I agree with your shirt. Below is how I end my postings.
Keep your powder dry and your faith in God my brothers and sisters because we are living through the most interesting times in my almost 60 years.
I have 3 full size 1911's from Tisas, 2 in .45 and 1 in 9mm. Very pleased in all of them. Keep 1 of the .45 models on my hip at all times.

I just picked up a Stingray in 45ACP this week. I absolutely love the quality of the pistol. The only thing im a little let down on is the lack of serrations/checkering on the grip. The mainspring housing is an easy fix and ill be replacing that with an ed brown, but it would have been nice to have a few vertical serrations at least on the front strap. I guess for $500 you cant complain but on a 45acp i like to have some texturing. By the way, how has your stingray been running?

First, thanks for the great video showcasing this particular pistol. It's nice when the equipment brands being used are identified and I truly appreciate it, you're one of only a few. I went to my LGS right before Christmas to get a Tisas 1911 A1 US Army model, but they had sold out of them. The only model they had left was the Tisas 1911 A1 Service. I went ahead and bought it and it has been a jewel. No problems with it at all. It came with two 8 round MecGar mags and I've got several cheap mags I bought for $6.99 each a long time ago and they run just fine in it too. I went the other day to see about the Tank Commander, but they didn't have any and their distributor was out of them too. I really like the Tisas brand 1911's. They are machined very well. You can shake it hard as you can and it doesn't make a sound. This is the second firearm I've bought that is made in Turkey. The first being a Silver Eagle Sporter 28 12 Gauge semi-auto shotgun that also hasn't had a hiccup with anything I run through it. The Tisas Tank Commander is definitely on my to do list for sure. Thanks again for the great video.

While my least expensive .45 1911 the quality is excellent and would recommend it to anyone seeking a good basic 1911. Your conclusion statement was outstanding and agree with the truth presented. It looks like a pretty gun. But I already have 4 Commander sized 1911s, a Colt steel framed in 45, a Tisas Stingray 9mm, a Llama 45 and another Llama in 9mm. So I probably won't be buying one of these anytime soon. I think my next 1911 will be a long slide 10mm probably an Iver Johnson. I also have a Tisas Nightstalker 9mm. Both the Stingray and the Nightstalker purchases were influenced by your video's, please keep up the good work. God bless you and yours.

45acp isnt dying, 357sig is dying, 45gap is dead. Its just less popular these days due to extremely high capacity micro 9mm handguns. When you can have something like an X-Macro that is lighter and slimmer and holds 17 rounds why would you carry a 45acp? Well, ill tell you my reason. I live in a commie state where they picked an arbitrary number of 10 rounds as what are magazines can hold. So if i cant take advantage of capacity of the 9x19, why not carry 10 rounds of 45acp? That being said, i do carry a Glock 19 or 43x 75% of the year but from fall to winter im always carrying my Glock 4.25” commander loaded down with 220+P and i dont see that changing for me. I am a huge fan of the 1911 platform and the 45acp cartridge.

Maybe you should try to "Bench Rest" the tank Commander with a sand bag or something to see where it's shooting. Get a large piece of cardboard and some target stickers or even draw a circle with a sharpie to see if it is consistent. It looked like the brass was flying out in multiple directions, so the extractor may need a bit of adjustment. I still have to shoot mine, but they sure look sharp and they are finished well.

Anyone else notice that the .45 ACP is dying? First the .40 and now we are seeing the fall of .45 acp. Basically 1911's are the only ones we sell and a Glock 21 here and there. Nobody is making new .45 caliber pistols. We are even selling almost as many 9mm 1911's as we do .45acp. Seems like the market got saturated with 1911's over the last 20 years and they have slowed way down. The 10mm was basically dead but has really made a comeback. Just some observations from a retail gun shop on sales.
