Pleasantly surprising twist.
Being mocked and mistreated for a good portion of your life can lead to depression...or a deep resentment. By contrast, finding people that are patient and appreciative for your efforts even if they sometimes lead to bungled results, can have a just as lasting an impact, and make you treasure those people all the more. This take on Jar Jar makes perfect sense to me.

Darth Jar-Jar having good intentions and yet still a nasty edge. That is an interesting take for sure, and not unheard of for Dark Side users. Rare, but not impossible as they don't entirely lose what makes them human.
I like this.....Jar Jar being Plagues other apprentice and him scheeming his payback on Sidious eventually.

So I read somewhere that George’s original plan for jar jar was to be a sith in hiding, his stupidity was just and act but ultimately changed it due to fan backlash

@@timyuusis3372 we don’t know what his plans for jar jar were, but he did state in an interview that he did have plans for him but then changed it due to fan backlash and the actors mental health after the fact
@@timyuusis3372 I don't know what he was but he was definitely meant to be a Dark Side user. He may have just been like Dooku...getting betrayed by Sidious sooner or later... but he might have instead been like Plagueis... being the master that gets betrayed in the movie instead of in the book! Which would have been interesting. The Dooku storyline worked out just fine but I would love to see the Jar Jar storyline.
This is why you never let people change your art. It's not theirs, it's yours, and it'll all be worth it when the payoff arrives
If I were to guess what happened next, Jar Jar would come around to share his power with Anakin, with the express intent to make him the true Chosen One. Revealing to him that the Jedi had Anakin's children, he would also tell Anakin that the Sith and Jedi were once both one and the same. That it was up to Anakin to use his unique leverage to convince the Jedi to start a new order, and that he would give him the power to back it up. In this Order, the Sith would become judges and executioners, while the Jedi were defenders and protectors. By bringing the Jedi to heel with their new strength, the Sith could declare victory without having to kill their friends.
This new Order would work similar to how it does in the 'Afro Samurai' anime, with one Sith being the king and the apprentice being the only legal challenger able to succeed them, but any could challenge the king's challenger. Jar Jar believed that the only ones who should be fit to rule the order are those able and willing to kill, since the galaxy could not afford another scenario where their unwillingness to embrace the darkness resulted in inaction that allowed someone like Palpatine to rise to power. By doing this, it was hoped that those who craved power would be filtered through the Jedi teachings and the challenger-king system of the Sith, leaving the greater galaxy safe from the ambitions of powerful individuals, and streamlining the avenue of violence away from the innocent.
The king however could step down and pass his title to the challenger without violence or contest, if the king themselves found them worthy. Jar Jar himself admits though who would like to see Anakin's power before he would finally step down, just to be sure the Chosen One was worthy of becoming the king of the Force users, and their battle would set the precedent for future challengers taking on the king.
After their plans are finalized, and Anakin's training is complete, they would go to the Jedi Temple and argue the reunification of the Jedi and Sith back into the Jedii. As the Sith had done nothing illegal, the Jedi couldn't rely on the Republic to help them when words failed and conflict rose, only to find they were no match for Jar Jar and Anakin, who despite being Sith refused to kill them. Eventually, Yoda decided to end the conflict, and admitted that Jar Jar and Anakin were right, as without Jar Jar's intervention, the whole order could have been wiped out. Yoda also acknowledged that the Jedi would lose who they were, if they continued to fight these particular Sith. He made the argument that if the Sith were kept in their midst, they would not have to worry about them harming the galaxy anymore. So, finally a serious conversation was had without the schism of past grievances, and the Jedi came to accept the new arrangement. After all, if these Sith abused their power, they had given the Jedi a legal way to remove them.
Thus the Sith became judges, and the Jedi became protectors, and the Force was brought into balance. Eventually, Jar Jar yielded his title to Anakin after a duel, and decided to retire while writing a book of his experience, which became a best seller, called "The Klutz Who Saved the Galaxy". Mace became the challenger to Anakin, but he was unable to overthrow him. Eventually, the Skywalker twins each had their go at Mace, Leia losing but Luke winning. Mace however refused to yield, as he had wished for things to go back to the way things were, so Luke had to put him down. A few random challengers, upset with the death of Mace, went after Luke, but they eventually yielded. Even though Luke was unable to overthrow Anakin, Anakin grew old and handed his position to Luke willingly, with Leia becoming the challenger, who would fend off those looking to go through her to get to her brother. Eventually, she defeated Luke who yielded, but rather than retire became the challenger in her stead, saying he wanted to repay her for all the quiet during his rule her time as the challenger brought him.
Eventually the man who we know as Star Killer challenged both the twins, defeating Luke then Leia. They left the Order and started families and simple lives, confident the one beat them was able to handle the galaxy in their stead. Many of the Sith Eternal began to challenge for the throne, but none could really put up a challenge. It was during this time the Order was put to the test, as they didn't want to play by the rules. However, because the Order and the Republic were completely separate entities by this time, their attacks on the Republic in hopes of reducing the power the New Jedii Order backfired, as they instead appointed the Order's king as their new ruler. This meant the Order could use the former Republic's resources to wipe the Sith Eternal out.
The last fight Star Killer had was against The Mother, and he lost his life in the process, but took her down with him. The former Jedi could have abandoned the New Jedii system the Sith implemented, but instead they saw that it worked, and put Thrawn and his brother into the position, who had been growing in the Force for awhile, due to having sought the help of the Jedii Empire to help the Chiss Ascendancy. They weren't the strongest, but the former Jedi knew they had the brains, and their powers in the force would only grow. So would continue the new Jedii way...

