    The breakfast sandwich looks amazing. Home Free Alaska made a wooden bottle holder that their goat can drink from on it's own. All the babies are precious.Jessica had a great garden last year. Enjoy her channel too.

    You keep getting more and more babies. Breeding season last year can be chalked off as a success. Good for you guys. Love the bunnies. Looks like the mamas know their stuff.

    Awww, Willow had her babies. Oh my goodness, the sound of all those little footsteps is just adorable. I received my soap and lip balm yesterday. The packaging is just perfect and so is the product. What a great idea to include the samples, I love it!

    Got my coffee and my baby goat fix in, lol!! Now I know why my sprouted onions don't grow 😊 Comfrey, once established will over take the area. Great plant to grow for not only medicinal purposes, it's also referred to as green manure because it's high in nitrogen. We've been slowly getting our garden in this year. "Life" happens and set us back (new granddaughter, etc...😊). Have great day!!

    Try steeping mint leaves in water and spraying down with it, or… Put some peppermint essential oil in a spray bottle of water and use that as a bug repellent.

    I love Monte Cristos. A place near me made great ones, but the owners retired, and the new owners didn't keep it on the menu :(.
    Years ago, a colleague told me to try Russian dressing as a dipping sauce for Monte Cristos. I looked askance as she enthusiastically shoved a monkey dish full of Russian dressing my way. I tried it, just to appease her, and it was delish! Easy to make the Russian dressing, equal amounts of mayo and ketchup (or Miracle Whip and catsup if that's how you roll).
    Good job in the comfrey comeback. Many people find the yellow flowering kind too eager to proliferate, which is why so many prefer the purple. I heard it called Russian comfrey. Not sure if it is Russian, but i find that most plants containing the common name Russian typically do well in cold climates.

    • @FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska
      @FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh! I bet the Russian dressing is awesome. Wonder if I could make Russian dressing without the miracle whip. Miracle whip is my arch nemesis. Ha! Yuck!
      think that’s one of the reasons why the yellow comfrey isn’t readily available because it’s fairly invasive. Be blessed friend!

    • @meganlalli5450
      @meganlalli5450 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska , you be blessed, too! For the Russian dressing, you can use mayonnaise. I know some people have strong preferences when it comes to mayonnaise or Miracle Whip. Same with ketchup or catsup. I have used all aforementioned products and lived to tell the tale, LOL.

      Its a leafy plant with large root system do it draws up lots of nutrients. Many people use it to feed their animals, mulch their plants, in making compost, and for medicinal purposes.

    I am quite certain that I may have appeared as though I were a complete fool after taking on such actions as I did when you nearly omitted the vanilla. Though I can not guarantee that I carried myself in a polite and dignified manner, I will say that my behavior was justified, albeit somewhat out of character, and perhaps slightly unbecoming a man of my maturity. In my defense, I would like to stress that certain instances of kitchen disfunction are oft ubiquitous, and merely cast aside without prejudice under the guise of the individual liberty of the preparer. However, I was beside myself with trepidation, and, I must say, near sorrow, just imagining Mr. Reeve taking that ever-important first bite (on camera, might I add) only to be let down so mercilessly with a lackluster sandwich, which, despite its beautiful presentation, would have been utterly disappointing. But alas, my fears were proven unnecessary, as fear generally is, and I was quickly relieved when you brought back the vanilla and averted certain disaster just in time. I was then able to regain my composure, and lean back to my comfortable position and re-engage the foot rest on my recliner, which I had so hastily stowed away as I franticly rose from the place where I had sat so effortlessly just prior. Thank you, Miss Chrystal, for recognizing just how near you were to such a travesty of the culinary art, and taking the proper course to ensure that Mr. Reeve was met with a wonderful meal. May all your meals be plentiful, your souls be blessed, and your adsense be bountiful for many a year to come. Go forth joyfully, my Flat Tire Friends, be ye great and prosperous! -Dusty
