@@josephm3615 @The Provoked Prawn After using the Razer Audio Mixer for 3 months, I realized that it is actually not good at all, the reason being is that it is controlled by Razer Synapse. Any hiccups that Razer Synapse may have (freezing, crashing, etc) will affect the Razer Audio Mixer in the same way - maybe even worse. The audio drivers will break and cause all sound to be static, until you unplug and replug the mixer in. All functions of the sliders on the mixer become disfunctional. The preamp also is not as good as the one on the GoXLR as almost the same compression and EQ settings allow for more white noise to be generated, and the processing is worse on the Razer Audio Mixer as well, resulting in a less clean post-processed voice. Just my two cents, but I went with the GoXLR Mini after returning my Razer Audio Mixer after 3 months of usage.
Great video! Can I ask a silly question. I use my current mixer as a bit of an audio hub any my phone music comes through the audio in port. Even when my pc is off I can still leave my headset connected to the hub and listen to my phone music (the pic still provides power) wonder if you know whether these will do the same or whether they need the software and of on to do anything? Thanks!
Before watching: Razer: 260 bucks GoXLR Mini: 160 bucks And they look literally the same. I feel like the Razer Mixer is the same as the GoXLR mini but it’s just 100€ bucks more expensive.
@@TheProvokedPrawn that might be true, but razer software is pretty awful to be honest. I was using Razer products only a while ago since they are mostly pretty good but I Switched to the Logitech Pro peripherals. I feel like Logitech’s software is just better and less intrusive.
@@yeitmejoe they are meant for xlr microphones, normal usb mics are meant to be connected via the usb to a computer. audio interfaces do not give any benefits to usb mics and there is no way to connect your quadcast to one either

There's a smidge more in terms of software things you can do with Razer.

As of now in the U.S the GoXLR Mini is about $230. So it's very close in price now.

I've always heard people talking about these but don't really know anything about em would this work with a hyper x quadcast s mic?
