Wow this was a very interesting route to take. A slower paced story with the building tension of Anakin's actions as the story progressed. Padme attempt to restore democracy but save her husband. This was great, I see you put alot of thought into and it turned out very well. Can't wait for the next one.
Anakin would need to implement the Emperor/Challenger system, much like in Afro Samurai. This would make the violence born of hatred toward Anakin become bottlenecked into this system, rather than it harming the citizenry as a whole. He would consult with the Jedi for this, as he'd want them to protect this new order of things, even saying they could challenge him through the system, and that it didn't have to end in death, only in submission.
What if Anakin, as the Chosen One, was not susceptible to the influence of the dark side of the force? he could use it however he wanted, but it wouldn't change his character 180 degrees? to explain more precisely, Anakin as the chosen one would be like the Father from Mortis, he would be a pure balance, able to use both the Light and Dark sides of the force equally, without giving in to the whispers of either side or even being susceptible to them?
Slight correction. You need to absorb force lightning to then use it properly. Anikan had absorbed force lightning multiple times from count dooku. The day his hand was cut off. Great work. One more great video and i will subscribe.
This could definitely use a part 2. I want to see how yoda and obiwan confront anakins rule of the empire especially with how they haven’t even talked to each other since the order fell.
I think the best ending, in line with Anakin's split between the light and dark, is that eventually he duels and overpowers Yoda and Obiwan. Ahsoka stops him from landing the killing blow (yoda is already knocked out). Anakin sees the error of his ways, knowing he would have killed Obiwan if Ahsoka didn't stop him. Anakin agrees to rule according to Padme and Bail's advice, and sets the Empire to expire upon his death, no heirs. He also resolves the slavery issue once and for all (and also dissolves the ISB). The aforementioned occurs relatively early in part two. At some point mid story his empire is attacked by the Vong, and former ISB agents and military personal are reinstated, but only for war purposes (domestic purposes are prohibited unless specifically related to counterespionage against Vong spies from within the empire.) The Reformed and Rebuilt Jedi fight alongside Anakin's Empire to defeat the Vong. Anakin goes on to outlive Padme and his children, due to his extreme potential (rather sad ending), and promises upon Padme's and Luke's grave to dissolve the empire. As Leia is dying (his last child still living), he ends the Empire in her name, so that she sees the wish fulfilled. Anakin and Ahsoka expire on the same day (make it some weird dyad thing) soon after.
What if Sidious found the twins? For this to occur, there's the simple way which is Sidious arrives way earlier and confronts Kenobi and obviously defeats him.

What if Palpatine *did* know how to save others from dying? Perhaps his cloning research/essence transfer research reaches a breakthrough much earlier? Perhaps he learns to manipulate the Midichlorians before he kills Plagueis? Etc
He already knows how to manipulate it… Anakin killing Sidious would’ve gave him the knowledge and it’s not like Anakin wasn’t crafty enough to figure it out. Even as Darth Vader he was the first to have perfected the cloning process to make a Starkiller even stronger than the original + have his prior memories. Sidious was telling the truth, him and Anakin could’ve saved Padme. Anakin was just too reckless (it was very understandable for someone with his upbringing though don’t get me wrong).
Great video. creating the imperial council and filling it with the very people that were the strongest opponents to him at first at least firmly kicked away the legs from under any formation of a Rebel Alliance.
22:00 they can split the difference and make it a constitutional monastery with the power split evenly between the emperor/empress role and the imperial senate to have the best of both worlds
i thought a parliametary federal republic would be best. from every indication that i can see, the government was unitary, and the senate had basically universal power. it should be federal, with the senate, a lower house, and every planet would have its own senate and lower house. and the leader can only be from the duly elected largest party.
Padame's betraying Anakin is what solidified his intention to rule through force. Instead of being a wife to him, she chose to be a politician. Tragic.
I can see this as a possibility, but I think Anikan would be emperor for only a couple months. He would use his power to stop order 66 and start a crusade against slavery and after that I could see him restoring the republic. He only wanted power to save Padme, once plaptine died I think everything would change for him. Not only would he no longer be influenced by dark side dreams, he would have access to all of palpatine's files and realise that the republic had some issues yes, but they were intentionally worsened by palptine since the battle of naboo in order to create the clone wars. After some mass excecutions of the corrupt officials palpatine was paying, I think democracy could be restored.
I agree that Anakin wouldn't want to hold power, but I don't entirely agree that he'd be willing to just let it go without ensuring safeguards to prevent the corruption that seated itself into the very heart of the Republic. Plus, Anakin favors a Roman-style system with a democratic senate presided over by a strong executive office that can break stalemates and force a decision when needed, he basically mentions that in Episode 2. I see him putting together some sort of hybrid system between the Republic and the Empire before abdicating.
