Thanks for sharing, this incredible onboard views - and the sound is just heaven! I wonder two things: 1) how you can drive if someone is always catting I think 3 words in each corner 2) this car seems to go on rails, absolutely fantastic, great handling - so many passages with full throttle!
Thanks 🙏 Yes, the car has a very solid and predictable setup.I had earlier in the season some challenges finding the right setup but after Manthey Racing set it up, it was almost like a diifferent car! Here is some info on that in the previous 992 GT3 Vlog th-cam.com/video/aIHdibO_6G8/w-d-xo.html. When it comes to Daniels talking you are right :-) My experience is that when your are driving at the pace we did, you need to have a focused approach to your driving line and driver inputs. You need to know what to do. So listen to Daniel and "wait" for his input does not work at all. Daniel is more like a "soundtrack" in the background that confirms what you do right and where you need to improve for next lap. It's like instant feedback with great timing in the entry, mid corner and exit phase. But 2 laps, maximum 3, is the limit for, at least my level of concentration :-) Don't forget to subscribe if you feel like it 👍
@@TrulyDriven ... very interesting, also the Setup information, and for me your driving looks very good already, also the line looks correct, otherwise the best car cannot follow. As you explain the chatting of Daniel it is clear now, you learn for the next lap, that makes sense. One more thing: You make everything right I think, as you smile while driving, that´s a good sign.
Cool video - as a qualified instructor myself I see Daniel has developed a unique and very effective style of working with his clients. He's a great coach 👍
Thanks Darren 🙏 I agree on your remarks regarding Daniel @all4track - all for the drivers. I have over the years also been engaged in driver coaching at various levels but when it comes to coaching at this high speed level (at least in my eyes) it takes a skilled and experienced coach to make sure that the coaching is safe for both the driver and the coach and that also promotes a safe and consistent driving not only improved pace. My thinking is that I like to improve pace but not increase risk and that is not necessarily two things that goes hand-in-hand but I believe that if you have the right approach in your driving, it can to combined to a certain level. At least at the level of my driving and ambition. Looking forward to the NBR trackday season 2023 👍
Great summary, thanks. I felt the same, after much GT3 and GT4 track time, I found that the 992GT3 is a another BIG step and I didn't meet it's abilities. Incredible car!
Happy to hear that we share the same experiences. Thanks 🙏 My experience from other GT3 is limited to the older ones like my 996 GT3 Cupified. Have you found the 992 GT3 more difficult than other modern GT3´s?
@@TrulyDriven driver coaching seems the right way to go. If I may ask - is it included in the MR Trackday package, or is it an option? If so, how much is it and for how long is he available? (Maybe you mention this in the video, sorry if that’s the case)
@@timessix8434 This level of driver coaching was a new (and very positive) experience for me. A shared Daniel Schwerfeld @all4track with another driver during the day. It worked very well for me with the combination to also have a lot of time alone in the car practicing. This level of coaching is not included in the MR trackdays, or any other trackdays that I know of for that matter. You can reach Daniel on daniel@all4track.de . Are you also driving anything GT3 like?
@@TrulyDriven Thanks! Yes I do. I have a 991.2GT3 since 2018 and 981GTS before that. So far I’ve attended only PCS Trackdays in Sweden ( b/c insurance, you know…) But spending some time at Nur under safe and fun conditions is definitely an ambition for me. The Manthey setup sure looks tempting. (Whereas TF does not. Not at all…)
@@timessix8434 Haha så du är svensk :-) Then we must have met at the PCS trackdays! I think that the Scuderia Hanseat could be a really good way for you to get introduced to the Nordschleife. Hi Jonas, I just stumbled upon your youtube! We met on the Scuderia Hanseat course back in May and you said you got a really cool video of our little drive together on the Nordschleife. If you still have it I would love to see it! Best Regards Peter Hvam Ellefsen with the red danish registered Seat Leon Cupra :-) See you around the Ring
Hi Peter, yes I had a great time with you in my 996 GT3 Cupified during the Scuderias Hanseat spring course. It was some impressive driving in the Cupra from your side 👏. Unfortunately our lap did not find the way to a safe place on my Macbook but I will make sure to safeguard our next lap! Don't forget to subscribe if you feel like it 👍
Haha! Daniel keeps talking all the time! At the same time you try to be fully concentrated on the driving AND responding to Daniel :-) Very happy with the coaching from Daniel but I believe that some more driving on my own will improve my concentration and pace but that will be something for me to practice for the next visit 👍 At this trackday I had time to both have Daniel in the car (both driving and as passenger) but also driving on my own.
Hi Mark. They made a wheel alignment and corner weight and I had also steel braided break lines and Mantheys break pads mounted. Aero was also adjusted. They also recommend front 2.0 bar and rear 2.1 (varm) for the Cup2´s. My previous setup had more camber both front and rear. Otherwise 100% stock with no hardware upgrades.
@@TrulyDriven I recently purchased a 991.2 Manual (Porsche wouldn't sell me a 992 and couldn't afford the second hand marked up prices!!) My tracking feels slightly out and a company here do the Manthey setups. As I am not used to driving the car, may just go for a standard setup for a while, before fiddling around. Gt3's are awesome cars. Very impressed with your driving btw!
Thanks Mark for your kind remarks! My theory is that we as amateurs are all equally fast in the long run, its just a matter of how much time we have had to practice so far :-) Congrats on the 991.2! A great 911 with the same wonderful 9.000 rpm engine. I think the wheel alignment is also about resonable tyre wear as it is about predictable behavior. Looking forward to hear about your 991.2 GT3 adventures / Jonas
Half worn Cup2´s (approx. 30 laps). Never felt that I was on the limit of the grip of the tyres at this pace. Very predictable with the Manthey setup 👍

Are you breaking, with your left foot ?
