@talariaboys I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on one of these and am leaning towards the Talaria but really like the Pro SS 2.0. Does the frame on the Pro SS feel like it flexes much? I'm 225lbs and am worried about that. Also, I'm going to go for a fairly big power build. Do you feel like the Pro SS can handle much more power with the belt drive?
Here in UK its almost impossible to get a 79bike or the E-Bike Pro SS unless you are happy waiting 60-90 days. So for us guys over the pond it's the talaria sting R,or Apollo RFN Rally pro (which needs upgrading) which makes it more expensive than a Suron Ultra B. I would like to see the E-Bike Pro SS WITH UPGRADES against the Suron Ultra B Stock... so evens out the cost
I live in the Netherlands, and riding my Talaria Sting R for some two weeks now, for my great pleasure The Bike is slighty different than the US model. I do have a screen like the E-ride pro, and the headlight is the same as the one as shown loose of the bikes. Im 65 years. Great Vid!
Hey guys, I just want to say thank you 4 every thing you , every morning I wake up and have my coffee and watch you guys, I was recently homeless in downtown Chicago, and making the wrong decisions for 20 years, I just recently got my act together two years ago, I almost died, my relationship with my mom is real good right now. I’m an only child I’m 37 years old and so far behind in life saved up my little money I had and spent everything on an electric scooter and then five months ago I was hit by an Amazon truck and it was totaled and was not compensated for anything because it was my fault but I thought I had something because the driver left me there. Yeah that’s right he left me there/shit and run but he said that he didn’t know I hit him because it was cargo in the back bouncing around, which was a complete lie, anyways, I don’t have anything now I’m trying to save up for a bike, just want to say thank you guys I love you guys man

Hey guys, I’ve had my mx4 for 6 months now. Just wondering, what maintenance do I need to do on it, and what products will I need? I just wanna keep it running like brand new, like oils, lubricants, greasing parts, etc. What will I need and what should I do? Also what first upgrades do you recommend. I've had a graphics kit and light bar, but that's it. I have noticed the braking performance is not very good. Might upgrade to Shimano H03C pads or the Hope Tech E4 brakes. Have you actually ridden any of these bikes and the ultra bee? There is actually a big difference in size and weight. This video was just about comparing these similar sized and priced bikes, that’s why the talaria xxx wasn’t in there either.
@@Talariaboys What I'm try to say is I wish you had included these other bikes like the XXX light bee mx3 and ultra. While they might have slight differences in size weight and power they all pretty much occupy the same area. It could be really cool to get a comparison between all the major models out right now. Ultra bee is a little heavy at 40lbs more than a mx4 but the increased battery capacity accounts for about half that. Ebmx 57ah would make the difference only roughly 22lbs more. Also the increase size is good for taller riders and more suspension travel. And most of all is barely more money than the eride. Cheapest eride I could find was only $150 less than the ultra overseas
I would have to disagree with the suspension and would have gave it to the Eride based on its payload capacity alone (300lbs). The sting R is (220 lbs). An 80 lbs difference: wonder which fork setup would give out sooner based on that info. I feel like this was swept under the rug and should have been included in this segment. heavier duty suspension would be better for jumps, heavy riding, more airtime. and so on.
Now that we have more time on the E-Ride it absolutely has the worst fork we have every tested, we have blown out 3 of them in only a couple hundred miles. The talaria suspension is so much better and will easily handle a heavier rider better. The Talaria doesn't really have only a 220lb weight limit
Great vid guys! In regards to the 79 Bike, just wanted to point out that if you live in California it only takes about 6 weeks to get it. Also, shouldn’t the fact that the Falcon M comes with a name brand Sotion motor have gotten at least an honorable mention?

