The show is a perfect metaphor for the modern fallout games: Insane production value, lots of attention to detail on all the Fallout "stuff" (junk, consumables, power armor) and a metric ton of pandering and handholding to those unfamiliar with the franchise all at the expense of meaningful and logical writing, lore, and everything established in the non-bethesda titles.
It also pays zero respect to anything Bethesda wrote, because nobody at Bethesda even cares about their own material. Inconsistency is Bethesda's only consistent behavior.

I love how Sinclair catches like 30 strays with his character. He owns Big MT but didn't know what he got himself into with the hazmat suits, the knives and cloud. Hes losing money but is at the roundtable with House. He's an optimistic and kind man who loves an actress but now looks like a predator. Crazy how the show just made Dean correct and right in his hatred of Sinclair.

This meeting takes place at its earliest in 2076, because earlier in the chronological timeline when cooper is talking to a friend the friend says: After 10 years of fighting the US is broke. Which is wrong btw because the US was funding most major companies at the time but whatever. So it takes place in 2076, why does House look like he's in his 30's or early 40's he is 56 he is one year removed from putting himself in his preservating pod so how did he suddenly gain 25 years in the span of one. A couple unrelated things too: Why does cooper tell a vault-tec employee about a fault in power armor? They don't make it. Why does the flaw even exist? Power armor is bolted not welded. Edit spelling.

@@EnclaveEmily cree is good. maulers review was also very good, but i was referring to youtubers who specifically cover fallout. the vid i was talking about is "bethesda never understood fallout" from the channel twenty sided that came out a few years ago. the video itself feels more like a proof of concept, and honestly i feel like someone could make a ten hour video on each of the claims he makes in the vid. he hasn't made a fallout video since. theres plenty of videos about how the fallout show is terrible, but im looking for someone who can make some kind of big picture video about alll the bethesda stuff: the artstyle, writing, characters, and lore and really dismantle the whole thing. i think the art style in particular is something ive seen suuupper little commentary about when it comes to even fallout 3 itself. id make a video about it myself, but there are people who are wayyy more familiar with this stuff than me.

Let me point to you a show that handles the topic of capitalism better. The first ep opens with a commercial run by a business corporation advertising their food,medicine and weapons. The plot of the ep is a group of military personnel trying to undercover a conspiracy that's involved this corporation. This organization is eventually find out to be terrorists group that is trying take over the world by posing as business corporation. Which means the commercial I mention is actually simply propaganda. This show is called G.I joe renegades and this terrorist group is Cobra. This is a kids show that subtly explore the idea of capitalism by making Cobra as a metaphor for it. Theres a ep that's tied to capitalism with a existence of a cult. The show had the balls to provided some insightful commentary on how nothing is done with veterans who suffer from PTSD to help them recover. Nothing only do I feel rob that I didnt got a good adaptation of fallout,but the fact this got second season and renegades didn't.
