Thank you for having us use muscles that we don't use and ignore. Haven't paid attention to my facial muscles in years. When I couldn't keep my lips tight on a cup of coffee. All my shirts were stained from dribbling.
The top part of my face is fine, I can control my eyebrows, and my eyes. If my mouth is closed, you can't tell anything is wrong. If I try to smile, on my own, that's when you can tell. If I laugh naturally, all looks normal. I think my mouth is just weak, it's a lot better now than it was in the beginning. My mouth was dropped badly after the stroke. I still want my smile back, a smile I can control.

Exercise 1: Eyebrow Frown: EEEK! Mad face on Elise! 😂
Haha 😖☺️❤️
@PostStrokeOrg Elyse, my right eyebrow is way higher than my left. Would these exercises help that, or is it spasticity?
😊
