It’s funny, there’s a good reason “The Fall” of something on a timeline isn’t usually used to mark the beginning of a downfall because when you look back retroactively many points before said ‘Fall’ might have been the true cause or reason that led to actions causing the ‘fall’ It’s all ultimately moving the goalpost. Some jackass might say the beginning of the NCRs decline was the first battle of hover damn when another might look at that and go “well without the expeditions into Nevada that battle would have never happened so technically the fall started when that happened” We use “Fall” to indicate something has Fell or to show the period of time something Fell for. Fall of Shady sands - 2277 ever means it fell completely sometime during 2277 or it fell over the cause of 2277. If it was how a lot of defenders of the show want to interpret it as the “Fall of Shady sands” would be marked as 2277-???? To actually indicated the fall of the nation or city was actually a period of time simply putting 2277 isn’t just strongly implying the fall happened it 2277 it’s down right stating it did. This is the issue with vague uses of language done with purpose in hopes to not get called out.

People actively defend BoS PA'd paladins ignoring their headlights by them "not having enough training", it's Joever. If the creators cared even a little, this fight could've been made really good and believable if there was more open space and cover for the ghoul to maneuver between, and him using EMP grenades that would've made PA amalfunction and fry the headlamps. But that implies caring about what you make and putting thought into it, and that's not something that was done at any point in the show.

It's not canon just as the Star Wars Sequels aren't canon.
