Went to the canteen at Aberdeen fish market today with my daughter. The place was a bit shabby, but the food was superb. We chose the same set menu, and fried noodle with seafood. It was excellent. The food was top notch. Two thumbs up.

Mark and Ying, I have just finished watching the whole series although 3 years late. Thank you so much for sharing this trip with us. The way you described and taste the different food, the way Ying's fantastic camera skill in taking clear image of each bite, makes ones mouth water. I particularly enjoyed the places and restaurants you visited in Hong Kong. Places I have not been even I was born in Hong Kong. I binged on these 39 episodes whilst you binged on the great food. I knew you and Ying have lovely little Micah since then, and he has grown so much. I will continue to watch your food travel. Just hope the current pandamic is over soon and we all can travel to different parts of the world to taste their culture and food as you have done. All the best wishes. A new fan from UK.
Hey Mark, I notice you recent switched to 60fps video but I think your shutter speed is set wrong. It should always be double your frame rate, so if you are doing 60fps, set your camera shutter to 120, it'll make the video seem less jerky when moving or watching movement.
Travis Owens Thank you very much Travis. I've tried to do this before, but always end up over or under exposing because I'm always shooting in the go. Right now I'm using a Panasonic, and I normally set my frame rate and then have it on aperture priority, so the camera compensated my shutter speed. But is there a way to quickly compensate for light changes while keeping the shutter speed steady? Or should I be using a lens fader? Thank you for your help!
I've never used an variable ND filter, they are expensive but don't buy cheap ones because they won't use lens glass and you'll get strage distortions. That's not really related to what's going on now though. Shutter speed shouldn't affect your exposure in video, especially since you are shooting in auto mode otherwise. I suspect your shutter speed is way above 100-120. While that gives superior stills when you pause the video, but it makes the video look jerky. Ironically the best looking video will be blurry in every still, the less blurry it is, the worse it'll end up looking. Yes it sounds backwards but that's how it works.
Mark I hope you do more of these food tours. Not only are they amusing to watch from food point of view but the way you explain the places you visit, it's splendid! Cheers!

Aww i was a little sad to see this series end but i really enjoyed watching you enjoy every delightful meal you had. This was full of excitement for food and friendly people. Even Ying had a good time. Sorry she wasn't feeling well at times.. Mark your love for food is divine... Thanks for a Great Series.

Ya now?.. I like this guy for some reason. great videos, him and the wife. He should put his wife in a bit more tho. One other thing that gets me grinning is when he tastes the food he'll lean way over. I said it once before and I'll say it again. I want to see him lean way over and fall out of his seat ;) LOL.