This version of "Darth Jar Jar" seems to be more of a neutral ronin (neither Jedi or Sith) that utilizes powers of the dark side but hasn't succumbed to its corruptive properties and uses his dark powers for good, but only when it is truly needed. Basically the dark side version of Ahsoka.

In previous powerful Sith Lords, they usually want to use the life force of their victims to empower them. The old Sith Lords hated Palpatine since they liked direct confrontations&combat over the Jedi. As for the typical Sith lust for power, they usually like to run things in the background instead of being in direct power since it's a position that can be challenged.
Jar jar is proof that you can be trained in the darkside of the force and still be good its up to you what you do with the power
I've noticed that too, some sith know nothing but hate, some actually fall in love, it's more about embracing your emotions, the jedi deny them, to remain neutral but it often fails. Anakin married padme, obituary wan loved Anakin like a brother, ect. That's the whole reason Padawans are always kids so they can be swayed away from emotion before puberty or whatever lol

My theory is you would have to trust those around you to stay good. Anakin had to keep his thoughts secret meaning he didn't trust those around him which allowed the negative aspects of the dark to seep in. If you train openly with family there to pull you back and you're willing to listen to them, you have a much better chance. I can't believe the dark side is just evil. If it was, that means the Force deliberately lets it exist while leaving it to others to balance it uncaring of the suffering. Emotion, yet peace waws the original tenant of the Jedi.
Hmm... So in this storyline Darth Jar-Jar was a light-side sith... In Star Wars the old republic i started a sith inquisitor that would make only light side choices. I didn't complete the storyline, though...
If Binks was a Sith, and I'm all for it, I think it's likely that Jar Jar and Palpatine would be in it together. They both grew up in the same planet, it's likely that they would both have been apprentices at the same time.
Na one would have been used as a tool to motivate or scare the other by there master.
They are definitely in on it together but it seems palp is the one in the drivers seat

This is how the rest of the story should go. Jar Jar married a gungan lady called Vase Vase. She laid an egg named Cup Cup but it got mixed up with some eggs from the store. Cup Cup was scrambled, fried and eaten. Neither of them noticed. The end.
This is amazing. Imagine if this was in the movie, as if palpatine revealing himself as a sith lord wasnt enough of a plot twist. I thought it was going to say plagueis had returned in jar jar at one point.
Since SWT doesn't do What If's like he used to, I can confidently say you're my favorite Star Wars what if channel. Keep up the great work man!
Also, just for the hell of it, what if Anakin broke Ahsoka out of containment before her trial?
Besides, nowadays, we already have channels such as Pente Patrol, Fantasy Folklore, and the Star Wars Galaxy to fulfill the need for What If stories.
My personal favorite is the first channel (referring to Pente Patrol) though since he is one of the few who made great use of Dooku in those stories. Tales of the Jedi really helped with that.