Im confused on the surron and e bike brand .e bike better out of the box. But does the upgrades in the surron account for wear and tear . Like if something breaks cant you upgrade anyways ..were as the ss u have to just find parts ?
Love the content! I have a talaría sting Mx4 and I love it. Strictly ride on road, there isn’t much off road options in miami. Would be nice to see videos best way to set up your bike for on road use, how to install turn signal kit (would have helped me a lot! Tire options besides the over priced super moto tires etc.keep up the great work guys!
Another great video. I'm going to by thr talaria. I want a quiet smooth bike for hunting. Not to worried about massive power output. But I need ride hours
I am near 70 years and 5’5 160lb looking for a lighter bike than my 230lb Yamaha XT225 in rugged hills and sand . No need for super fast. Reliable, easy handling to keep me riding. Replacement battery cost /warranty are important. Any suggestions ? Seems the talaria would be best.
So much great info and videos from you guys! Thank you! I saw your ++/+ settings on your website. I wanted to know what Alex and Reeds weights were. I was trying to setup the pressures in my EXT Ferro Forks. I'm 180/185lbs. Just trying to find that sweet spot. Thanks!
These bikes are better than surron. if you're interested in range, check out our range test videos. we hold full throttle in sport mode and eco mode until the batteries die.
I'm getting E Ride SS Pro today!!!! I think I'll try using Zip Ties on front Fork since no protective rings on them... What type of pro tapers grips are those? How do you like the bike after having it awhile? I might use a smaller rear wheel. Might go 21 inches up front... Thaink that would be good upgrade? Think you!! Could go 19/21 or maybe 16/19? any thoughts would be appreciated! : )
I watch all the videos guys, great job, I'm in Scottsdale AZ thinking about opening an E bike shop. I have a quick question I was goin to see if I could get answered, and I think this is probably a super common one that many have. 1. I bought the mx4 sting r. Right out the box it's running 53mph. I'm cruising my city roads (Scottsdale AZ) and people in Arizona (& U.S. in general) drive fast almost always 10 mph over. What is the cheapest and easiest thing to do to my bike that will gain it the ability to go 60mph, so that I can stop upsetting all the Jeff Gordon's on the road?? Please and thanks guys
I am currently in Mexico, i couldnt order the SS pro from here! So i just ordered yesterday the sting R from Alibaba, $3900 with shipping and tax included! Lets goo! ( It comes with mirrors and screen display too )
WHats good guys... thanks for putting out all this super useful contact. I was thinking of getting a E Ride because the weight limit is greater but after hearing your 250lbs rider comment and frame flex in the E Ride. I am a avid mountain biker who freerides as well. Having one of these to jump on, do drops and ride would be awesome. I'm a 250 lbs rider. Do you think the Tallaria would be better for me than the E RIde?
Hey would you guys be able to get hold of a coafen f80 and later an fx and range test them etc. Theyre a lot more expensive so want to know if they're worth the money. Cheers!
@@Talariaboys Cool well hopefully you do it's only bike in this class that has a self heating / cooling system for the battery which is pretty interesting! They also do a 60AH battery which is huge for a factory bike. ( Default is 48Ah for the road version)

What's the best battery to buy for talaria mx3. Mostly street riding. 70% street 30% off road. Love range and a little power. What does the talaria boys suggest 💪👍💪👍
If you're being honest there's no bike out of the box better than the eride pross 2.0! If you're talking about upgrading the Talaria may be for you but it's going to cost a lot to make it as good or slightly better than the epro... period. It's amazing as is and upgrades will be coming

