    It was great to have both cats in this class, as usual it was another good class. Being yoga people we like stretching so it suits us.

    Oh I love the music. I'm got an ENT infection right now so I can't try the class today but it was relaxing just watching and listening to the lovely piano. Have a blessed week.

    I have been stretching for 2 months for my splits, I haven't got them yet, sometimes it's frustrating but I am glad that I am still trying! Also as a pianist I always feel a deep connection with piano music for some music. I am never really classically trained but sometimes classical musics are really dope :D also I'm joining cheer this year because this has been something that I wanna try for a long time, wish me luck!! :D

    As an old soccer player it doesn't look quite the same way as you do it ;-) still feels great and a lot more flexible afterwards.

      Soccer players doesn't work as hard as dancers.

      Quetzalcoatl Topiltzin I only meant that most soccer players aren't that flexible but that this stretch routine still felt great, even though I barely touched my toes ;-)

      Every athlete works hard to achieve their target and goals. We all have different trainings but it doesn't mean one works less than the other. We all can learn different skills from different disciplines and sports, that's why to be a well knowledge and strong athlete one must train their body in every aspect. :) Love Alessia

    ı ve question whether the repetition is more important than tension? should ı make less but in high tension should ı make more and softly? which one gives a quicker result? thank u so much for all of your videos, efforts and your kindness :) @lazydancertips

    I just did this workout because I wanted something relaxing before bed, and I like the music, and I like the ballet feel. I like the flowing, slow movements. I couldn't go into the positions shown in the video, though, so I did the best I could. I did follow a couple other of the Lazy Dancer videos before this one. I'm glad I ended with this one. I feel better now. Thank you Allessia (excuse my spelling of your name).

      Thank you Carol for joining me in this! I'm so happy you fell more relaxed and well done :) It doesn't matter if we can't do everything right away, remember that this is a journey to feeling better and happier :)
      Lots of love and happy dancing

      Yes, it's a journey for feeling better and happier, as you said. For me, it's not a journey with an end goal of being able to physically do the things a ballerina can do. I'm in my 60s, and I did take some ballet lessons as a young child, and I find that now I just love dancing and getting my body to move, at least that's one of the paths of the journey I'm on.

    I've just discovered your channel and I am so excited about all those dancing workouts I need to try !! However I have a very poor ankle flexibility and that's really annoying. Can you make a video with exercises on how to increase it ? Or maybe could you recommend one if you have already done it ?

    • @lazydancertips
      @lazydancertips  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Elisa you may want to try the theraband exercises for feet and ankles, they are perfect for mobilising and strengthening :) Head over to the playlists, anything for ankles and feet will be good for you :) Love Alessia :)

    Hi Alessia ! I am french so I am sorry if I make mistakes.. I have seen that you have a website with a 4 weeks program to learn point ! I have never practice point before, so I want to know ( before to subscribe ) if it's possible to learn with you ? without risks ? But I practice modern jazz despite 4 years so I hope your answer will be yes ! Thank you for your answer ,
    Bye !

    • @lazydancertips
      @lazydancertips  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Marie, apologies for the late reply! The programme for pointe i have in the studio is very simple and if you need any advice on the exercises i always give priority to the Studio comments. I tested those exercises on my beginners ladies in london and they very much enjoyed them.
      I guess you have the basics for ballet, considering you do modern jazz( technique goes very much hand in hand) therefore you could give it a go and start your pointe work journey. If you have any more questions let me know and i'll be very happy to give you all the answers :) Love Alessia

    Omg such a smooth stretching routine 😍👌 Also um if I wanna get my middle splits, should I just work on stretches just for that, or would it be better to do a whole body stretch so I could be more flexible overall? Sorry if that doesn't make sense 😅

    • @lazydancertips
      @lazydancertips  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Danila, i'm pleased you enjoyed the routine! Bravo! Your question makes perfect sense. There are many muscle groups involved to achieve a split and I highly recommend you work them all
      Here you go the playlists of exercises that will help you out achieving your goal :)
