      Honestly I thought he would take in more Calories considering his size but I’m just starting working out so I’m not so sure how it works exactly. I put my weight and height in a tdee calculator and it’s told me 2800 calories a day so I’m just a little confused if anybody could shed some light on this it would mean a lot

    I know you probably get messages like this every day but I have to say thank you so much and keep doing what you are doing!! You have changed so many peoples lifes and LITERALLY saved mine. I’ve lost almost 100lbs, avoided diabetes, and I am no longer in danger of having a heart attack. I’m only 27 and was at lowest point of my life. Then one random day your video popped up on my home page and because of the way you approach your videos it felt you really believe in us, ordinary people. In the process I got diet from a diet helper named nextleveldiet to further improve my meal planning... You are amazing, please never stop...     I really enjoy two things from you and other fitness / body building personnel I follow on You Tube: 1) what you guys eat in a day for either cutting or to lose a few pounds, or to "maintain"; 2) the different combinations of workout routines, ie., the body parts and/or the exercises you include in the different workouts. The collaborations are also sometimes very informative...of course, those are how I find others to follow if I wish.

      You know he is a fake natty right? You might want to follow him for entertainment if you like so but most of the things he is showing arent relevant for you. You dont need to have an exact number of macros on paper or incorporate a gazilion "time under tension" excersises to your routine.

      @@fdsafsgrgsdg242 He is a fake natty yes, but I don't understand the relevance of that on the information he provides. Whether you're on juice or not, the principles stay the same. Calorie surplus with 1 to 2 g of protein per lb of bodyweight if you want to bulk, calorie defecit with the same or higher amount of protein if you want to cut.
      When he is talking about not overeating etc it is in relation to his goals, the same way when you or I are considering what food to eat when out etc, we need to relate that to our goals.
      His information is sound 🤷‍♂️ steroids don't alter the fundamentals of training and nutrition.

      A suggestion: TH-cam has loads of amazing audiobooks and lectures. If you put on on pretty low volume, there is no music, no sudden rise in volume, most have no ads. You can listen, which will stop you thinking, and you will drift off. I recommend books by Isaac Azimov, Ted Chiang (fab), lectures by Robert Sapolski, John Merriman, Paul Freedman… and on and on infinitely.

    I think the way you deal with temptation is very ideal in any way, not just in food. For example you´re in a place where you have alcohol in front of you or you are about to go on social media checking out content maybe for hours, the best thing you can do is just think about how do you feel after it and how do you benefit from it.

    My pre/during is a mix of 1/2 a small sugar free redbull, 1/2 16oz sugar free blue Gatorade, 1 scoop super beets. Drink 1/2, fill with water, drink 1/2, fill with water. Works well.

    Cook your salmon skin side up under the grill. About 12mins, delish and keeps the moisture in. Crispy skin too.. no soggy stuff. 😉

    That restaurant meal is at least 1200 calories. With 2 rolls and an entire bowl of beef and rice, there is no way they only add up to 800 kcals. Depending on the amount of sauce (which is spicy mayo) and oil use in the stir fried, it can very well go up to 1500 kcal.

    Really glad to see Mike Thurston has accepted that he fundamentally doesn't understand what an omelette is. We were having anxiety sweats watching him make these eggs, fearing he was going to claim it was an omelette (and not just the smashed up pile of stuff that it so clearly is). So well done Mike, you've walked back from the edge and returned to the egg based realm that most of us share. But be warned, the omelette police are watching. And we will judge you. But for now, you can carry on, you're doing really well. For now.

    Nahhhhh I can’t cope with that spreadsheet. I’m actually gunna lose sleep tonight knowing that you track your calories with that. Why don’t you just create your own foods with the correct nutrition on MyFitnessPal 😭😭

    love the restaurant with calories on menu. hard to find in AU( easier in US I assume). That dish of Californian rolls was not under 100 calories no way closer to 200-300. Love how u overestimate by 700! sounds about right for many eat outs! Elena p. s I'm a dietitian seen it all !

    This was inspiring...been eating too much junk food recently. Can totally identify with the chocolate issue, add ice-cream to that as well. 😂 But i do quite a bit of cardio too with my strength training. 💪
