Next one is going to be a very special Tenkaichi 3-centric video!
Can't wait to share more.😁
I will.
Talking about goku taking energy from vegeta wasn't goku it was vegeta it self. Vegeta, when he rushes goku, was hitting in the stomach with triangle and can be repeatedly hit the opponent with square until max power is over or hit him before losing max power then press triangle and I believe again to perform a sort of beam if I remember correctly
But since he miss the target it just disappears basically wasting max power
Man I do hope there’s no delay for sparking zero that would absolutely suck but it has to come out in peak condition
Thank you for this video, @Kadazee!
I think the reason doto “drained” his energy is because vegeta used the weird combo you can do in bt2 where in max power you can rush and hold triangle you can mash square and rapidly attack them but then it takes your max power away. It’s in the combo list I can’t remember what it’s called
My first hunch as well. Occurred to me once I saw multiple CPU fight each other.
This is exactly it btw
I don't see how anybody could come to the stupid conclusion in this vid when he lost his ki before he even used give me energy. Without even knowing about the max power beat down
@@dogwringerright! I’m like am I stupid or something? It’s obviously the max power combo that vegeta failed to execute that lead to his power being drained.
It's this. Just a weird coincidence, ultimately.
That "penalty state" is called ki sickness. It also happens if you use an ultimate when you're about to fall out of max power state sometimes.
I think you got that from the three idiots 😅
It doesn't have an official name
@@vladimirmendoza2645 partially. It's an early iteration of the Delayed Onset Energy/Ki Disorder. It's started in the games as way to discourage just charging and spamming ultimates then was made canon in Super. It's what happened to Goku when he was having trouble with his instant transmission and was struggling to build ki properly. The term "ki sickness" 100% comes from the three idiots, but it's so much easier to say. 😁
@@cryhavikk Ki Sickness is the better term.
Its interesting to think they made a game mechanic a real thing in the series and it makes sense.
idk if you’ve covered this but i was playing BT3 a few weeks ago and i was trying out videl and i always wondered what the point of her charged ki blasts were since it barely travels any distance before it fizzles out. well, the point of her charged ki blasts is to shield herself from the enemy’s normal ki blasts. it nullifies them
Defensive ki blasts confirmed
It can also (sometimes) cancel out burst dashes
that is actually a reference to her doing some ki training with gohan, at least the pose she does when charging is very similar to when gohan try to teach her to channel ki and she only managed to do a small orb
A good night to watch secrets in Dragon Ball games.
Agreed! 😁👍

@@Super000x000, Now it's morning. Lol
I have a potentially cool fun fact about Budokai 2. Kid Buu’s enemy AI will ramp up like crazy depending on who you’re using. If you’re using a character that was around during the fight with Kid Buu (Goku, Vegeta, Hercule, etc.) but if you’re using a character that wasn’t around like Gohan, Videl, etc. he’ll be a complete pushover.
Don't think so with Gohan he even has actually dialog before fight with kid buu same with piccolo .
@@tonymack2007Maybe it has to do with programming the fight to play more difficult during missions, so it detects specific characters & increases attack frequency?
Would explain why when you pick vegeta buu goes ham on his ass
@@sky_pirate nope I tried the game during that part to see if it was true kid buu didn't hold back against me with piccolo or gohan it wouldn't make sense they have dialog with kid buu which is rare because there's not much in the game .
For a 17 year old game this game was and still is way ahead of it's time!

Hey KaDazee!
I noticed a small detail at 3:49 at that time, you were hovering over goku (mid) and I noticed his character portrait was looing a bit off... I even searched on google to match both of them and it turns out, I was right! The Dev's changed his portrait in the final launch of the game!!!
To explain 7:30 and why vegeta lost his FULL gauge. If u power to the max in Tenkaichi 2 and you burst rush and press triangle to attack your opponent it allows an ULTIMATE combo but if u MISS this combo you LOSE all your energy. So essentially, vegeta missed his Ultimate combo and goku went for the share energy move at the SAME time thus causing the illusion...im sorry..i have like 100000 hours invested in the tenkaichi series and am a nerd. If u dont believe me, check vegetas moveset in the pause menu
Right! I’m thinking how could anyone be this naive not to figure it out.
SUPERCOOL BRO
Wait what, Coldraven? Like your content man
Omaygot its edp445’s rival
@@ColdRavensNest You're absolutely correct... damn. Just checked it out in game. I feel really bad right now, but I mean, WHAT ARE THE ODDS that these two things just coincidentally happen at the same time? My bad, I totally forgot about the "Max Power" combo from BT2.