My headcanon has been that Jar Jar was actually darth Plaegius' master. (Palpatine sort of suspected that his master had never actually killed his own master. But when he started investigated it, he felt such a sinister and powerful presence within the dark side, that he decided to just never search for him again and hope he stayed hidden forever)
Jar Jar had somehow perfected Plaegius' ability to influence the midichlorians to create life, and gained the power to halt his aging through the force, bordering on immortality.
Is that mentioned in the Plaegius novel?

Darth Plagueis master was a Bith named Ruges Nome. He was a high end starship designer in his public life and Darth Tenebrous in private. Plagueis killed him in a cave collapse when Tenebrous was counting on Plagueis to assist him with Plagueis instead backstabbing at a vulnerable moment.
Tenebrous' second apprentice, Darth Venamis (another Bith it I remember right) lost a duel to Plagueis and ended up as a braindead test tube experiment for the next 20 years or so.

Darth Jar Jar's strength in the force was his reliance on misdirection, so his greatest ally in the force would be Mind Tricks almost to point of mind control, using force push/pull he could puppeteer someone against their will, crushing bones is raw force power, so instead he has the guards fight each other against their will.
I also think if his voice pitched changed to a lower Bass, sounding more like Boss Nass.
So basically "Darth" Jar-jar just fell to the light. I was hoping some master plan to take power from Sidius, and lead the Empire himself to be honest. Instead of just destroying the master plan.

What If Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Darth Maul all died during their duel?
What If Shmi was freed instead of Anakin?
What If Anakin and Padme never went to Geonosis?

What If: Jar Jar was the Sith Lord, but manipulated the Jedi into thinking it was Palpatine, who's just a chancellor, and the Jedi unknowingly kills Palpy out of haste, which leads to Republic outrage, thus labeling the Jedi 'traitors'

Yoda would have figured out that someone mindtricked him sooner or later.
Also, would've been an interesting story if Sith weren't singlemindeadly focused on destroying Jedi and instead did what it says on the tin they should - gathered more power. Jedi are willing tools of the force, killing them changes nothing in the grand scale. Now succeeding where Vitiate failed and becoming force gods, now that would be a lot grander of a plan. Why stop at just one galaxy if you can have everything?
Palpatin being best friends with Jedi while secretly trying to conquer the Force would've been a very interesting story.

I would have preferred Jar Jar Binks to be a sith, but not as the anti-hero depicted in this video, but to take the place of Count Dooku, mainly because I just thought Dooku didn't really add much, like there was no real weight to the character other than Yoda's former padawan, but that's about it

The Jedi stole anakins kids from him. I wouldn't be surprised if Anakin falls to the dark side again if/when he finds out. And they decide not to return his children to him.

What if upon discovering the Clones, Obi-Wan disputed the order and caused the Kaminoans to cancel the order and sue the Jedi Order and Republic for violating the contract and putting in fraudulent order as the "customers" not willing to pay for the service, resulting the Republic blacklisting the Kaminoans (committing fraud against the Republic) and ending up fighting the CIS without clones but with mass conscription of bloodthirsty patriots due to insane amount of losses the CIS was able to inflict on?

I don't think Jar Jar would have gotten so close to those in power so easy! There were Clone troopers and stormtroopers against anyone supporting the Jedi. Plus, the Senate was corrupted in the direction of war against anyone that appose them!

Nice entertaining story. I just can't grasp why Jar Jar as a Sith would want the Jedi to come back. He should be all for their demise. I get Jar Jar turning on Palps but he should of done that to become Emperor himself.
He's basically the Tom Bombadil of Star Wars- immensely powerful, too much to even desire power as its a virtually meaningless concept to him , too powerful to be at the mercy of anyone else and who only wants peace and quiet.
In my head darth jar jar is a thing and I'll tell you why because it completely explains everything we ever saw from Jar Jar Binks and makes the nonsense seem logical and sensible. However I'm not quite sure that he would be so angry at Palpatine about taking care of the Jedi that that part kind of seems weird if he's a dark lord of the Sith then why would he be an advocate for the Jedi at all? But I do have more video to watch here so perhaps that answer will be given before it's over with. This story seems to make jar jar the hero of the republic. But i do love it.
