- Here are my 5 tips for starting on a 600cc motorcycle... I hope they help you out! GOOD NEWS, I am now uploading twice a week and will also be getting my new bike hopefully by the end of the month so plenty of content to come. Thanks to everyone showing support I appreciate you all!

I'm a girl on a Repsol 600RR.....It's true that most people will come of their bike at some point but it's not to do with being a bigger bike it's about learning how to handle the size of bike you're riding, bike or small. Getting decent gear is absolute paramount, mainly for me because it gives me the confidence to ride without so much worry of the offs. You're absolutely right about leaving your ego at home, I always ride my own ride these days. Some people say "ooh you ride like a bloke" and to that i say "no I ride like the girl I am but I also ride my own ride all the time, I feel no need to 'prove' anything to anyone".

Remember go in a stopped position hit rev limiter and dump clutch
Pump the footbrake before and itl come up nice and smooth into a double backflip

Do not bring that bullshit on your ride or these bikes will eat you alive. I respect the hell out of my 600cc's and i know they have so much more to give then i can handle. I have fun but know i want too do it again tomorrow so yeah, me ego is left behind when i get on my bikes.

Lot´s of wisdom there TWisY, respect your bike, and watch out for the cages, took my license last year, and bought a MT07, have been riding quads and atv´s for 15 years before that, so i´ve seen my fare share of blind cages =) Keep up the good work man.

I got an R6 as my first bike. Its all about the rider, not the bike, so i’d always recommend s 600! Fuck spending g’s on a 125 or 300 and being bored of it in a few weeks lol

Great advice, got my Mod 1 done this week, hope to get my Mod 2 done next week, have a 2004 GSXR 600 sitting in the garage ready to go, plan to do as you suggest, go out to a car park and practice, will take it very easy for a while. Great to hear a UK perspective on a Supersport as a first bike, cant go by the US vids as the MSF course is very basic compared to our DAS, the DAS is much more intensive so in the UK I think we are a bit better prepared for a big first bike, I consciously drew the line at a GSXR 750 though, the 750 has a lot more low down torque and the 1000 even more so a bit more of a handful for novice.

And yeh you will have such fun on that bike, my friend just got a 05 one and loves it lol yeh man they defiantly prepare you for it more in the UK they got it easy over there haha Defiantly go to a carpark and practice dragging the rear break and counter balancing on slow manoeuvres. Thats one of the best things about riding, you get to go out and practice... you can't really go out and practice driving a car so much lol always something to learn on a bike... Il be getting a 2nd bike at the end of this month which is a different style of bike so I can learn a new style of riding so plenty of new content coming this year

Wow you are so realistic but im hard headed. Im a first time rider and ordering the 2021 aprilia rs 660. I will not be getting another bike so i figured why start with a 400 and out grow it. This here I can keep and pass it on to my 9 year old daughter when she is ready. Im 50 its either now or never. Mid life crisis maybe but I already have the benz and the Durango so why not a hot bike and join the brother hood.

Yeh riding is just a different feeling to driving and why not have both 2 wheels and 4 lol your have real good fun on that that’s such a nice bike! Just take it easy go at your own pace take time to practice and be patient, guna be real intimidating at first but your get used to it quick just practice in a empty car parks and don’t race no one even tho how tempting it’s guna be to smoke someone haha it’s not worth it things can go wrong real quick on a bike without experience just respect the bike and you will be good!! I started off on the ninja 400 and still never dropped the bike. I'd say 400 is that sweet spot where it's good beginner and even through you'll be ready in under a year to upgrade for me I would say no more than 6 months it still has enough power to still have fun and still be a very forgiving bike

We'll see if I'm ready for that liter bike if not zx6r for sure dont wana get too over ahead of myself lol but planning for sometime this year so let's see what happens. Going to pay my 400 with tax money once they come in hopefully by march then gna see what I can get out my 400. Got almost 5500 miles on it 2018 bought with 0 miles never dropped well taken care of sc project slip on (generic) after market levers fender delete shogun frame sliders so hopefully I can get enough to put a good down payment and maybe have a couple hundred to get the new bike frame sliders and fender delete then later on I can get slip on

Dunno if I said in the video but I was looking at getting a slip on for my bike but I’ve decided to put my money into buying another bike instead lol the ninjas not going anywhere! Just getting another one different style of bike to throw about and learn new riding style so keep a eye out for the bike reveal video be end of this month / early February
@@TARZANMotoVlogs went to Kawasaki today to buy a oil filter so I can do my oil change today and while i was there I asked when was their next demos and they're actually having them February 21 22 and 23. So I'm planning on being there and going to be riding the 636! The 10r wont be there for sure but it's all good. They actually have 2 2019 636 still in the showroom for 8900. So hopefully once I'm ready they still have atleast 1 still there for me to take and I want the black 1! Lol

I’m starting on a 94 ninja zx11, 1100cc, it’s heavy so I imagine it would compare to 600 to 750cc modern bike, any tips for riding it on slow speeds?

Very steady on throttle and take your time that’s a weapon your on 💀 good luck man take your time and you will be ok you just need to get out and practice practice practice 👊
@@TARZANMotoVlogs thanks for replying, I’m starting practicing slowly on a empty parking lot, plan to do that for at least 15 days, next I’ll start visiting some nearby friends to get used to traffic and I won’t push any limits on the bike, I bought it cause it’s big and comfortable and I appreciate its history and design, not for adrenaline.

I’ve got a question for you. I’m 6’0ft 325 pounds but I’m working out and have ZERO riding experience. What do you think about me starting on a 2019 SV650 or GSXR 600? Am I too big for these bikes?
yoo man! sorry for the late reply I dont get a chnace to respond on my friday video comments till moday... I think your be fine with the sv650 i had a friend who started on one of those, gsx-r600 got a lot of power there but riding position wasnt as aggressive as my bike when i sat on my friends. Weight wise im not sure dont think it matters your still be able to ride it fine your working out like you said so jnust keep focused on your goal and you can do what ever you want to do man dont let nothing stop you doing what you want especially when it comes to choosing what bike you want haha best thing to do tho woukd be to ring a suzuki dealer and just chat to them ask them anything you wana know cause end of the day your buying the bike and their not cheap so find out as much as you can 👊 thanks for watching and commenting
TWisY It’s fine bro life is busy. I really needed to hear this though thank you so much. It is hard to completely change your lifestyle for the better but one day at a time. But I decided to go with a 2019 ninja 650. It has the looks of a super sport, comfort of a cruiser, commuter friendly, and is beginner friendly. Also they’re dirt cheap where I live $5,599 for a 2019 Ninja 650 ABS can’t beat that.

looking to drop a training program on here at 1000 subs, just a simple one then in the future sort a more in depth professional one cause bikes and fitness go hand in hand
man your weight is not suited for those machines. U should get something with a comgortable seating position. This aggresive riding position puts additional strain to joints and a back and with your weight it will only exacerbate the problems. If i were u i would take maybe some naked or sport-touring bike. Don’t worry about all that I can’t stand people with that kind of attitude, never forget when I posted in a Facebook group cause rear break seized and asked for help amount of people who took the piss was MAD! Haha
People forget they started out as a beginner too easy if I had of acted that way when I was taking new people round when I used to box none of them would’ve come back the next day half these riders need couple rounds to get back in check lol
Anyway there’s a lot of good energy in the bike community and will alsway be twats in every community but don’t care about what no one thinks just enjoy your ride keep progressing at your own pace, there’s no competition you won’t win nothing other than a trip to the hospital so just ride your own ride 👊 you’ll find good supportive people that will help you and that you can ride with