Bro can't stop cooking
Let him cook ✋️
In budokai 1 the kamehameha doesn't shoot a beam it likes a close range shotgun where have to be close to the opponent
And its y e l l o w that always bugged me as a kid
Cell is the one with the blue Kamehameha
@@anonluxor470 thats true, kinda odd
In that game it is more like a Hadoken than a beam, just use the Kamehameha at long range and you will see what i mean.
It was yellow in manga?
Oh and another one, in BT1, Ssj4 Gogeta has a unique High Power Rush, but when you beat the game and check the credits he has the standard one; meaning it was most likely a last second change.
I remember seeing someone else talk about tien and Yamcha debuffing super buu
Just a little fun fact
If you use "power up to the very limit" and do NOT use a super or ult you wont get a charge debuff
I always used it as a full power endless combo
That burst limit saibeman will be in my nightmares now! 😭🙏
in dbl (dragon ball legends) if you using super siyan 3 shallot aftar some time he ditransform and using more energy makes it faster
there are no secrets in these games anymore thanks to Kadazee
10:13 i like vegeta doesn't fight it, he just accepts his fate 😂
He rather rolls his eyes instead crying for mercy
8:59 Z item route sounds neat. Most likely that was Vegeta's triangle smash (can't remember the exact name of the move). Most characters in max power mode can do a dragon dash and then use triangle to land a smash which opens you up to a lightning fast combo. Whether you land it or miss you are taken out of max power mode.
Vegeta was dragon dashing and performed a smash attack in all successful recreations of the clip.
7:46 Super Saiyan Blue Goku that can transform to Blue Kaioken times 20 in Dragon Ball Legends
Here's a weird one in budokai 2 kid buu ultimate move is called warp kamehameha but he doesn't actually do it he just dose his giant pink energy ball and then dose the kamehameha
In Budokai 3 also and it's called warp because he uses instant transmission for the final physical attack and kamehameha after his planet burst attack if it is successful.
FINALLY! Welcome back Kadazee it's been awhile love your vids man.
A new video on this channel a little after 1:30 in the morning, I love it.
If we remember, Baby Vegeta didn't have a tail but received enough Blutz Waves to transform. I guess Vegeta's Power Ball converts just enough Blutz Waves.
honestly this is the best dbz youtuber xD, i am so hyped for sparking zero and for kadazee to make videos on it
Thank you so much for the test!! That’s so weird why and how it happened but thank you again!
10:00 Buu absorbing Frieza giving no boost makes sense as Frieza is ALOT weaker than 1% of Buu
I always learn a lot whenever I watch your videos. It's amazing to see what will come next.
Your videos give me all the serotonin I need.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 videos are always 10/10 bro!
Man, why Dimps did do dirty with Yamcha? What has he done to hate him? Not listening to Tien's advice or hitting on young Chi-Chi? Idk..😅
Don't forget Bulma dumped him for being a womanizer.
@@TyshaggyGaming Yamcha has sinned. Why did King Enma allow him to stay in other world? Lol
@TyshaggyGaming Bulma also cheated on Yamcha so she can't talk. There's also no evidence of Yamcha cheating
@@demonthekid718 to be fair, Yamcha and Chichi were only a few years apart and he never had actual interest in her
@@micah459 Yeah, people in dragon ball have dwarfism till a certain age for some reason, it's literally proven by saiyans not existing till z. Krillin never left the dwarf stage tho.
Your videos are actually one of my favorites to come across and find, exactly what I need in the middle of the darn day, like a quick treat n snack
Those Saibamen facial expressions are creepy, never heard of that last game but at least it sold well, I guess
I needed this in my life rn❤
I can't wait for the next video of what else they show. I wonder if you will show anything from the original Boudekai
Something worth looking into for your videos. When i would play as Super Buu In Budokai 2, I swore that I could pick which character I would absorb by clicking a certain button. I remember being a kid and trying to test it, and the result was I absorbed Gotenks five times in a row. So it may not be completely random
I love it when my favorite youtubers post at 11 pm, quality.

That ad was one of the best uses of the Prowler theme I've ever witnessed.

Great video!
I really like when you visit some older games not a lof of people talk about like the gba ones, I hope you someday take a look at the variety of DBZ games that existed for the SNES
Love ya content, King👑
Here in Italy I can enjoy this video right at the start of the morning.
