    Mike what you didn't discuss was how your tan has changed over the past 10 years. Ideal tanning locations, sun tan oil protocol, and how many sessions of front n back are ideal for maximizing color gains.

      @@ClassyLife No way Tren. Test at most if he were on tren the finastaride would not work for his hair loss which he would have lost more hair. Even anavar would make him lose more hair but test alone fin would control the hair loss as it inhibition effect on test would stop conversion to dht which is main culprit of hair loss. He is very motivated and his diet is right on point. Good luck to him even with strongest steroids most individuals wouldn't come close to looking like that.

    Exercising can be really hard sometimes but It always makes me feel better. Last year I had almost 300 lbs in body weight. One day I just started moving more, then slow running then I started doing weighted exercises and I was eating clean by following meal plan I got from Next Level Diet. Today I have 200 lbs and I am happy like I never been in my life.

I sometimes get frustrated when I find myself not sticking to my diet but then again I'm 71 and my livelihood doesn't depend on it. I do think the fact that you come across as as a human makes you as successful as you are. I certainly thank you for helping me maintain a decent fitness level at my age.

    This is a good look into the life/mind of a perfectionist. Note how often Mike points out "inadequacies" in his physique or life at certain times. To the rest of us, we can't even see or detect any change because of how high Mike has set the bar for himself, it's truly quite impressive how dedicated he stays but it also must be quite stressful

    At 10:06. Here's the secret to being happy--keep friends around. I feel that in 2014 through 2017 you isolated yourself too much, focusing too much on working out, working with clients and just being a housebound, isolated person. You didn't set up a friend network where you could vent, where you could relax and chill during the weekends or down times. So you looked to food for the comfort friends would've given you. You also tended to make another mistake--you concentrated all your emotional needs in your romantic relationships. That's also unhealthy because romantic relationships tend to break up, and when a break up happens, there goes 90% of your friendships. That's not good. What you learned to do in 2018 was not to put all your emotional eggs in one basket, and you set up a friend network. You socialized a lot more. And that kept you much more psychologically even-keeled, and you were happier as a result.

Mike Thurston here seems to have fallen for this fallacy. Nope. That's one of the surest paths to depression, anxiety and general unhappiness. No human being can be an island unto himself. Keeping a good circle of friends around--especially during the hard times, when shit is falling apart in your life--is a basic building block to happiness.

    The early 30s are the period when you are the strongest. At least that's how I felt. You still have a good ten years ahead of you, but yes, the level of physical energy and, as I call it, "physical enthusiasm" for training, decreases with the approach of the 40's. When the early 40's come, you feel like your batteries are at 50%. You know you should train, you do it as an obligation but there is no more pleasure, and over time you work less and less. When that time comes, don't be tempted to take chemistry. You will be tempted especially if your earnings and status are still directly related to your appearance.

    Great to see honesty in video. I appreciate all your challenges and the ups/downs of real life. I will be 60 in a month and have been through lots of changes over a 45-year involvement with weights and fitness. One thing I gave up altogether, and no judgement here, was alcohol. I was never a big drinker, but over a twenty year period I found my interest and desire to drink getting less and less. When I reached having one or two scotch twice a year and found my body rejecting it, I decided I had enough. It has been over 6 years now and I love that I don't need to feel the blahs and low energy state after drinking. Still enjoying the gym though!

    I love you Mike but I think your fans (including myself) would respect you so much more if you would just admit your gear use and be transparent about it. You could be the one to remove the stigma attached to steroids Mike! Many people already know the truth about you. Obviously other men on steroids like myself know it in a split second. But even the general public isn’t as silly as you might think - at least not all of them. But all of them ARE going to know eventually when you hit your 40s and 50s and keep blasting large amounts of gear to maintain this incredibly beautiful and sexy physique. Just think about it. At this point, it’s almost as if you have started believing your own lie; you’re so deep into it. You don’t wanna end up like the Rock or Mike O’Hern whom everyone with a single functioning braincell regards as major hypocrites. It’s becoming too late for you Mike to open up. I encourage you to do it sooner rather than later because I know that your fans will respect you more for it. Just do it now. The fitness industry will forgive you for lying to us for years and we will be proud of you for taking a leap of faith and being transparent. You’re misleading your followers into believing they can obtain a physique like yours while keeping the secret hidden away from them. It will result in the disappointment of many. People will try to emulate your training and diet and work extremely hard; yet they will never look anything close to you because they aren’t running grams of gear. It’s a disservice really. It’s sad. I feel sad for you. I feel sad for all the fans who believe your lies. Honesty is the best policy. Please don’t take this the wrong way, Mike, if you do read this. This is just constructive criticism encouraging you to develop a better character. I absolutely love your content and obviously I want to marry your physique - but I think you should seriously start considering honesty. The bodybuilding industry deserves it. What’s the worst thing that can happen anyway? You lose some followers and gain a ton back right away. You don’t have any sponsorships so that’s not a concern. You’re an independent entrepreneur. They choice is yours. Do you want to be a liar for life or would you like to educate people with the truth and actually be a man of integrity? Everyone thinks PEDs are cool nowadays anyway, and they are. I love them. I’m running a gram of test and 500 mg of Mast E myself for my summer cycle. But it’s not cool to be walking around like an IFBB Pro claiming natty! Pleeeease Mike 🙏🏻

    • @ez6084
      @ez6084 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very interesting text! I agree with you on some points. But, since you are using PED’s yourself; how can you see that he is using something? Do you focus on different parts of the body that makes it obvious that he is using it?