i weigh 300 pounds (gonna start losing weight) , would a sting r or pro ss be able to hold me? i would mainly just ride trails and open roads. not really interested in jumps and all those shenanigans. Thanks!
Good review but the whole speed thing is a bit biased towards the Eride, yes its faster but only in a short burst and top speed is relatively similar to the Sting R, its not as dominant as this review implies its grossly exaggerated due to it being a super short race where you can use the boost function which cant even be sustained
Have you actually ridden all three? The E-ride is actually way faster all the time, we have 425 miles on ours already. We also actually didn't even use the boost button in the drag races.
@@Talariaboys I've ridden the Eride and Sting R and truthfully didnt think it was a huge difference personally, especially over longer distances also I think reliability should have been a category too imo and Talaria is the only one which has a decent history the other two are too new to comment on in that regard, You could say theres a degree of personal opinion but imo the Sting is still top dog and would have been so even in your own review if that category had been included (which I think is a fair and reasonable category to have) but yeah like I said a good review anyway
Off topic but what size sprocket do you recommend for a 200lb guy on a MX3 I ride mostly back roads and the woods (Love your videos) you guys are part of the reason I got an e bike
Sup guys. Everyone else i look it says the 79 Falcon weighs 130lbs, here you say it weighs 143. Thats a pretty big difference. Is it really 143 pounds???
Just got my eride pro yesterday and I love it. One thing I was questioning was the foot pegs because it looks like I should have another mount to the frame but I only got the pegs with the studs on it. Is that right?
There’s a plate with holes in it for adjustments that attaches to the frame then a piece that attaches to that and Then you attach your foot peg to that piece it’s kind of small you must be missing that piece because when I ordered new foot pegs it didn’t come with them. Foot peg bracket idk what it’s called

@@ziphussle disagree ...Spent 3700 for the RFN with 43ah battery and the software upgrade on the controller is on $200...that puts me in under $4K , $800 cheaper than the E-Ride
So anyone can chime in on this question. I have a Talaria Sting mx3. Some upgrades, but stock 60v, 38ah battery and controller. Should I sell it for around $3k, and buy an e-ride or just do a battery upgrade on the one I have?
Lots of factors to decide man, do you want more power? Or more range? Or both? Buying a battery and controller will cost you over $3k so You'd cost more than a pro ss but would have more power than it. All depnds on what you want, if you want to keep it all simple Id sell and get a pro ss.

I was wondering if you guys were using the e pros turbo button in the drag races and if you were, how fast do you think it would be compared to the talaria without the turbo
No we did not use the turbo button, we have the latest controller tune on our bike like they come now which basically turns off the turbo button, it still does a tiny bit when you push it but we never use it honestly. It’s just fast
I can tell you aren't seasoned dirt bike riders because you overlook the importance of a good well-dialed front & rear suspension. Too much emphasis on drag strip riding.
Front and rear suspension were categories… and drag racing was an entirely different category. We mentioned in the video that each of us spent hours on each bike on the trails pushing them to see what we liked best.