Only thing... I don't think Anakin would be so willing to maintain his position of power like that, because he didn't really _want_ that power. I honestly see him abdicating the throne to Padme, provided a "Roman" system like the early Empire's structure was maintained, with a still active senate presided over by a strong executive office. My reasoning? A couple things: 1. Episode 2, during the same conversation that highlighted Anakin and Padme's differences in political beliefs, after Anakin talks about a system "where a group of people discuss things and come to agree, but if they can't agree, someone makes them", Padme asks "who, you?", to which Anakin responds "No, someone wise". That shows that, at least at that point, Anakin knows he's not leader material. 2. As Vader, Anakin had quite a few opportunities to at least attempt to overthrow Palpatine, but never actually attempted it despite considering it, and despite it being expected of him as a Sith. He instead was intent on recruiting his son to his cause. Before that Vader did regularly move behind Palpatine's back, but it was always more subversive, never a direct attempt to overthrow Palpatine. For a Sith he wasn't very ambitious in the way you'd expect a Sith to be. Those offers of "ruling as father and son", when combined with everything else, come off more as offers to put Luke on the throne while Vader continued to hold his position of enforcer. I definitely don't see him doubling down after the attempted wakeup call.
Loved the story, If there is a part two i would like to see him go to his old master, Obi one for advice. no system is inherintly good or bad, the first tyrant comes from greece and he fixed the problems of that time, and then after he fixed everything he left. i would love to see how Anakin resolves the issues without relying on bloodshed.
Wow, this was actually... Really unique! That would be a heck of a way to keep them on track. They'd shape up (and have a lot of 'pre-discussion conversation') or live with his decision on the matter. Of course, then you'd likely have someone pull a filibuster and wouldn't that be a fun dilemma for Emperor Skywalker to deal with? On the one hand, he got his way. On the other hand, this isn't how he wanted it to work, it's the exact opposite of what he intended!

In my head canon of this story after the coup attempt by his wife Anakin realized that Ahsoka's training was no where near complete. Ahsoka would learn new force techniques from him while being paired with Thrawn while also hiring cad bane and other bounty hunters who have had success in killing or capturing Jedi, Sith or other force users to teach her a kinda best of both worlds, tactical genius as well as unconventional strategies. Ahsoka being a sponge would soon be a terrifying force in her own right. Ahsoka learning from Thrawn uses not only art but history talks Anakin into reinstating a emperor's counsel but with a twist. Ahsoka designs a grand play or fake counsel if u will by using fosters (hostages) of each counsel members family. Just like Theon Greyjoy, heirs are humbly invited(forced) to be raised in the new imperial palace, given their own personal guards and servants (executioners) for their safety
She could have taken the long viewand insisted that he restored democracy when Anikin believed he had achieved peace and I think this Anikin would have listened but in her haste to be proved right she allowed politics to distroy her. The anger that led to suffering was the councils
I'm not sure the Jedi are necessarily going to side with democracy in this timeline. It definitely depends on how Emperor Anakin's rule ends up going. So far, he's not really showing much inclination towards the dark side, and his lenience towards the people who literally tried to have him abducted and overthrown is practically saintly. So long as he continues to rule with that kind of light touch, I think there's a good chance the Jedi see him as, at worst, the lesser evil. And, in any case, after the Clone Wars, I imagine they'll be hesitant to get involved in galactic politics again. That said, I could easily see a number of Jedi individually deciding to stand against the Empire. Those who legitimately believe in democracy, or just those survivors of Order 66 who carry a grudge against Anakin in particular. I just doubt the Jedi Order, as an institution, would endorse that position. I don't think it'd necessarily lead to a Jedi civil war, per se, but maybe the dissatisfied Jedi leave the Order and end up linking up with old Separtist partisans out of a shared hatred of the Empire?
I don't think that Anakin would be stopped by the Jedi or the rebellion, as long as Anakin has his children on his side. The power that Anakin and his children would have far eclipsed that of any other mortal force user, let alone some random bounty hunters and soldiers. So the odds of the Jedi and rebellion winning against the 3 are pretty low. The only way that I can see for Anakin to be replaced is with his own children succeeding him. I mean the Skywalkers are meant to be gods amongst force users when they reach their full potential, it's just that we've never seen them canonically reach their true potential due to certain reasons and factors, but in a what-if situation like this, there is nothing stopping them from reaching their potential.
I can just imagine most of the clones and military officers cheering Anakin as their new leader. Bro would definitely have the support of Tarkin and that would give him a lot of good connections and relationships early on. Tarkin would find it questionable, but he knows how these power games work and that he and Papa Palps were very close and he was the only Jedi he genuinely respected as he didn't even expose his identity to the Empire when he understood who exactly Darth Vader behind the mask was.
