- In this video we show our newest printer the Qidi Tech 1. Now this printer has been on the market for a while, but it is new to use. It has a feature that we are super excited to try and that is that it has dual extruders. We have never used anything like this before, so we decided to give it a try with our very own Eitri 3D Maker’s Coin. We show you how we built ours using Fusion 360, but we do not give a step by step instructions as this was more of an opportunity to test the functions of this printer. Oh you will love the Qidi Tech 1. That was my first printer. But I would use a mirror glass plate. I know a lot about this printer. I made 💯 key change with 2 different colors for $5.00 a piece. Almost payed for it self.
Yeah we’re excited to play around with it. I got a feeling we’re going to learn a lot about it with it being a used one and already had to tighten some belts. But we are definitely excited for the challenge. Any specific mirror plate you’d recommend?

That’s great to hear, especially since I just smoked my extruder and have to wait close to 6 weeks before the new one arrives.
