You gotta remember this game is actively in development. There's a reason we still don't have a release date, because there is still a lot left to be done.
Basically what he said at the end.
We all know this kid
Wish people understood this about the Hunter x Hunter game
Cool.
Stop announcing games so early if that's the case😂
@sonicfan2486 Hey friendo 👋 in case you didn't know you kinda need to announce popular things when they're in production to gain hype and interest. It's kinda stupid to just say "hey! X comes out at this exact date!" Without giving any leading up hype.
After showing how dedicated they are as a fanbase, Sparking Zero decided to take place entirely in Mexico
huh?
LMAO
Thats a solid joke holy shit
I feel bad for the people who don’t get this joke 😂😂
You underestimate their impact to the balck community
Tbh, as a kid, cell looked alot more yellow green because all the tvs in the house sucked so bad.
cells meant to be fucking green? suppose I never saw him on my phone then, otherwise I would have noticed
@@theonetruefusion8533he meant that cell looked yellowish because of the bad quality of the tvs in his house
@@theonetruefusion8533
Yeah, Cell is green. I had a much better quality CRT as a kid.
@@helixsol7171 I never thought he was green, always thought he was red since he had piccolo DNA in him, you know? where would the green come from?
@@theonetruefusion8533piccolo is green
i never considered how difficult the art style is to translate into 3d.
Toriyama's style I believe is somewhat difficult to imitate but it definitely has odd interactions in a 3D environment. Mark totally brought this to my attention when he did a video on it not too long ago.
My drawings's nonsensical shadows that I made when I was a kid:
Orange bricks moment
Introducing! Dragon ball sparking zero: orange bricks version!
Not even the video games can escape from the dreaded poor home releases
Pretty sure if the colors weren't changed, I wouldn't be bothered.
Gonna be honest chief, you could not pay me to give a shit about the colors. What I’m interested in is a new kickass Dragon Ball game.
It's going to be hard to look at if it hurts/offends your eyes.
@@zombathinlostleghackercat5233 Then my eyes will melt, looking at a beautiful Dragon Ball game!
@@imaginarycorgi7312 Graphics aren't everything in a game. I feel like too many people these days only get a game if the graphics are good. I don't care about graphics, I want good, fluid gameplay, a solid and enjoyable story and fun mechanics. This is a sequel to BT3 so the mechanics aren't gonna be that unique - just basic controls for a fighting game.
It's not like FighterZ where you have to know a whole bunch of buttons for 1 combo. Hopefully they don't remove cool things you could do in BT3 that weren't made to be in the game, you had to do it in a weird way. Like Dragon Dashing behind the enemy after you send them flying. I still prefer BT3's look to Sparking Zero. It's less saturated and hurtful to my eyes.
The biggest issue is the lack of local multiplayer. I find it alarming that more people aren't talking about this honestly... The biggest joy of the old sparking games were the ability to go head to head with your friend or sibling in head to head duels and it's pretty depressing that there will now be a fighting game that you can ONLY play together online.....
Okay I didn’t know that, that very much sucks. I think local vs play should be a must-have for any fighting game.
It was already explained and I’m surprised you haven’t caught on as to the reasoning. If you look at the actual gameplay trailer, not reveal trailers or character trailers, the actual gameplay trailer or sneak peek into the gameplay, it obvious that nothing of what they have done with sparking would actually work in local split screen. Their dynamic camera that isn’t now exclusive to ultimates and supers but actually part of the active gameplay along with the User Interface (I have to use that instead of UI as to not get it confused with Ultra Instinct) is not built for Local split screen. Of course the interface is the least of the problems as that is subject to change, the gameplay is not, that’s already set in stone and everything that they shown off would be impossible to replicate in local multiplayer without cutting very big corners. They didn’t want to just do Budokai Tenkaichi 3 remastered or whatever, no, they wanted to make a whole Sequel. And that they did at the cost of something great, but in return we get an overall better game because of it.
Edit: Well, this didn’t age good, I mean kinda, the split screen is obviously a last minute decision given that the only stage is hyberbolic time chamber and being revealed it was never meant to be in the game in the first place.