Why even question then monologue? He knew the truth about Palpatines intentions, so why not wait until he turns to face away from Anakin then immediately ignite his saber and cut him down before he can react?
I am curious, did any Jedi have any children so that they could have more Jedi or did they just slowly let there be less as they die of old age. I’m trying to figure out how Luke ends up as the last one or something in the sequel. Update: oh yeah, they were killed off.
Force lightning is a parody of electric judgment, some Jedi Master can use electric judgment, but think crank it up into 11 and it became force lightning, he intently became a Sith accidentally.
Yeah I don't know man Anakin seems to value Padme over everything else. If he's not being driven by the dark side then I can't imagine him turning against her. I find it more likely that he would quickly retire from the position of Emperor (if he even took it in the first place) and would seek to live out the rest of his days in peace with his wife and kids.
1. He wasn't exiled to a different galaxy, he was exiled to the unknown regions. 2. That's basically the plot of the Thrawn/Heir to the Empire Trilogy from Legends, apart from being exiled.
okay just saying it would have been really cool if Anakin and all of his ability managed to move a part of the coruscant atmosphere to where he was in the vacuum of space
We all know it's Luke, Leia, Han and Lando who's gonna come up with what needs to be done to restore democracy, they'll have to prove that is the "something better" anakin spoke of
Im in. I just subscribed. Im 47 year old husband and father of 3 kids so im not a kid in my parents basement. Nice work for such a young man. I look forward to your imagination. How about a what if Quigon never died. What would he have done in the Clone Wars. The Republic or Dooku? What if he took Anakin to the Seperatists? Also, What if Anakin was using the force on Padme and neither of them knew it. He could have been projecting thoughts in her mind
what if palpatine told the senate he was sidious when he was elected (not illegal by the time of the prequels) what if anakin used force lightning in various moments throughout the clone wars what if gungi stayed with the bad batch what if caleb joined the bad batch when his master died what if caleb survived the fire on lothal what if anakin blocked windu’s strike instead of cutting off his hand what if ahsoka got to coruscant with maul before mace windu left for the chancellors office
What if Padme fell in love with Obi-Wan during episode 1 but doesn’t say anything till episode 2 when she’s alone with Anakin on Naboo and tried pursuing Obi-Wan after the start of the clone wars. I think this would heavily affect things and Anakin could possibly go to the dark side during the clone wars being jealous of Obi-Wan.
Its funny that padma is also wrong and anakin was right the Republic failed she and the council should have come up with a new Republic but addressing the faults that it had, dont forget the new Republic in lore was also destroyed due to the same type of failures.
the bad thing is... i think the republic was simply too large. you cant have the citizens directly elect the president, or the senate. and we know that any democratic state that doesnt have direct elections tend to go corrupt.
A democracy is nothing more than the rule of the mob, A dictatorship is nothing more than the rule of a man's whim, A republic is something between the two ends. Perhaps Anakin would manage to create an alternative, wanting to keep his kids safe, and secure the future of the wider galaxy, rather than just some meaningless government that won't be present in a few thousand years.
What no clear conclusion. Anakin isn't bad in this he was right the Republic was right and corrupt. If he and Ahsoka shared power if might be better. But with no conclusion we'll never know.
@@matthewbarabas3052 While I REALLY want to do a Yoda imitation here I'm terrible at that. That said, I do not speak of Emperor Anakin. The numbered Star Wars movies HAVE, however, shown at least 2 creatures for whom the vacuum of space is their natural environment. And, while it mat simply have been how the special effects worked, they DID appear to be biological. And, in at least one case, hungry. I think the TV shows have featured a few more and the (now) non cannon books quite a few more.
Obiwan Kenobi would have at least wanted a face to face meeting with Anakin, Yoda is more up in the air and it's more of an extension of who Obiwan is. Padme wouldn't have been that stupid, there's experts who were responsible for planning the Rebellion's movements in Star Wars IV-VI

Might sound weird but what if palpatine and Sidious where two separate personalities in one body both able to use the force not like a Anakin Vader way but more like a actual split personality disorder way with both their personalities being opposite in terms of which side of the force they practice. Again not a Anakin Vader thing because that was a result of someone rejecting who they used to be I’m talking about a normal split personality disorder not rejecting your past.

I have an idea!!! How about, what if all the jedi see a vision of the future.
I would love to see a part 2
Please part 2!!!
What if Palpatine had learned Darth Plagueis' secret to prevent someone from dying before killing his master?
Possibility palpatine returns through cloning.
"Aunt Ahsoka" has a nice ring to it.