Past CRF250 trail rider doing research on this eMoto phenomenon. I like what I see and hoping you do a similar comparison with the new MX5.
Coming soon!
Great vid guys! In regards to the 79 Bike, just wanted to point out that if you live in California it only takes about 6 weeks to get it. Also, shouldn’t the fact that the Falcon M comes with a name brand Sotion motor have gotten at least an honorable mention?
lol you don't know anything about branding and chit being made in china do you?
yes, we definitely should have gave the 79 bike an honorable mention for the sotion motor.
Can you guys please make a video on maintenance for the E Ride Pro SS
We should, good idea
@@Talariaboys that would be sweeet!
Another great video. I'm going to by thr talaria. I want a quiet smooth bike for hunting. Not to worried about massive power output. But I need ride hours
You'll love it!
Congrats on the website!!!
Thank you!!
I am near 70 years and 5’5 160lb looking for a lighter bike than my 230lb Yamaha XT225 in rugged hills and sand . No need for super fast. Reliable, easy handling to keep me riding. Replacement battery cost /warranty are important. Any suggestions ? Seems the talaria would be best.
yea talaria would be a great pick (mx4)
So much great info and videos from you guys! Thank you! I saw your ++/+ settings on your website. I wanted to know what Alex and Reeds weights were. I was trying to setup the pressures in my EXT Ferro Forks. I'm 180/185lbs. Just trying to find that sweet spot. Thanks!
Alex weighs around 165 lbs and Reed weighs around 180lbs Alex likes the fork slightly stiffer and Reed likes it very plush
Do a review on the goat motor's Dirt Goat. Looks pretty good. Wonder a professional's input like you.
How did you NOT test range? And throw the surron in the mix too!?
These bikes are better than surron. if you're interested in range, check out our range test videos. we hold full throttle in sport mode and eco mode until the batteries die.
@@Talariaboys I’m not saying they aren’t: just would of been nice to include the OG with the most aftermarket support that’s all
I'm getting E Ride SS Pro today!!!! : )
Are they street legal?
What’s a good super moto version of these? Just change the tires?
Not street legal, Just change the tires
Really to get this bike to go 60 mph your going to need a new controller and even a new battery.
@@Talariaboys If I get the torp 500 controller and throw it on my stock 60v 45ah (43.5ah) battery would that get me to 60mph?
Should I get xxx or eride pro s
I am currently in Mexico, i couldnt order the SS pro from here! So i just ordered yesterday the sting R from Alibaba, $3900 with shipping and tax included! Lets goo! ( It comes with mirrors and screen display too )
Congrats dude you will love it!
Id personally take a Tallaria for the stronger frame and suspension. If you put a controller on, it'll have the same power as the Eride...
@@Talariaboys thanks so much
Erode on top baby
Hey would you guys be able to get hold of a coafen f80 and later an fx and range test them etc.
Theyre a lot more expensive so want to know if they're worth the money.
Cheers!
Maybe in the future, but we don't have plans with that bike atm
@@Talariaboys Cool well hopefully you do it's only bike in this class that has a self heating / cooling system for the battery which is pretty interesting! They also do a 60AH battery which is huge for a factory bike. ( Default is 48Ah for the road version)
We need your opinion about the new Apollo RFN 2024 with 72v and 43ah
One day!
Hey guys, love the channel! I have 1 question about the eride pross. I only weigh 165lbs & the rear suspension is so stiff! Maybe im missing something but I've done all i know to soften it up & it's still too stiff so do u know how i can make this softer? Any help would be great!
I'm surprised it feels really stiff for you, have you changed the preload and other settings?
@@Talariaboys sure have, I have tried everything! Do u think I should contact eride pross or do you have any idea as to what is wrong? Thanks for responding 🫡
What's the best battery to buy for talaria mx3. Mostly street riding. 70% street 30% off road. Love range and a little power. What does the talaria boys suggest 💪👍💪👍
Do you have an upgraded controller or just stock?
@@Talariaboys I have the torp tc500 thanks to you guys
If you're being honest there's no bike out of the box better than the eride pross 2.0! If you're talking about upgrading the Talaria may be for you but it's going to cost a lot to make it as good or slightly better than the epro... period. It's amazing as is and upgrades will be coming
Yea but with tax and shipping it cost $6800
@@jaws_drinks_water389 yeah that's only if you're unfortunate enough to live in the worst state in the U.S...Cali. For everyone else it costs $5,250! I really feel bad for regular ppl in Cali and the big Dem cities... the government has y'all locked up on taxes, regulations and immigrants. But that's another story all together. I hope you love whatever bike you have and stay safe 🤜🤛
how does surron not compete with these... i don't get it🤷♀
I'll take a surron
i weigh 300 pounds (gonna start losing weight) , would a sting r or pro ss be able to hold me? i would mainly just ride trails and open roads. not really interested in jumps and all those shenanigans. Thanks!
The sting R would definitely be a better option for you. It’s heavier and stronger. The suspension is also stronger
@@Talariaboysbesides the rear spring , any other upgrades you'd recommend for my weight?
@@Talariaboys Really? The Sting R is rated for 250lbs max rider weight, the Pro SS is rated for 300lbs..
Great review man appreciate the time and effort you put into this video !!!
thx 🙏
I would really like to see you review the Rerode R1, have you seen this new e moto?
Yea we are trying but can’t get ahold of the company
No Rawrr Mantis?
Nope
Off topic but what size sprocket do you recommend for a 200lb guy on a MX3 I ride mostly back roads and the woods
(Love your videos) you guys are part of the reason I got an e bike
I’d go to maybe a 52 tooth. If you go to big you’ll lose a lot of top speed and make the throttle really jumpy
@Talariaboys What bike stand is that in the middle that the Eride is on?
www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-scissor-lift-stand-p
Hey guys can you test out the new 2024 talaria R theres a new logo on the motor and stuff but I still don't know if it has fixes or power changes
It’s identical. No changes besides cosmetic.
@@Talariaboys My friend recently bought one but i felt that the eco was a lot stronger than the 2023
Have you tried running the rear 19” tires on the front for a little more beef in the front? Like the Tusk for example?
You could do that if you wanted but the front tusk tire works great so we haven’t felt the need to
I just ordered some hand guards from you. Congrats on the new store.
Sup guys. Everyone else i look it says the 79 Falcon weighs 130lbs, here you say it weighs 143. Thats a pretty big difference. Is it really 143 pounds???
Ya its really that heavy, its a pretty beefy frame and we have weighed it 3 times on 2 different scales and it just feels heavier anyway.
im 5' 5". is the talaria really that big? how would it be for me? have to flat foot one side only and both feet down would be tippy toeing?
You would still fit ok
How do you turn the lights on when they don't come with a switch?
Add a light switch tbelectricmoto.com/search?type=product&q=Light+switch
Just got my eride pro yesterday and I love it. One thing I was questioning was the foot pegs because it looks like I should have another mount to the frame but I only got the pegs with the studs on it. Is that right?
What do you mean? Can you explain in more detail?
There’s a plate with holes in it for adjustments that attaches to the frame then a piece that attaches to that and Then you attach your foot peg to that piece it’s kind of small you must be missing that piece because when I ordered new foot pegs it didn’t come with them. Foot peg bracket idk what it’s called
Based on the vid it looks like you’re in Utah. Where do you recommend riding?
yep we are in Utah, you should ride at the Delle, Knolls, Ben Lomond in Ogden, or if you like track ride at the Jordan River OHV
Which exact pillow top grips are those I can’t find the black ones
Where are you looking at them?
@@Talariaboys Amazon they only have the black grip then the inner part is gray.
Do you know what seats will fit on the Eride pro ss? I’m 6’3 220 and the stock one is just not comfortable
Not sure. I agree that seat is uncomfortable. Someone needs to come out with a better option.
Is the bike an OK height for you? I had original SURRON and sold as felt too small.
can you cut the governor on the falcon
it doesn't come with a governor.
still can't get a talaria because of the high price of the bike here in my country...tried to buy from usa but no one wants to send it to me....
I will wait to win from some giveaway😁