It's unfortunate but I think the reason no one talks about it anymore (cause this was talked about back when people first found out) is because we know why it's not in the game. Basically the devs want it in but Sony and Microsoft won't allow it.
I don't think it's that big of a deal, we live in an era where people prefer playing online than in-person, especially with rampant growth of online friends
It would be nice to have but I don't think it's such a big loss than it's game ruining
Wah, get with the times grandpa
somebody in creative team: how much saturation do you want
the boss: Yes!
it even makes sense to an extent. they want that glowing hair to grab all you attention
The Boss: "Just reference the show."
somebody in the creative team: "You got it!" *pulls out the blu rays*
@@MauseDays yeah but this is not a design choice. This is the engine working overtime on sunny maps.
Also pretty sure they can sature locally only the hair.
Head canon: the extra yellow tint is referencing the weird color correction done with the dragon box sets, and will be an added setting along with "Faulconer score"
This is the most hilarious comment I have seen all day
@@epicgamingwithgeorge😂😂😂
Ngl a faulconer score with this game sounds hella good
I mean to be fair there is usually a setting to tone saturation to your liking in most games
The only problem I have with it is the fact that no split screen is available
Not going to happen. Split screen forces the game to render itself twice which would kill the frame rate.
@@dangerousdays2052
“Not going to happen” Where you read that from?
@@dangerousdays2052yeah what the delicious biscotti said
@@dangerousdays20521080p 30fps in split screen is fine. All the devs have to do is remove the split screen option for xbox series s and lower the split screen graphics and performance to 1080p 30fps on ps5 and series x.
It's not meant to be split screen, it's not like the other Budokai games, it's meant to be local multiplayer only, you would know this if you watched the gameplay trailer
that's not yellow, that's the 2010's video game colour scheme
Wouldn't it be funny if this is how the guy in charge of the visuals of the trailer learns they're slightly colorblind
I kind of like the colors. But I’d definitely appreciate a saturation slider in the visuals settings
i always forget that detail about Gokus hair always having the same shape no matter the angle
Just like Mickey Mouse's ears.
@@SkullydudePercy That's exactly how Mark referred to it lol.
kinda unique ngl
His hair has Ultra instinct
I don't think a Dragon Ball game will ever look better than FighterZ without using the same techniques they did to achieve that perfect look, but for a fully 3D game, Sparking Zero looks great!
This looks way better than fighter z does especially considering it’s 3D
@@dominicg3316 that's your opinion, the difference between this two is that the models from FighterZ will ALWAYS look excellent doesn't matter from what angle, Sparking Zero does not have that privilege, and in some angles it looks a bit rough, even tho in general is the best looking fully 3D db game
@@curse5697 no it’s not my opinion it does not look rough it looks gorgeous from every angle. Way better than fighterz. Not even up for debate you’re wrong
@@dominicg3316 it’s funny how wrong you are, fighterz is and will always be visually superior
Nice try and coping kid
@@renegade3169 it’s funny how delusional you are and how childish of a response you wrote because you know I’m right. Nice try snowflake. Way to ignorantly post random shi* when you know I’m right you just have to be stubborn. Sparking zero looks incredible and way better than fighter z ever could.
Sparking Zero looks great, but idk if it can touch the perfect visual style of FighterZ.
The difference is FighterZ uses fixed camera angles so any model can be tweaked to make the character look more dynamic whereas Sparking Zero has a free roaming camera so the 3d models can't be manipulated as much
Oh it's impossible for sparking zero to look as good as fighterz. It's justsimply not possible to pull off the model shenanigans fighterz does with a free roam dynamic camera
@lihuenbaez6154 even tho it may not be as good, the fact that it still looks good even without all the model shenanigans shows how much effort was put into making it look good at least
@@adhamwashere5320 fr this game will set a standard for free roam anime games from now on
@@lihuenbaez6154 also one tradeoff for not looking as good as fighterz is that characters in sparking zero can have multiple different costumes instead of just palette swaps