Why even question then monologue? He knew the truth about Palpatines intentions, so why not wait until he turns to face away from Anakin then immediately ignite his saber and cut him down before he can react?
Part 2 anikan accomplishes his goals and overseas a new form of elected leaders as an ultimate told you so
If you really want Anakin to return to the light side, you have to get him before he slaughters the younlings.
Very interesting story and alternate timeline of events.
I am curious, did any Jedi have any children so that they could have more Jedi or did they just slowly let there be less as they die of old age. I’m trying to figure out how Luke ends up as the last one or something in the sequel.
Update: oh yeah, they were killed off.
So wait, if you can use force lightning when you get attacked by force lightning, how did force lightning even become a power?
Force lightning is a parody of electric judgment, some Jedi Master can use electric judgment, but think crank it up into 11 and it became force lightning, he intently became a Sith accidentally.
What if Anakin breaks Padme's heart. Not litarally but emotionally saddens her
Yeah I don't know man
Anakin seems to value Padme over everything else. If he's not being driven by the dark side then I can't imagine him turning against her. I find it more likely that he would quickly retire from the position of Emperor (if he even took it in the first place) and would seek to live out the rest of his days in peace with his wife and kids.
Anakin as himself, for better and for worse.
What if Palpatine killed Yoda?
I’m curious. What happened with the clones in this time line? Were they replaced or did they continue serving the empire?
What if grand admiral thrawn founded a new empire in the galaxy he was exiled to
1. He wasn't exiled to a different galaxy, he was exiled to the unknown regions.
2. That's basically the plot of the Thrawn/Heir to the Empire Trilogy from Legends, apart from being exiled.
Part 2, Part 2, Part 2! I am interested in how this story ends.
What if Plo Koon became a force ghost?
I’ll add this one to the list :) Thanks :)
Do what if Quinlan Vos rebuilt the order using the Path
Or what if Cin Drallig defeated Vader in the temple
Please show us part 2
Im so glad Anakin is emperor lets go!!!
But didn't Anakin received a full barrage of Force Lighting from Count Dooku Since AotC, multiple Times
What if Anakin only has the chocie to save padme or save the jedi?
okay just saying it would have been really cool if Anakin and all of his ability managed to move a part of the coruscant atmosphere to where he was in the vacuum of space
There is no affterlife.
what if palpatine told the senate he was sidious when he was elected (not illegal by the time of the prequels)
what if anakin used force lightning in various moments throughout the clone wars
what if gungi stayed with the bad batch
what if caleb joined the bad batch when his master died
what if caleb survived the fire on lothal
what if anakin blocked windu’s strike instead of cutting off his hand
what if ahsoka got to coruscant with maul before mace windu left for the chancellors office
I think no one remember what happened on Mortis
What if ahsoka kills anakin back on mortis while she was being controlled by the Son.
How ahsoka could live with herself with that memory in her head?
If you have to be struck by force lightning to learn it how did the first person learn it lol
A democracy is nothing more than the rule of the mob,
A dictatorship is nothing more than the rule of a man's whim,
A republic is something between the two ends.
Perhaps Anakin would manage to create an alternative, wanting to keep his kids safe, and secure the future of the wider galaxy, rather than just some meaningless government that won't be present in a few thousand years.
we gotta retire the word “quagmire”
What if Palpatine wasn’t disfigured by Mace throwing his lightning back at him?
Did he became the Sith’ari or I’m just confused
What no clear conclusion. Anakin isn't bad in this he was right the Republic was right and corrupt. If he and Ahsoka shared power if might be better. But with no conclusion we'll never know.
"Without a space suit a biological being can not survive for more than a minute i space." Um... Good story but, has the writer seen Star Wars movies?
Anakin never demonstrated any skill in using the force in that manner.
Good story but I didn't like the ending. It feels like you need a part ll.
Hello there
suggestion for future video: what if the jedi weren't dogmatic and cranky
Obiwan Kenobi would have at least wanted a face to face meeting with Anakin, Yoda is more up in the air and it's more of an extension of who Obiwan is. Padme wouldn't have been that stupid, there's experts who were responsible for planning the Rebellion's movements in Star Wars IV-VI
Just constructive criticism, during ur videos don't explain the why's&how's. if u wanna explain do it at the end, not in the middle of ur story, no rambling required.
Criticism isnt constructive but what you did was feedback
Might sound weird but what if palpatine and Sidious where two separate personalities in one body both able to use the force not like a Anakin Vader way but more like a actual split personality disorder way with both their personalities being opposite in terms of which side of the force they practice. Again not a Anakin Vader thing because that was a result of someone rejecting who they used to be I’m talking about a normal split personality disorder not rejecting your past.
