I'm torn between the E-ride Pro SS v2.0 or the Talaria String MX5. I may give it a month or so and check what the aftermarket parts market looks like for both.
@jasunto SAME HERE! I'm so torn! Both are fantastic options, I think the Pro decreases in power significantly at 28% battery while the MX5 retains is power until the end of its battery life. Also the MX5s gear box may be a plus over the Pro's belt fed motor.
I have a 100 miles on my mx. 5 brakes are still great. First thing I did handlebar's high riser. Hello, and Baja light I am amazed how quiet it is. My segway X260 with lighter chains. Makes way more noise I would go with charged cycle tires They make the 1919 shouldn't affect range and have better tractions. Then stock
Looking good! Loving the informative content. Just placed an order from you guys early this morning, best website to order from and love supporting some local Utah dudes!
Great content on the MX5 though ALTIS Sigma MX all day and a great option it has you can run it without fenders and it looks just like a talaria and all the other E-motos so the ALTIS can be lowkey if needed for $800 more it’s the best bang for your buck if you compare what all you get for the 💰 just my 2cents
Living in an apartment the Altis wouldn't work so well for me. I can already see the battery will be difficult to remove, it's too heavy to drag up stairs and large Lithium batteries aren't allowed indoors. I don't need 20 watts. 13.5 is more than enough plus it's less weight and better for off-road.
@@shockadellick back in the day when I lived in apartments my brother and I kept our 250F 4-strokes in our living room apartment on the second floor I wish they had these bikes back, then so quiet and easy to ride upstairs not to disturb anybody or walk it up with the throttle lol MX5 better off-road than the ALTIS I would have to strongly disagree that’s like saying the MX5 is better than the Stark Varg This is all just my two cents and at the end of the day it’s your hard earned money it’s just hard to spend that kind of money and be in that price range and not opt for $800 more and get a better bike when you’re already in that neighborhood of price point If there’s issues of batteries not allowed in your apartment/ indoor either bike battery would fall under the category of not being allowed FYI 🤷🏼♂️
@@ghostphil69 The Sigma's only advantage over the MX-5 is a larger battery. The Altis disadvantage is also a larger battery. *However, you are correct that $800 would be a cheaper way to reach more power. * However, the MX5 isn't lacking in power and doesn't need more power with such a short wheel base. However, if you race the Altis with MX5 at motocross track, a few laps in the Altis 15lbs will affect the rider's performance. * At the moment the Altis hasn't been tested. Hi, I was wondering if they increased the free space inside the swing arm and offset a bit the chain out in order to be able to fit a 110 large back tire without need to cutting the side of tire studs ?
Wondering the same thing. I seen they advertise having a stronger swingarm for the mx5 but no information about space. I will run the stock tires and maybe run the groundwire tires later until someone figures out the widest tires this thing can fit.
Does it have a compatible tail rack and side rack? Maybe racks from mx4? I want luggage storage and would prefer an mx5 as city commuter transportation. Will there be any suggestions? Thank you.
Maybe a video on Tire sizing and spacing? Since the front forks are wider and if there are any changes to the rear swingarm to fit a 3.5 inch wide tire and it's equivalents like a 100/90/16 etcetc
Hey Talaria Boys, one question, if im trying to buy shinko tires off your website does it come with only one tire or does it come with both. Thanks, Keep up the good work.
Nucular says so and they'll email you the new firmware needed. Although it only takes it to 15kw from the 12 whereas most 72v will do up to 20kw so either the controller is the limit or the battery.
Hey man, I'm happy with my pretty much stock mx4. Rear swing arm is unstable and brakes suck. Is it true that this mx5 swing arm is beefier as well as the brakes? If so, how likely would the rear swing arm, brakes, forks, and wheels fit on my mx4? Or should I sell my mx4 and get an mx5?
Looking forward to see motor gearbox compatibility. I snapped my gearbox output shaft casually riding at 8kw and left me with at 10 mi hike. I'm wondering if this is more realiable
