      @vladeputinovic6128 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No it is not. First of all in body recomp there are no cuts or bulks... you substitute fat with muscle till certain fat percentage ...when you get it low it no longer works....body wont use that fat cause too little of it...all this means constant small deficit around 200 to 300...not more... now how you eat at that small deficit is a problem ... hard to measure exactly.... so has to be food that you know calories for sure..
      second he says he bulks or cuts to certain body fat... most of us cannot measure it so it is useless .. how many kg he gained in bulk, how many lost in cut.... that would be more useful...

    • @vladeputinovic6128
      @vladeputinovic6128 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      after you actually achieve body recomp....you will have the same kg but you ll be shredded to see six pack.... if you want to be bigger then you go to to constant small surplus... you decide when to stop depending on results...fat increase should be very small.... but again you decide if you want cut and how big....after recomp when you are in clothes you dont look you work out, when you take it, absolutely does... so if you want to be bigger so even in clothes it looks you are working out,I said above... anyway, this guy in clothes looks like he doesnt work out... it is all about goals...he should be happy and proud with the difference though..

      Honestly, when you start weight lifting with 20 % body fat i don't really see a reason to cut, 20 % is totally healthy. At least i don't even have to goal to get super low in terms of body fat. And when you kick out some trash food and care more for protein it will work out fairly well in that regard. At least it did for me. Bot of course people have different goals.

    Rest is super important and quality sleep. Naturally, age is a huge factor too. The older you get, the harder it gets physically. But On the other hand, when you are older, you (hopefully) are more patient. One thing is good to remember, that change takes time. If it was easy and quick to get shredded, most people would be :) Good luck guys! HWPO!!

    • @BradNewtonFitness
      @BradNewtonFitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      Yes.... I'd say patience is one of the most under rated qualities. Any fitness transformation takes time / patience and it's extremely tough to tell people to be 'more patient'. I always tell people via my site that if they just give this a shot for 8 to 12 weeks (it almost always takes longer, but we need to get the momentum going), then they'll be much further ahead than most people.

      I just turned 32 and after about a decade of being undisciplined with my diet and fitness, I’m transforming myself into the person I should be and patience is key. In the past I would look at it as I have to build this entire house right now and if it doesn’t get built immediately it never will. Now… I’m patiently laying one brick at a time, every day. The process is slower but more focused and more tangible since I’m not overwhelming myself. The time is going to pass no matter what, might as well lay down a brick every day and in years time it’ll be a mansion.

      i just turned 37 and the last time i was in shape was 14 years ago.. meanwhile i was not really active and ate mostly what i want, first job, first long time relationship, you know what i mean.. so guess how long it takes to reverse and get fit again? it will probably take years, you cant fix a decade of unhealthy behaviours in a 90 days sixpack Programm.. while i lost over 8 kilos of fat in 4 months, im far away from beeing fit and looking good, im just a weak skinnyfat ass now🤣..this will take time..
      my goal is to be in the shape of my life when i turn 40..
      in the past i wanted fast results and after 3-5 months i always quit because it didnt go fast enough and fell for Instant gratification like fastfood and gaming again over and over..
      being healthy and fit should be one of tje main goals for men above 30.. your body gets weaker year by year if you do nothing against it..

    I'm skinny fat, 48yrs old and have just started on this transformatuon journey. In the frist 4 weeks I've lost around 3 kilos and will probably lose a little more than that over the next month. My biggest issue is not getting enough protein. My wife does all the shopping and cooking, and while we eat healthily, my protein was only around 80gm per day. Im trying to supplement that with things like tuna, avocados, and a daily shake but its still can be a challenege to get to 150-160g per day. In terms of cardio, I've cycled a lot in the past 10 years and had started running this year, but have paused both of those for now in favour of walking. Im trying to hit around 15,000 steps p/d and often achieve that, mainly to try to boost the fat burn along with 4-5 gym sessions per week. Thanks for the info in the video, it certainly helps to reinforce the process

    Great info! I did all of this and had really great results. Two things I would add that helped me: (1) Know your maintenance calories so that you know what you're aiming for nutrition-wise. Eat to your maintenance and get your caloric deficit through exercise. (2) Measure your progress through some sort of body scanner, not the scale. The goal is to lose fat, not weight. Having a monthly printout of my body composition really helped me dial in my programming and nutrition.

    Great video! I have been going through a weight loss/Health and Fitness journey. I started on October 29, 2022 and when I share videos on TH-cam about the importance of exercise, it is amazing how many people tell me that exercise providers little benefit to weight loss. Makes me wonder what types of exercise they have tried in the past and why did not work for them. I am told it don't work while I have gone from 290 on October 29th to 213 here on April 27, 2023 I have been learning more and more as I go, but I started with LIIFT 4 by Beachbody and just rotated weeks to stretch it out until last week and this week I switch to their more intense program which is 5 x's per week and more weights. AT 6'0 and 213 I am not yet where I want to be, but I am pushing hard to get there. I am now 50, so I started with lighter weight and push hard through each. Since I started I have more than doubled the weights I use for many exercises and could go up now. I currently only have dumbbells up to 30 pounds, but adding new ones as needed and budget allows. I need to add a set of 35's and 40's soon with this new program and my gaines up this point. Great video!

