@@Talariaboys wooop!! Good to hear that. Would love to see a detailed comparison between the MX4 and MX5. Seems at this point the 5 is head and shoulder above the 4. Thanks for your analysis. B
Yep, SurRonster stated in his first video about it and confusing everyone as it was just guessed by looking at the gauge when at minimal miles but many reports of people riding together and when they finish their percentages are nearby each other. But like TB said on this video they are doing a true range test on them to compare. I think they will find it very similar to others out there is my guess.
i do 62-63 out the box on my eride pro 👀... last check tho i checked and it was 59 mph but at 79% hill give or take idk!!! 75mph if ya gear down 4.5T easy / Definitely more range then 32 in fact at 32 im prolly at 50 maybe 45 % ....
Ya your speedometer is just off your not really doing that fast. And no you wouldn't do 75 with a sprocket change. Yes it can get more than 32 miles range.. If you ride slower
Maybe 75 with a sprocket change and without the controller being limited as they stated in the video where it tapers near 60. But the ultimate question if top speed is concerned is how it would fair with a sprocket change to say 44 and an aftermarket controller. I wonder how much Talaria lets us access the batter/BMS restrictions if any with an aftermarket controller
How punchy is it accelerating past 20 mph? is there enough power to pop a wheelie when you’re already 20, 25, or 30? that’s my biggest beef with my Mx4 is that I’m not able to do some of the more aggressive Hill climbs because I can’t pick up speed fast enough when climbing uphill past 20 miles an hour or so.
Would love to get your thoughts on this vs ERP SS for heavy riders. I know the ERPs frame is rated for 300lbs and the suspension sits higher in the stroke, so would love to hear how the MX5 would fare for us Clydesdales
Have you guys ever done a video on the X3 Concept? Seems to be the cheapest bike within this E bike category. Would be interesting to get the channels insight on that particular bike
I currently have the mx4. Idk if you guys have had the same problem. When I hit bumps or even lift the rear end off the ground manually I get a clunking noise in the rear end. It's not the battery. I contacted amped bikes and they say the bikes just come like that out of the factory. Do you guys happen to know what causes this and how to fix it? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. The noise is driving me crazy.
I’m curious, if anyone can help answer this for me. Why does a 72v e-bike have more range than a 72v e-scooter? Does the difference in the drive motors between hub and stand alone with the chain or belt dissipate heat better for more range on the bike?
72v is just the voltage of the battery not the size or capacity.... This bike might have a much larger battery even though its the same voltage. Does that makes sense?
@@Talariaboys Okay I see what you’re saying, so for example A 72v40Ah battery in a scooter vs the bike, how would that vary? Or does it also depend on the controller and the continuous peak amps?
@@MoneymanRome Depends on many factors such as weight, gear ratio, hub vs chain losses, wheel and sprocket size, etc. But if the battery is the same but all the other above are different then would be different. BTW, volts x amps = watts. If all the EXACT same and watt hours the same then should be same range.

i do 62-63 out the box on my eride pro 👀... last check tho i checked and it was 59 mph but at 79% hill give or take idk!!!
What settings can you change using the display? I assume throttle sensitivity would be in there right?
No throttle settings, just wheel size and gear ratio to adjust speedometer and a few other things.
How punchy is it accelerating past 20 mph? is there enough power to pop a wheelie when you’re already 20, 25, or 30?
that’s my biggest beef with my Mx4 is that I’m not able to do some of the more aggressive Hill climbs because I can’t pick up speed fast enough when climbing uphill past 20 miles an hour or so.
idk specifically what speed it can lift the wheel but its a lot faster than the mx4... it has 5.5 more kw
Pumped for this one!
Just sold my house and was going to buy an MX4 with some of my earnings. Know what I’m getting now instead
Would love to get your thoughts on this vs ERP SS for heavy riders. I know the ERPs frame is rated for 300lbs and the suspension sits higher in the stroke, so would love to hear how the MX5 would fare for us Clydesdales
How’s the range?
Mx5 is way way way way better for the bigger heavier guys. The frame and suspension is far more supportive
Good
Have you guys ever done a video on the X3 Concept? Seems to be the cheapest bike within this E bike category. Would be interesting to get the channels insight on that particular bike
Yes we have lots of videos on the talaria xxx
@@Talariaboys isn’t the X3 concept different than the xxx?
Yo
Edit
first
Ride height comparison to eride?
Fattest street tire?
Please make a supermoto build
Ride height is very very close, I'm not sure what size street tire
I currently have the mx4. Idk if you guys have had the same problem. When I hit bumps or even lift the rear end off the ground manually I get a clunking noise in the rear end. It's not the battery. I contacted amped bikes and they say the bikes just come like that out of the factory. Do you guys happen to know what causes this and how to fix it? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. The noise is driving me crazy.
Did you get the one with the new battery? heard Luna was replacing it
what trails near SLC do you recommend for beginners?! My MX5 is one the way!
Congrats! There are some fun trails up by the Bountiful B Offroad area
That bike is sick lol wish knew this come out when got mx4 I have time travel back n wait till today n buy this owell no such thing lol❤
What do you guys think about a 16 inch rear wheel on the MX5?
There are no wheel upgrades that are compatible with the mx5 right now