Yo the transition at 9:37 is hella fire
Oh I got a good one in your video from last year you showed us that toribot appears in the world tournament stage in Budokai 2 but it's not the first game he appears in another game called tobal no 1 a fighting game from the 90s and he's actually a playable character you can unlock
The thought on Frieza making Buu weaker is probably from Gotenks defusing inside buu and making piccolo take over
One thing I always loved about DBZ BT3 is that game was so true to the source material they even had an electricity ssj 2 glitch where if you used anyone in the game that has ssj 2 or 3 and you do a versus battle and rematch it electricity is gone on all ssj 2 and 3 characters specifically that was accurate to the anime in itself because electricity wasnt always shown for ssj 2 and 3 in the anime
I don't remember Gohan's missing arm nor the steam on majin buu. They didn't make any game with Gohan missing his arm for the longest time because it was "too gruesome" for kids to see back then and it was too hard to code in apparently, it wasn't until Dragon Ball Legends finally made one that now he's popping up everywhere
Hello Mr @KaDazee, DBZ/Anime games mythbuster extraordinare, realy like your videos and your narrations are so relaxing. Here is my question: on the budokai tenkaichi games, in the beam struggles, when it's decided who is the winner? I always assume is when the close-up scene when the beam aproach the losser. If that's the case, can you make a comeback after that part of the cinematic is shown?
The goat uploaded once again
Hi Kadazee that ki debuff state you get after using the blast 1 full power or power up to the very limit
You can actually immediately get rid of that debuff by simply powering down back to base form if you initiated it in super saiyan form
You know why I love Goku SSJ2? In BT3 his super attacks only consume 2 Kis
Love the channel.
I'm probably misremembering, but I remember that during the story mode chapter where you play as 2nd form cell if you keep using the drain life attack against 18 in BT3, there's a random chance you can get ki and health from her. Again, this might be my mind playing tricks on me it has been years. Keep up the great work.
Ive played it a bit and havent had this, its one of the weirdest missions tho since 2nd form cell is supposed to be strojger than 18 and 16, yet they HARD counter him by being androids to the point he can only use big bang crash lol
Another weird thing about Good Buu is that from BT2 to 3,he lost his signature Chocolate Beam technique. It's weird since he's the form that used it the most (or at least for turning to sweets in general)
if i remember correctly, fighterz buffs characters during cutscenes as a trick to make the scenes look more dramatic and stuff like that, as you said, they play with the models a lot
The only other technical reason that Buu gets weaker due to absorption is when Gotenks defused inside of him so his power and form took on the appearance of Piccolo who was stronger than the two boys.
To give a possible technical explanation for why the steam effect and other effects were cut in BT3 despite being in BT1 and BT2, it could be hardware limitations. BT3 is an ungodly massive game for PS2 standards, so a lot of tiny stuff was probably axed to keep performance up and have the game fit on disc. Every kilobyte mattered on those old systems. Thought that's just a theory and not confirmed fact.
Buu's smoke charging thingy were actually in tenkaichi tag team, Well atleast the sound of it just the sound.
Love the late upload workin the night shift rn
I think i remembered steam for boo in tenkaichi 3 because even if it's not there visually, the sound is there.
In october this channel gonna blow up
In budokai 2 there is a glitch where if you hold L2 and L1 and enter and exit the capsule shop you will slowly gain more items and the more items you have the slower it will take.A think to note you might have to spam entering and existing.
I'll say that with the Cell FighterZ thing, because the camera zooms out so much they still wanted to be able to see Cell, so bulking him up is the simplest way to do that
That great Ape stomp from taiketsu HAS to be a reference to the Monty Python foot. it's the exact same movement and comedic style!
thanks for telling me about zen market
@4:02 I love the Kung Fury reference.
Regarding Scouter Vegeta going Great Ape in Tenkaichi 3- His default costume and its miscolored are actually the only ones to feature a tail. His two strealined armors from Namek don’t have tsils, but he can use the Ape with them as well. Just another bit of trivia
With all the conditions it seems like the energy thing is just a very specific but also consistent bug.
this is why I remember 2 being my favorite.Had way more details.
