Thank you so much for this and all of your other videos! I don't think I say it often enough, but your experience, dedication, and the work you do to share these videos is appreciated! This is defineatly something I can add to my current regimen.
After my stroke, I had an exercise routine that I would go through before I got out of bed. It really helped physically and mentally. My muscles stiffened with the exercise, but I felt I had accomplished something. Question... why do you feel stiff and exhausted after doing simple exercises like these following a stroke?
@@cathylindeboo.9598 I've had lots of luck with adding electrolytes supplement to my water with muscle cramps. I wonder if that may help with your dizziness. My theory is that our brain works way harder to mend us than maintain us. That exertion must drink up electrolytes as if you were exerting physically.
Commendable, thank you so much for both explaining and showing how to go about the exercise. Will try that from tomorrow. I need some one help to make me lie down on the bed. Also , to flex my limbs. Please suggest an exercise for the same. You are a blessing in disguise ❤❤❤
Hey great exercises I can do those good but my arm pops at shoulder like it be out of place but if I can reach and let go of things and raise my arm up without holding an object I believe I would have my hand and arm back to normal function I love all your videos keep them coming
Hello, hope you are doing fine. I watch your videos intently. They are very valuable. Thanks for the same. My right side is paralysed due to brain stroke I had three years back. I am following your videos and doing exercises which I am able to. Well, I am able to close my fingers but unable to open them. Please let me have your opinion. Thanks Rajan
I have to ask you one thing that I noticed by myself…when I excersise like Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday….. and I do really a lot …. Then on Thursday or Friday I have such an increase in spasticity that makes me so frustrating…..do you also have that problem…? Is it a normal process…? Do I push myself to hard..?
Thank you so much for sharing the above. However, i am not able to lie down on the bed on my own. Need the help. Please guide me how to go about the same.
This assumes you have mobility on both sides of the body. I was looking for exercises for someone who lost mobility on their right side due to a stroke.
Hii Please I’m desperate can you help me my dad had another stroke that left him paralyzed in his mouth can’t move his tongue so he can’t talk or eat they put him feeding tube in his stomach I’ve been searching videos for his case but no luck most of the videos are for people with ability to move there tongue which it’s not the case for my dad please if you can direct me we would appreciate it 🙏
These are some excellent and practical movements that could be incorporated into a stroke patient's exercise regime. Much appreciated :D
Thanks a lot for the great video. I’m wondering if there’s any suggestions for a patient with no movement yet?

I've wondered that also, Ben. I also notice some dizziness after exertion, and my limbs feel weaker, temporarily.

Yes. MCT and electrolytes should help. It always allows for a better mood also.

Great routine! Love the idea of using the gift wrap. Go OT!
Challenging after a stroke(s) but in a good way! I'm trying these while also sitting during the day👌