Talaria Sting! Has the sturdiest frame and suspension

you forgetting a verry capable bike - Apollo RFN Ares Rally pro. With new software is a beast, plus 43Ah battery
still spending $6k and another $3k to get the same as a $5k stock bike E ride 2.0 wins every time
Apollo is terrible quality

So anyone can chime in on this question. I have a Talaria Sting mx3. Some upgrades, but stock 60v, 38ah battery and controller. Should I sell it for around $3k, and buy an e-ride or just do a battery upgrade on the one I have?
Lots of factors to decide man, do you want more power? Or more range? Or both? Buying a battery and controller will cost you over $3k so You'd cost more than a pro ss but would have more power than it. All depnds on what you want, if you want to keep it all simple Id sell and get a pro ss.
@@Talariaboys Yeah it's tough. I was sold on the e-ride until I saw your Torp controller review. Now I'm torn again 🤣
I guess it will just depend on how bad my buddy wants to buy mine
Ya man, that Torp controller makes a much bigger difference on the mx4 battery though. The mx3 doesn’t change near as much.
At 6-4” Would I be too tall for the SS? If so is there something I could easily do to make it fit me?
You’d be a little big bit Lance is 6’3 and fits ok, you’d want a tall riser stem and bar and some good tires and pegs and you’d be fine!

landmoto is the new king
We mentioned in the video that each of us spent hours on each bike on the trails pushing them to see what we liked best.
you boys gonna get a stark varg?
Probably not, we aren’t good enough to really rip it haha! And we enjoy the small bike for what they are