Taiketsu was my first DBZ game LMAO. I have a core memory of playing it at the pool after swimming classes 😅
You can remove the slow ki charge of the max power skills by simply swapping forms (either transforming or going back to base form)
You can take away the slow charge affect after using “Power up to the very limit” if you go back to your base form
Buu dapping up the ghost is so funny
Irrc correctly there was a way to get steam charging in bt3, I believe it was one of the special customization items like how you could put halos on characters and change some auras
I just found A cool one in Dragon ball z: ultimate tenkaichi. When you're in training mode or the hero creator screen, when you move the right stick, it moves with controls in the capsule corp ship you're in on the menu
14:06 I don’t think this was meant to reference that, it’s mostly just to bulk him up to be more visible in his ultimate because the camera zooms out twice from Cell. The same way Gohan’s hand gets bigger in the Father Son Kamehameha
In raging blast Freeza's death beam and you won't escape this time can penetrate through kamehameha wave but can't through a Kaioken x20
Scouter vegetas outfits 2 and 3 also don't have a tail but they still give him the great ape transformation. Probably because they didn't want to make a sperate vegeta for the frieza saga, since most of scouter vegetas moves are from the frieza saga, rather than the saiyan saga
So I commented this on another vid. When playing rgb 2, if you time your strong attacks correctly, you do more damage. Try doing the Ki canon as an example, (invisble blast of air) If it's timed correctly, you'll send the opponent flying as if you knocked them back with a charged move. Any chargeable strong attack has a stronger variation if you time it correctly. Even chargeable ki blast.
The TeamFourStar video of Taiketsu when they play Krillin is absolutely hilarious. "My signature technique!" Kick! Kick! Kick!
I think why the share your energy with me skill works on the very hard mode is because it might just be trying to make it slightly easier for the player since their playing on the hardest difficulty
Maybe Buu doesn't gain power from Frieza because of the way Frieza fights. This is before resurrection F, so Frieza still doesn't have the ability to use his full power that well, so maybe Buu has the same thing.
Full Power _might_ be useful if done during a Dragon Dash or most Rush supers to try to catch the opponent off guard with the stagger. Other than that though, yeah, you only wanna use it if your opponent is too far and/or knocked down, or in the middle of charging.
19:25 oh hey, a McMuscles cameo lol
Dont know if anyone noticed but in bt3, if Android 18 uses her jumping charged ki blast, she fires a yellow destructo disc yet her super attack is purple. If (however) you fire the charged ki blast version and then use the super attack version, the destructo disc's will start to glow purple and then turn yellow with a purple outline. Only noticed when using random charachters.
7:52 just to comment how cool is to see the Genkidama growing in the sky...
Thumbnail got me😂😂
Regarding Super Buu, theoretically Absorptions always put Super Buu + Strongest Person + the techniques and intelligence of others, the best example would be:
Buutenks (Super Buu + Gotenks SSJ3 + Piccolo Intelligence and techniques + Goten and Trunks techniques) then when the fusion ended it was: Super Buu + Piccolo + Goten and Trunks techniques.
In the original canon of the manga, if Super Buu absorbed Tien and Yamcha it would be: Super Buu + Tien + Yamcha techniques
In Budokai 2 it is clear that Tien and Yamcha have an equal base power level and this theoretically (again) would divide the focus of the absorption like:
Super Buu + Tien/Yamcha (the two as the strongest of absorption, dividing the focus and making it weaker) or
Super Buu + Super Buu (still the strongest) + Tien and Yamcha techniques (which seems to be the case with Frieza's absorption)
I remember there being a what if in a game where cell accidentally absorbs krillin and thanks to krillin being so weak compared to semi perfect cell it made him weaker maybe if buu absorbs someone in him they fuse a bit and it makes him weaker but there’s one thing that might disproves it in the what if it’s actually a nightmare cell has so idk it’s a decent theory I think
Thats fast wow
7:53 Vegeta kicked at the same time when He lost his energy
Eating cereal while watching this banger 🗣
I think Buu not having steam is a reference to no longer having evil Buu in him. When Buu got super mad the steam coalesced into the skinny evil Buu
W vid my man now will you let me out the basement I wanna play sparking zero when it's out
Nah man the tekken 5 soundtrack while u talk is the best thing ever 🔥🔥🔥
Thats interesting, I always thought Cell going bulky doing the Solar Kamamaheha was a model error. Not that he intentionally went bulky to power up. Now maybe its just a stronger variant of a Solar Kamehameha.
When Dotodoya is mentioned in this video, I can hear him laughing
18:30 thats a Crazzy Detail