    • @RoaringJaguar
      @RoaringJaguar 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ez6084 Yes, a gear user can spot a fellow gear user extremely easily; especially if the bodybuilder in question is very developed like Mike. In his case, it is physically impossible to be this lean and most importantly this big at the SAME TIME. You can be very lean naturally and have a “decent” size on your frame but holding onto this amount of muscle mass while still staying shredded year round is not possible without steroids, especially considering the fact that Mike is a tall guy around 6 feet so he has even more muscle mass than some of the smaller guys that appear very buff but have less actual muscle tissue. Another great way to spot an enhanced bodybuilder is to look at their delts and traps. These areas have a higher concentration of androgen receptors which AAS (androgenic anabolic steroids) bind to and therefore they pop and become bigger and more defined in enhanced bodybuilders. Also look for vascularity. In Mike’s case, that’s a dead giveaway. Also listen for excuses that don’t make sense. Like when he says he got out of shape and his physique suffered just because he was drinking/partying/traveling etc. That’s code for: He went off cycle for a while to give his body a break and was just cruising on an HRT dose (hormone replacement therapy) of testosterone (anywhere between 100-250 mg per week) before he bumped up the doses again and looked better as a result of him “stopping partying and being more disciplined” a.k.a. blasting the gear again. Of course, training and nutrition is essential for us enhanced bodybuilders too. But steroids remain the number one contributor to physiques the likes of ours. Hope this helps. Sadly, most people are completely blind to the reality that the vast majority of bodybuilders are running steroids year round in large amounts. Since Mike is not a professional bodybuilder (although he looks like one) but an entrepreneur and a content creator, it’s quite easy for him to keep a low profile when it comes to his steroid use. He may also not want to influence younger guys into doing steroids from a harm reduction standpoint. But the main reason bodybuilders deny their steroid use, is simply because it’s the easy way and also it’s an illegal activity, so there’s that. The majority of Mike’s followers are not advanced bodybuilders themselves so they won’t all know. But many of them are young men aspiring to look like Mike and great will be their disappointment when they train and eat exactly like him for 10 years and nothing major happens.

    • @ez6084
      @ez6084 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RoaringJaguar Man, thanks for this incredibly detailed response. It seems very plausible and more people should hear these kind of argumentations when it comes to PED/gear use. Last question; when would you think that he will be open about his use, what is the right time? Or never? Again thanks for you time.

    • @RoaringJaguar
      @RoaringJaguar 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ez6084 You’re very welcome! It bothers me how fake the fitness industry is. I believe I’m doing everyone a service by educating people on this. Even if those ready to hear are few and far between. Well, I don’t think Mike will ever come clean because he can quite effectively play the “genetic freak card” and no doubt about it; he does have phenomenal genetics. That coupled with heavy gear use and consistent training and nutrient management has gotten him where he’s at now in terms of his physique. So I believe he will never choose to admit the truth UNLESS he some day suffers some major health problems like a heart attack or something. But then again, that is not a given (and I certainly hope his health is all good) as many can get away with using anabolics for decades with no apparent ill effects. Some people are simply luckier than others.
      If for some reason, his body would not tolerate the PEDs well anymore, he might be forced to speak out on this when people see his physique shrink. But at the same time, once you have built your muscle mass with large dosages of strong anabolics over the span of multiple years, you can easily maintain with as little as 400 mg/week or less of Test alone and perhaps a small dose of Masteron or Primobolan year round depending on your genetics, diet and training. So no need for harsher hormones anymore the likes of Trenbolone, Equipoise, Nandrolone (Deca/NPP), Anadrol, Winstrol etc. That’s what we call a TRT plus. Basically maintaining what you’ve already got. But rest assured, if he gets even bigger than he already is while still staying in the single digit bodyfat range, he’s using more than just that and still doing some heavy cycling of gear. But I presume, he’s more health oriented now and focused on staying where he’s at. That way, he can easily get away with looking the way he does for another decade without suffering any serious health complications because the “heavy lifting” as far as steroids has already been done and he has gotten through it unscratched. That isn’t the case with everyone.
      I’m glad I was able to help! If you are considering jumping on the juice, please do tread carefully because as Rich Piana so aptly said: There’s no such thing as only one cycle. Steroids are a bit like heroin. The difference is they aren’t NEARLY as dangerous. Men rarely get entirely off of steroids if bodybuilding is their utmost passion and livelihood. They are all on TRT for life and that makes it so easy to play around with the doses and bumping them back up in accordance with one’s goals. Before you know it, there’s no B&C (blast and cruise) anymore. There’s just blast. And that’s when your health becomes a serious concern. Feel free to ask more questions. Wish you all the best.
