It is true that as early you find the best habits the better. Bad habits die hard. It is very hard at my age but even if I know we are not immortal, at least I want to feel good.
There's no singular solution for everyone. It's an adventure that you figure out on the trajectory. How to eat clean, work out, not binge eat, exploit fasting, etc. Then achieve the optimal state. Just get on the path.
For those of you that are single with no kids, go to Costco and get wholesome foods. The berries, meats, eggs, etc. i did that and the grocery bill isn't too bad. Just think about all the processed stuff we all have in the house. It's a gring to stay on track but I'm giving it a shot. And I'm starting to workout out again too.🤓 Be safe;)

If you're young just train regularly, stay off processed food as best you can, track your macros based on your goals. So many people complaining how expensive it is while getting their Starbucks maccha latte with a cake-pop ($15) then getting a chick-fil-A combo (another $15) for lunch and some more junk food for dinner (yup, you guessed it : $15+ ). In fact I did a 340 bench press a little while back posting it here. I also had tried 345 with a couple fails since. I know the protein is important but getting 180 grams a day is a tough goal for an old man. I mean trying to do it in a healthy manner. Just found out the senior bench record seems really close. Its kind of my new old hobby so thanks I have to start loading up.

Buy some cheap meat like chicken for most of the meals for the week. Include some fish, red meat into the mix a few days. Eggs if you go to the right market, should be very cheap and easy to get protein and calories in. Then buy some frozen veggies, so it last the entire week. Add in some some health carbs like sweet potatoes, plantains and cassava. Then you can buy a weeks worth of fruit for like $20 at the fruit stand. At most you should be spending $100 for the week.

3 years ago mark did the same video to this channel in his home and at that time he changed diet meat/dairy based for diet plant-based (many doctors said that plant-based is better for anti-aging) which is not so good because is not sustainable in a long term basically. its way better a omnivore diet based in plants ( more vegetables and fruits than meat/dairy) to be consistent daily.

He eats 5 times more then me, I start the morning with a 3 egg omelet with mushrooms, Paksoi or kale. 750 ml koffie, 500 ml water. In between I eat Griek yoghurt with all the berries (they contain half the sugar as most other fruits). In the evening I eat my rice (50 grams uncooked) with various kinds of prepared chicken, Thai style or Indonesian Ajam Pedis, Bali, Paniki, Opor, Batawi or Beef are my favourite and veggies. I end the day with a variation of nuts.

He eats 5 times more then me, I start the morning with a 3 egg omelet with mushrooms, Paksoi or kale. 750 ml koffie, 500 ml water. In between I eat Griek yoghurt with all the berries (they contain half the sugar as most other fruits). In the evening I eat my rice (50 grams uncooked) with various kinds of prepared chicken, Thai style or Indonesian Ajam Pedis, Bali, Paniki, Opor, Batawi or Beef are my favourite and veggies. I end the day with a variation of nuts.
