Thank you for this great reaction! For a lot of people, Electric Callboy's music *is* therapy. Their rather unique, high-energy mix of hard metal and other genres-along with their wonderful videos-has been aptly named "feel-good metal." Have a rough day? Watch Electric Callboy's videos! The band itself is one of the *nicest* bunch of musicians out there, and they love to connect-and connect with-people through their music. I hope you enjoy more of them!

Would love to see a reaction of Earl to "Hypa Hypa" by Electric Callboy. Known as a Metalcore/Transcore band "Hypa Hypa" was the overdone video introduction of the new singer Nico to their fans. in June 2020. The song, the versions with other German artist and reactions saved many people in the trouble times of the pandemic and lockdowns.

Welcome Earl, this was a fun reaction! O must say, Babymetal is absolutely the best kind of mental therapy. They are always an instant injection of endorphins.
Hope Earl gets a chance to experience more Babymetal!!

Ecstatic to just discover this channel. It literally checks all the boxes. I've been a headbanger since the 80s. I'm a retired psychiatric nurse and disabled veteran who suffers from severe depression and anxiety. I love all music with Metal and classical being my favorite. When my depression gets bad, I often turn to music. If I can use the upbeat, I turn to my favorite group Babymetal. It's hard to stay depressed watching these extremely talented young ladies scamper about the stage to brutal death metal. I also turn to my favorite subgenres of Black and Funeral Doom. I find that listening to something depressing allows me to channel my emotions into the music as a form of purge. I get a lot of strange looks when I say this but there are many times when listening to happy music just makes you feel worse about yourself.

Nice one. Electric Callboy are great fun, BABYMETAL are so positive and I've read so many personal accounts from people who have been helped through the hardest times and even claims that they literally saved lives with their music.
This song was a straight 50-50 collaboration between the two bands - and the live performances have been wild. The crowds have all loved it whether that is just one of the bands playing it in their own concerts or both playing live together (this has happened 8 times so far).

    For Earl :
Welcome & Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine.
BABYMETAL is the best musical phenomenon I have ever experienced in my 69-year-long life. (Before BM, I was a stubborn jazz / funk lover) We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄

    Well said.
To me the whole album TEKKNO by Electric Callboy was best of therapy through the last months/years living with cancer. I listened to it almost 24/7 😂.
Watched nearly all of the reactions to their videos and had a lot of laughs and happy moments. Seen them live in February and it really was one of the best concerts I've been to in my whole life. Usually I listen to heavier stuff but these guys created such a positive vibe I can't resist. And since I'm German I understand all of the lyrics and get the jokes in their interviews and the message to the fans to be authentic and honest in the things you do. This makes me love this band more and more.
Looking forward to the upcoming tour and new songs 🥰

I've been a metalhead since the 80s but was growing bored of music and drifted away. I found my self in an emotional dark place and it was tough, until I discovered BABYMETAL late 2019. It was refreshing, it was unique, it was light to my darkness. BABYMETAL are extremely hardworking, dedicated professionals. Their songs have a lot of positive lyrics and themes. I truly believe BABYMETAL has helped me from my dark place and allowed me to move forward in life. They have reignited my love for metal, and have opened other genres for my listening pleasure.
This was a great reaction. I love to see the shock and awe. I hope to see more reactions of BABYMETAL.

Nice reaction. Many folks have said that listening to Babymetal has gotten them through some dark times in their lives. As Moa has said Kawaii beats all. and Babymetals music is Kawaii Metal. Kawaii meaning cute. It's a whole vibe thing. I tell you this watching the joy these ladies perform with it becomes hard to feel down. Moa is the one with dimples. Her smile can brighten anyone's day. The happiness that Momoko has will fill you with it. Su born with more talent than humanly possible. A great example of what hard work and determination can do. Her vocal skills have grown over the years to match her natural talent. Their songs mostly have strong positive uplifting messages to them. And some are just about fun. Fitting right in with Electric Callboy. A true 50/50 collaboration. between them. Now cue the new party music RATATATA

I hope Taylor is doing ok, but I like Earl, he seems chill and I'd like to see him again. Both of these bands are legitimately effective at having a positive influence on mental health. They're both go-to artists when I'm feeling down and want to listen to something fun to lift the mood. So a collab between the two of them is just perfect. I find it's pretty much impossible not to vibe with this song when it comes on, no matter what mood I'm in.

I've been very distressed by the recent election results and I've been doing some serious doom scrolling. When I find myself staring too long into the abyss, I've gone to my happy place Babymetal with a heavy dose of this song. I've easily logged 12hours of Babymetal over the past week. And it has helped drag me up to a tolerable level of miserable. That and my two companion dogs (Corgi and Dachshund) have kept my head above water. I haven't checked out your playlist yet but Babymetal's "Doki Doki Morning" is a great pick-me-up (My neighbors give strange looks when I start singing it as I'm walking my dogs). For the funeral doom I submerge myself into Bell Witch's "Mirror Reaper," their 83-minute Funeral Doom masterpiece.

Earl didn't want to let the public know which kind of song he uses to cheer himself up.
When he is in a very bad mood, maybe he plays some very campy pop, wildly dancing around to this music. As he feared that this knowledge could sent some of the metalheads, who watch this channel, into a deep depression, he prefered to conceal this information...

Yes, this production was not easy, but it was pretty successful. Electric Callboy was a bit tired. This project didn't seem to move forward. And suddenly there was a Report , we might have something. In this situation Babymetal Management decuded to act. They simply put Babymetal in a plane and send them to Germany. With thid loaded gut they decided to start filming, although they had no real Budget, no script and not even the finished song. And so they broke through the first wall. With the good tip And if one of you bleeds, you play.
They improvised as good as isual and so they also had zhe idea that Babymetsl should improvise. And this was something Amuse taught to their young idols. And then they really finished zhe song. They got two new scenes. The Love S cene of Nico and Su together with the Giant Disco Ball. A d Kevins Cables. With these new materials they cut the first sce nes down. As Electric Callboy also realized in talks with the girls, allnighters are not uncommon in Japan.