this is nothing compared the fact we're not getting local multiplayer
We are only in the time chamber
I really like the saturation imo
What we want is the green tint release
NO! PURPLE TINT!
Yes, director’s cut please
Dragon Ball Z...in the Matrix!
Hey in green tint news:
I think Super Broly released on hulu recently with no green tint
@@creezuz The Broly movie is so good. I've watched it 6+ times already.
My biggest issue with some TH-camrs that play anime games is that they deliberately change the saturation of the footage instead for he direct feed color.
Nvidia game filters, save us!
"The Spice must FLOW!!!" 💻
They might have just increased the brightness originally to make the gameplay trailers better to follow?
I don’t know, I’m speaking outta my ass here
No, that makes sense.
Yeah I think a lot of game trailers do this
I respect a Devil's Advocate.
Brightness alone won't change tint like this
@@Mari_Izu if it’s already a little saturated that way on lower brightness then it could
It looks intentional like they emulated the look of old non colors corrected stuff then fixed it later
No local Coop is my biggest issue
The BIG problem is no local multiplayer. COME ON man
I'm just curious, do you still play any other games on local multiplayer?
@@AWBMMX cod. Storm. Old games like dead rising and stuff like that. Any game that has it. It's a good frsture
@@AWBMMX I miss local multiplayer games, because I like to play with my brother, despite not personally owning a PS5 myself.
That's crazy if that's true. BT3 had it so why would they take it out? If I can't have irl tournaments with my friends, it's going to be super wack
@@AWBMMX Me my partner, our kid and my sister-in-law all love hanging out and playing split screen or co-op via lan also introduced our niece and nephew to it,
The idea that No-one plays like that or wants to play like that is honestly just silly, the people asking for local on the internet, are the ones who still like playing local :/ i mean if i wasn't ... i wouldn't bother mentioning it lol, hell we re-booted up crash nitrocart and diablo 3 just this year, and still play a ton of pc lan games (which thankfully havn't died)
yes the stats support that its Less people, but even 10 years ago when online console gaming started getting huge you had siblings bragging they had 2 consoles and tv's right next to each other to play, it wasn't that they didn't want to be in the same room and needed to be a part, it was for convenience.
The problem is, that we had split screen on ps2 and xbox, we have these massively powerful systems now but the only co-op games coming out are tiny "wacky top downs" or racing, im not saying i need a co-op or vs' with the graphics of horizon or ghost of Tsushima, but if someone made something of late ps3- early 4 era quality that was split-screen, pretty sure it'd run nicely and i feel like there would be a big enough market to expand on it abit more,
I kinda prefer the saturated colors if I’m being honest, at least for most of the characters
It’s nice, not every game needs to look like fighterz
@@biscotti2 Isn't FighterZ already pretty heavily saturated?
Not if the skins are so bright it's not even skin anymore.
yea the saturated colors arent that bad, shows how powerful the auar is, to the point it changes the lighting on your skin lol
Honestly this feels more like the renderer for the trailer had the color balance off, rather than the game being weirdly yellow in general, though the lighting change on SSG Goku is real
It’s the lighting of certain stages. They seem have per-stage post-processing which tints the shading based on the environment
Yeah, I hate that in anime games. I don't want realism if it changes iconic colours.
This proves dragonball fans will find anything to bitch about
Dude it’s not that deep
@@truecarman that’s my point… people are complaining about color saturation… it’s not that deep
@@truecarmanexactly, and that's the problem
I mean… you can’t deny ts looked ugly. Furthermore, he actually GAVE props TWICE in the video by saying they did a hell of a job converting the art style to 3D AND for fixing the problem of the yellow tint.
@@Who_Is_Cloud no, I can deny it looked ugly because there’s literally no difference besides the shading and contrast of the colors.. DB fans do nothing but bitch and moan about everything that’s put out
The one problem I’ve had with the trailers is half the time I haven’t been able to figure out what is happening (probably because of this)
The true problem Is the lack of local multiplayer dude
Oh no they all have jaundice 😢

