Hi Mark My mother passed away 4 days ago She was in the hospital since May 2021 The past 3 weeks, have been difficult for her with sickness and unhappiness However I found your TH-cam channel Bu coincidence, and started showing her your videos on a daily basis We went through your whole trip to both Jordan and Iran As well as clips from Lebanon, Thailand and Eastern Europe It was always the highlight of her day to watch your videos and enjoy your signature move when you roll your head to the side as a mark of food deliciousness This was the last video we saw together I just wanted to tell you thank you so much for helping ease her pain by adding a little joy on her last days I will forever cherish those moments Thank you Mark

I know that fried fish is amazing Mark! I guess thats why your wife is smiling so much behind the camera. Its a classic carribean fried fish recipe made with the local fish. If you are in Carribean or Central American region just ask for fried fish anywhere, everyone has a different touch and most importantly a hot sauce to pair it with. Hope you like the dish! I just manifested this video! I was just telling my son, who was born in Key West, that I wanna visit the Keys, again. That lobster, I was just planning to cook one, too. We used to live in the Florida Keys- 2 years in Key West, 1 year in Big Pine Key, a few months in Islamorada and 3 years in Key Largo. What a beautiful life! I used to buy my fresh seafood at that fisheries, too, just a few minutes away from where we used to live. I miss that one mile stretch and the seven mile bridge in Marathon. That is so beautiful - you get to see the beautiful view of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico ocean. We are definitely going back there. I miss the Keys!!! Up to Florida Keys........🎼🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶Kokomo!

I'm getting private messages of people that are clearly upset thinking I am slamming all of Mark's Hosts. Oh laawwdd! I thus have to add this Edit lol! First, my comment is NOT negative! It merely is saying that out of the HUNDREDS of people Mark has had in his Videos who are comprised of co-hosts/guides/local tour companies or just ANYBODY who is showing him around a spot/restaurant/town/city/back alley/country etc....introducing him to the local food/culture, David is in the top 5-10% in terms of being engaging, educational, and fantastic personality. That is all I am saying! I have seen probably 80% of all of Marks Videos over the last 6 years- in fact when I look at his Video library, it seems that every Video has a full red line under it, meaning that I have watched it. And it would be NAIVE for me, OR ANYONE, to say that every single Guide he has had in his videos have the same personality, passion and knowledge/information about their local cuisine as David here has about his town. That is all I am saying! I have seen probably 80% of all of Marks Videos over the last 6 years- in fact when I look at his Video library, it seems that every Video has a full red line under it, meaning that I have watched it.
And it would be NAIVE for me, OR ANYONE, to say that every single Guide he has had in his videos have the same personality, passion and knowledge/information about their local cuisine as David here has about his town.
I can easily think of 10 people Mark has had who are just plain awful, and when I say that I mean awful in terms of their Duty as a Tour/Food Guide showing him around.
So not sure why some people are taking my comment below as such a negative, and the only thing I can think of is that those people are interpreting what I said to mean ALL of his guides are bad- NO! I am merely saying David is clearly one of the BETTER ones. That's it!

No offense to the many other "co-hosts" who have shown you around their cities/towns all around the world, who most are just boring, silent, and have no personality. BUT FINALLY! You got a rockstar! David's got to be one of the best Tour Host in your videos. You got someone here who clearly is passionate about the food, and who shows you around AND is engaging, educational, and feels a PART of the video, instead of in the background. I'm now gonna go sub to his channel! THX Mark!
