clips that are added later? Why won't my Mixamo Control rig not adjust, even after your tip? Why is this workflow so unreliable?
@@Mr_Anderson_one On the Retarget Master tab of the Master_con+ object there is a "Namespace" attribute. This is the prefix that the Character object uses to find the bones. I think you could've just changed it to "mixamorig6:" instead of the default "mixamorig:"

For me it's still not working even if I do what he did in the video. Maybe it's a bug in newer versions or just me :D It would be nice if somebody confirmed that this problem even exists for others :D also in his case there is an extra '1' not '6' so maybe that works
Thanks for the help, I had noticed that the error was due to the number 6 in the name, but I didn't know if there was any tool to rename all the bones

For leg you have to press ctrl+shift+click
For arm just ctrl+click
It wont dissapear.

Hmm, can't help you with that unfortunately. There is a million things that can go wrong with these, I am very happy each time it works :D

Hey, thanks for the question :) but it's really hard to tell why it's not animating, there could be many reasons since this is quite new
@markelliot2994 did you ever solve this? I am in version 2023 and I have no numbers and am also still not snapping.
just an update. I tried on my laptop with has version R26.107 and it worked.

Why not just change the namespace entry to avoid this problem?