Yall worried about colors and 3D models.
I'm worried about when this game releasing and who's all on the roster.

@@feesemass7895true, but the roster seen to be very big
It’s gonna release some day anyways. And they’ll eventually add every character possble to make more $ off dlcs. All that is minor. But when it comes out with ugly colors its done, its over. Priorities kiddo.
We’re not the same indeed.
There will be no slander for this masterpiece of a game. Shut up

2 things: 1. it isn't slander if it's true.
2. it won't be a masterpiece if people don't address the issues

Im a Dragon Ball fan that went blind, so do you mean the physics of Goku‘s hair doesn’t change even when he’s in motion? If so that has been a problem with all dragon Ball games tbh
Tbh. I like the vibrant colors better than the fixed ones. Makes it feel more powerful in my opinion. More flashy, the better
I like the saturation honestly
We went from green tint to yellow, please no more tint! 😭😞
Kakarot had some good DBZ art and character designs.
the colors are beautiful
That quick fix colour makes it look so much better

Personally the bright colors don’t really matter all that much to me😂
Pretty sure that graphic mods and reshade will come out the first month and every player will have the style he likes
raging blast 1 had the best 3D models
I actually like the original look way more than the edit
"Sparking Zero seems to have pulled it off better than any fully 3D DBZ game"

I’m sure there are lots of fans working on the game that have a strong intrinsic desire to make this game look as good as possible given the events from a couple months back
People really gotta find anything to complain about🤦🏾
My main problem is the fact that we have to pay to play online despite the fact there's no local multiplayer

Bro as long as all the characters are available i could care less about a tint issue...
That custom battle stuff looks insane basically you can create your own story to such an extent that your making your own saga including cut scenes that’s so cool 🎉🎉🎉
Let’s be real, let us all be glad this game exists in the first place
That perfect cell meme lives in my head rent free
I can’t believe this guy made a video just because of the colors
Worst case scenario if you have any sort of modern tv you can just lower the color saturation there
Every color TV has that option. So modern as in 1960s to now?
Game isn’t even out yet and people are complaining.
Chances are, it’ll be a video setting change you can do.
Dawg this game is still months away from release, give it time :)
Aged like milk thank God!
"...kinda ugly"
IRONIC
It’s also good to keep in mind that it won’t be realeased until winter (at least, according to pre-order info), so they still have plenty of time to fix these issues, as well as having the help of a very select few of very early access players.
you know its gonna be good when peoples only complaint about your game is the colors
They probably upped the saturation for the trailers to make them seem more intense
Not worried about it.
We finally get a good dragon ball game that’s been worked on so much and the fan base still wants to pick it apart
TNM When Goku's face is just a little off: "Looks bad"
shoutout to people complaining about a game that isn't finished yet, gotta be one of my favorites genders
never going to understand why hes complaining about how TRAILERS look, not even the actual legitiment game
Theres a good four months before it comes out fingers crossed they shake out the color issues and it's a great successor to Budokai
Y'all complain way too much. Who cares if a character is slightly yellow? I've never even noticed that insignificant detail. The game still looks awesome, just enjoy it and stop complaining about everything.
The game is still in development so it WILL have some problems, you can't just expect that a demo of a game in development wouldn't have some problems
I love the updated / less saturations versions you displayed. The game would look 1000x better, and more like Raging Blast 1
The only problem i have is no splitscreen
The first gameplay trailer for Sparking Zero was said to use 8 month old footage
So, having some knowledge on game creation I can say that the most likely reason for the lighting issues is early testing of the lighting engine. Cell shading is a hard thing to properly pull off, so I imagine it was an early stage of testing with their light engine, which also slightly saturated due to overexposure of the engine, not from a design element. So likely when the full game is released they will fix their lighting engine, which you pointed out to have been the case already, which is cool to see and I have been excited about this one
I beg to differ extremely. The oversaturation is a beautiful addition for the looks, the explosions are so vibrant and anime-like
I’m honestly a big fan of the saturation boost, it makes it feel more intense and lively imo
It's almost as if you should wait for the game to fully release
Nitpicky as fuck. This shit looks great