    What about this case: I'm a trail runner. I run like 60-70km a week, with like 3000-4000m elevation gain (a week). Sometimes i run ultra marathons, like +50km. However, i workout at home, like pushups with weights and kind of bodyweight workouts. I get my daily protein 120-130gr mostly from meat and animal source of foods. I eat meat on every meal (2 meals a day). I use intermittent fasting method and mostly i try to maintain and keep my carbs at 70-80gr of carbs a day! Sometimes, before a long run, i carb load 2-3 days before in order so i can keep my endurance on that day/race. I'm starting to see quiet results, like burning fat around 6 packs. My question is, how this journey will go on long term? What's your opinion? Thank you

    5ft 8 & have been a skinny fat since 17-18 when I dropped from 14 stone (80KG) to 9 stone 10 (62) in around 3 months - depression lead to sleep deprivation but aided starving myself (600 calories a day 14 hours+ between meals) now 26 and tired of being in the same boat, though now I am more broad sitting at 12 stone, 06 going through a cut and trying to keep focused ie: sufficient protein and remaining consistent with deficit etc
    currently doing body weight exercises to build up to an actual weight lifting push pull etc sets as previously I would get lost in the idea of trying to lift to heavy thus not targeting the correct muscle groups during training, Just basically incredibly none educated... this was a massive help and genuinely going to refer to this at times of need! Really liked this video since it doesn't get overly scientific, which is one of the reasons people don't have the patience to get into weight lifting. I've gone from super-skinny to skinny-fat and it's not until now, when I'm 38, that I have the patience and knowledge to make this change. Over time I've discovered how fun it is to just experiment with your body and transform it into something stronger and more capable. You feel more confident as feel more in control of yourself and your personal progress. And it's a win/win for everything else you do in life because not only do you get stronger physically but mentally as well. I started skiing just 3 years ago and being able to grow my will to conquer a new challenge and to have a stronger body to get me through it really made it so much more fun.

    I did ALL of that mistakes in the last two years and had little to no progress. Now I started a powerbuilding program which basically puts squat, deadlift and bench press as the core of the sessions, programming and technique looked after by a (very educated) personal trainer. I am basically where you started...typing this to reinforce what you are saying in the video and to tell to all the guys as me: don't try to fix your body condition with self made workouts and diets, building muscle is a science and you need people who studied and does this as a job (if you're sick you call the doctor, you don't improvise a cure!). Also, don't f*")!in trust "gym bros" which relie on prehistoric, no evidence based, bodybuilding techniques cos you'll loose money and time. I took a long road: staying (roughly) on a normocaloric diet to make the muscle grow as the fat decrease, however I am in the best shape I'm ever been (but I am far from being shredded 😂). From here when I'll have the right % body fat I'll try to go on an hyper caloric diet but I think if someone is a skinny fat, should be followed by a dietologist to do so cos you risk taking back all the fat you've lost

    ok strange thought but is anyone else SICK to death of the cutting/bulking/counting train? i started hitting the gym last week and have re-organized my workout schedule multiple times from the back and forth second guessing + trial and error of what route i wanna go. I started meal prepping, sticking to 45-60 minute training, stuck to two muscle groups each day, I go at 4AM & have been getting 6-7 hours of sleep ... and while its not magic, my body is starting to react to the change and I can DEFINITELY see the form setting in since before I ever touched a weight.
    I want an aesthetic, sculpted, LEAN body-i don't wanna be jacked or buff. i find the calorie counting extremely obsessive & mentally tiring. like bruh I just wanna stick to my lil healthy diet, get some good protein in, veggies, clean foods, allat! -- train hard and get my rest! I dont need the extra macho gym bro bodybuilder bullshit. im not trynaa have body dysmorphia nor am I tryna count every single gram I put in my body. we are not machines.

I gave up eating meat for several reasons, had my testosterone checked (which was too low). And in addition to that - I skip sugar and every product that contains sugar. Just on special occasions. I think 3 workouts (push - pull - leg) with one day break in between or 3 days in a row and two days in between - but being consistent is the secret - also download an app that reminds you to drink water or get a bottle with your daily amount next to your desk :) and get enough sleep.... When I started my training I walked in full incline for 30 minutes then increased it to an hour every day for 6 days a week. I saw great results. Now when I strength train before I just skip the treadmill all together 😅. I'm sure my body fat around my stomach would've decreased if I would've kept the same order.
