Well well, who would have thunk an air fryer would work for sublimation!! Looks like I’ll be looking into purchasing one! Thank you for sharing your ideas and how to do this! Have an amazing day 🦋🤗
I made some with the sleeves and found that there was no difference if you get your print on nice and tight with tape. Thanks for watching I appreciate you taking your time to watch. 🍁
I have never did this and been watching videos on it and alot of people recommend not using your air fryer for cooking after using it for sublimation. What is your opinion on this and have you used yours for regular use since using to make tumblers? Great video by the way..
Thanks. I don’t make many sublimation I prefer the glitter epoxy tumbler. But I like how mine turn out with the air fryer. Definitely worth trying before you invest in something expensive. The most important thing is making sure the sublimation is tightly on the cup so it will transfer.
Sublimation heat makes the ink turn into a gas so it can adhere to the tumbler, cup, etc. That gas (or any leaked ink) is not good for getting into food, and it will have permanent residue in the air fryer (or whatever oven you use for sublimation).
No! Sublimation turns the ink to gas that is not fit for human consumption! Cleaning does not get into places where the gas can get to, and heating for food will reactivate it.
Probably any air fryer that can fit the tumbler you are using sublimation on. Just remember after you use it, don't use for anything else then sublimation.

What size air fryer is this? Will a 4QT work or do you need a 6QT basket?
I’m not sure. I would see if your cup fits.
Did you use any special sublimation ink, & what kind of printer did you use.
Hi Charlene, the video explains everything ;)
Can I ask what air fryer this is? 😅
@@tlasx I’m sorry I don’t remember. But I think of you watch the video it might say what type it is
What kind of paper did you use?
I ordered sublimation prints off Etsy.
Are you able to use the air fryer to cook with after you did the sublimation??
They say you shouldn’t.
No! Sublimation turns the ink to gas that is not fit for human consumption! Cleaning does not get into places where the gas can get to, and heating for food will reactivate it.
What kind of air fryer do yu have for this ???
Probably any air fryer that can fit the tumbler you are using sublimation on. Just remember after you use it, don't use for anything else then sublimation.
Did u use shrink wrap?

TFS...great job, jus sub'd👍🏽
Which Gourmia air fryer did you use?
I’m not sure there is even
More then one type. . You would have to look at the video and see. I’m sure any airfare would do.
@@JanGarciaRN I have searched, Gourmia has several models. What size is the air fryer? 7qt?
@@brandysobecki7193 it’s model GAF685 doesn’t say how many quarts it is. Hope that helps
What quart are you using
Did you see the video? I’m not sure I know what your asking. Can you be more specific. Thanks.
@@JanGarciaRN - She's asking what size your air fryer is. They come in quart capacity.
Are you using ordinary tape?
I am using cricut heat resistant tape I bought at Walmart
Hope you never used the airfryer for food at all as its toxic
