Yeah for sure do with 16 inch and good tire but also tell your buddy putting his feet down is only for balance he keeps taking his weight off bike and that doesn't help keep as much weight pushing into foot pegs. You can also do fast burst weight down then de weight the bike to get first 2-3 feet then smooth on throttle with to continue traction.. but with tires like that it's no surprise and dry ground you were all over the place. Last would be you are sitting down to much going downhill and you have lazy foot syndrome. :) good video showing what a stock bike can do.. What was the final range you did ? maybe I missed that
Sheeshhhh you drove this bike like a man. Put my riding skills to shame. I have an MX4 put around 10 thousand into it. It has become my prized possession.
i have the sotion motor, Nucular P24F Controller, 72 volt battery on my MX3. I feel ripped off seeing I had to pay so much for what now can be obtained on stock units.
@@shockadellick do you think that would be a good time to pull the trigger on buying one? I am hoping to get one within the next year, but it seems like they’re always making improvements every year and I would hate to buy this one within a year and then they come out with something even better!
@@brennerborec3422i don’t know if they’re ever would be a good time. every few months they come out with a new model with better technology. the eride pro ss just came out like 7 months ago and blew every bike out of the water. now the mx5 is coming out with even better performance
Cool video. Would be sick if you uploaded in 4k tho even if the footage is 1080, just because the compression is rough on youtube's "1080" mode during fast moving sections.
hey fam, those are MTB forks therefore you have preload on the left side (tighten or lose the spring for it to be stiffer or not) right side is rebound (how quickly the forks go back to the zero position) maybe that helps.
@@LydgeBell you have the right idea on going to the 16” it opens up better tire sizes. The front can handle a bigger size as well since they widened the forks. Great video!
@@stephenmccabe9941 when I can absolutely! GoPro doesn’t do a good job showing how steep this hill is which is why I am pushing with the feet. The stock tire isn’t helping either😂

Should we try climbing the hill again? Comment below
Try a different rear tire and do it again!
@@josephbicking23I’m hoping they come out with a 16” rear for the new mx5

yes for sure with a new rear tire setup
Best mx5 test so far
I’ll tell you one thing, you sure as shit tested the durability. 😂 Great job with the riding and keep us updated on how the bike treats you.
😂Gave it a good first run. Appreciate the watch and will do!
Sick dudes! Electric is getting impressive!
Honestly for the price, thing thing ripped!
Definitely making me want an electric bike!!
This is definitely a great option

I appreciate it man! Super excited to build this thing, definitely more to come👍

Need to disconnect the brake sensors and utilize your breaking regeneration on the downhill
came here to say this
Content is fire 🔥
Thank you 🤙 More coming
You were absolutely ripping it on that vertical section 😂
I was gassed at the top LOL
Awesome vid thanks, what was the final range you achieved?
23 miles
Got mine last week things so sick
Seems these bikes have no throttle control - on/off? Your backyard you maintain it.
Dope video bro
Thank you 🤙

Agreed this will be fixed next upload
They better hire you guys for durability testing
Please compare with the new e rides and atlis if you can would be a great real deal experience
Is that Domerie peak? Did you use regen on the downhills?
good stuff man

oh boy.
O-kay.
May want to unplug the brake sensors
Yes agreed that was causing some issues for sure
Is this comfortable for an adult! ?
if you want to keep the oem rear wheel though get a set of TUSK GROUNDWIREs
Ultimately want a 16” rear but haven’t seen anything available yet for this bike
Hmm he was in eco and used more battery towards the beginning and got stuck on wait for 10 min did you figure out the wait situation
Just had to hit the start button
So stoked for mine to get here. How long was your shipping time?
You are going to love it. And a couple weeks
I should buy one
Are you guys in the PNW?
Damn this thing rip for sure 🔥🔥🔥
We love them so far🤙
You can look at Tusk tires for e-bikes if you are not changing the wheel size.
I want to do a 16” rear as soon as one comes out! Tires would make a huge difference

"where you at? 71%" the guy that was in eco mode "64%" lol
Extreme durability test? You brutalized it out of the box!
Round 2 coming up
do you think the mx4 has better range?
@@samburns6405 I think it would be very comparable
I’m exhausted, just watching this
Why have they not put a transmission on these bikes? Would it not make sense? If not, how could it not make sense?
does he know that hyper mode on it exists?
I'd still run an air filter, but on my helmet.
How many miles did you end up doing? We’re you on full battery?
Full battery and unsure, will check later today!
23 miles
Nice!!! What battery percentage was it after 23 miles
@@lifewithjlu 8 percent left👍
I hope the aliens will retun them safely in time for Haloween.
you should really record in 4k, any movement in the video looks like crap
Agreed! Will upload in higher quality next video
Dónde la venden en México?
Id recommend a 16inch rear wheel and tire
also you will use alot less battery because you will have traction
100% agree just waiting for something to become available
A gas powered bike would have made it up that hill much easier because of the torque curve.
Dude do you ever put your feet on the pegs looks like you are looking to break your foot keep your feet on the pegs save your ass some pain
@@stephenmccabe9941 when I can absolutely! GoPro doesn’t do a good job showing how steep this hill is which is why I am pushing with the feet. The stock tire isn’t helping either😂
Is anyone knows if I can buy one of this in Europe?
When is #2????
@@habiba3255 tonight 👍
Try keeping your feet on the pegs an stand up more. Also this uphill sitting and unloading the bike doesnt help with traction.
you need tires atleast bro the stock tires are TERRIBLE. junk throw them away and make sure the brakes are bed in
Yeah most issues climbing aren't due to a lack of power cause they have so much torque. It's just shit traction from the stock tires
😂 well done
