    This time I'm setting up an chinese AC servo as a spindle drive in MACH3. I'll show how to wire it up and set the parameters on the drive. Also I'll show how to set the MACH3 software to work with this type of motor in velocity mode. I'm using in the video the 80ST-M02430 750W 3000rpm chinese ac servo.

    Hello,
    Just share for Pn parameter
    1. Pn164 you don't need to set it clamp at below rotational, and Pn003 Servo On is not to enable, you can enable it at Pn052 Servo ON (pin6 DB25 port)by trigger an input from external (mach3 output relay) and energized drive internal relay by pin 9 and 10 (0v-24vdc), so you can fully controlled it by mach3
    2. Pn160 = Cw and CCW change direction of servo motor (according to your need)
    3. Pin 13 and 25 analog voltage 0-10v, +10v is example CW Directon and -10v is other direction, mach3 only have 0v - +10v, if you need other direction you can switch pin 13 and 25
    I have try it, So i share it to you

    Hi I need your support.
    1. Is there any servo equivalent in Panasonic because I find difficulty in sourcing Chinese servos. Though it is available in ebay I am expecting service support.
    2. While doing threading do we need servomotor with brakes.
    3. How can we give direction for rotation control in servo with mach3

    • @GBWM_CNC
      @GBWM_CNC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. I have no experience with Panasonic.
      2. Depends how fast you want to do it, but I saw people doing threading without a brake. Really depends on the inertia of the system I guess.
      3. I didn't figure out this topic on my own, but according to Kroto Motion (down below in the comment section) switching polarity of the analog input pins should allow you to control the motor in the other direction in velocity mode as It rotates 0-10V in one direction and -10-0V in the opposite direction.

Можно ли с помощью УП на мач3 или других автономных контроллерах управлять одновременно скоростью шпинделя, а потом поворотом патрона в определенное положение? Для сверления детали сбоку например. • @GBWM_CNC
      @GBWM_CNC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the number of steps per revolution. Check out this video: th-cam.com/video/rfJOJ7xSrlQ/w-d-xo.html how to set the parameters for pulse mode.
      But overally you can get the max 3000rpm. For example you get 25000 pulses per second which is 1 500 000 pulses per minute from your mach3. If you consider like 500 pulses per 1 revolution you get 3000rpm (1500000/500=3000) if I'm not wrong with the math 😁 You can set the number pulses per revolution lower so you can get the desired 3000rpm even with less pulses but this will decrease the resolution of the movement.

    è possibile collegarlo come spindle su nvem v2? sai i collegamenti? grazie

      NVEM v2 da quello che afferma il produttore ha un'uscita 0-10 V richiesta per far funzionare questo servo come motore mandrino. Non ho esperienza con questo controller cnc ma dovrebbe funzionare. Probabilmente dovresti essere in grado di configurarlo sulla base di questo film (la configurazione del driver del servo dovrebbe essere simile se non la stessa) e il manuale del controller CNC.

    I’ve followed your wiring and tested that the controller puts out 0-10v using a multimeter as I change the rpm. But I can’t seem to get the servo to spin other than in jog mode. We’re there any other parameters you needed to change?

      Everything I set is here on the video. Did you enable the servo with the enable parameter?

      @@GBWM_CNC thanks for the reply. I copied what you did with the Pn settings (enabling the servo and getting the high pitched noise) and used pin 13 and 25. I can change the voltage between 0-10v with the spindle control in Mach but still nothing happens.
      I hope it’s not a hardware fault.
