Yes, but the bearing will purge excess grease into nearby voids. A bearing engineer once told me to pack the bearing full and fill void 2/3 full of grease.
Semi-related, but have you ever had a rear axle seize and not want to come out? I’m about to drop the swing arm and press the axle out. I’ve tried soaking in penetrating oil, big dead blow, air hammer, and it will not move more than 1/8”. Talon hubs, everything rotates fine, it it will not come out.
Question. when you put the swing arm nut back on, should I use some anti seize compound on the nut? just curious because my nut was an effort and a half to remove. Good videos btw. keep it up!
+MatthewMCRepair well I am swapping out a damaged swing arm, I have stripped the paint off the replacement today with nitromors, just wondering if I should leave it overnight or not?
+MatthewMCRepair it's basically a solvent to remove paint, very popular here in the UK, I don't think it will do any harm as it's not acid or corrosive. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitromors
Hey man ive got a little issue. I was going to regrease my swingarm bearings accidently dropped the left bushing on the floor, and got a pretty nasty scratch on it. I don't feel comfortable using that bushing, so is it okay to use a new bushing on a used bearing without it starting to wear in an odd way. The bearing itself is almost like new looking and i really dont want to replace it. Thanks in advance!
My 94 kx125 swingarm bolt is fucking stuck in there good, been hitting it now for an hour and hasn't moved a bit yet, I guarantee the fucker hasn't been out in 30 years
Your videos help me tons working on my 2003 KX250 I got earlier this year. Great job and keep them coming!

Good video really helped. Do u have to remove the swing arm when it comes to installing the engine?
Thanks, for waiting my time
?
You can do it either way. I find it easier to remove wheel first

You gave those swing arm bearings a good lube mate fair play.
Yes, you can put some anti-seize on. I put a dab of the waterproof grease on there.

Good video mate, very helpful. I shall be putting this into practise soon!
+J Burkey Thanks, hopefully you won't run into any worn parts. Not many people keep these areas clean and lubed.

+J Burkey Can't comment on that product, never used it. Sorry.
